Welcome to the Cowbell Cottage! We are nestled in the small town of Tuftonboro in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. The Cowbell Cottage is a small, cozy and dog friendly cottage on 5 acres off a private dirt road. We welcome well-behaved, potty trained dogs to come vacation with their families. We have a small, 4 foot tall dog fence attached to the house for your dog to play and for potty breaks. The Cowbell Cottage is perfect for a small family or couple looking for a quiet get away. Please note that the Cowbell Cottage is unable to host large groups or parties. No more than 5 guests!! Enjoy our two small, but cozy bedrooms and one full bath. In the winter time you can fire up the pellet stove after snowmobiling on the lake! Or hang on the back yard deck after a day of swimming in the summer. The Cowbell Cottage is enjoyable during all of New England's seasons. The cottage is located then a mile from Lake Winnipesaukee 19 Mile Bay Area where you can enjoy a public beach and public boat launch. We are also less than a mile from Mirror Lake, 10 mins from down town Wolfeboro, one hour from the White Mountains and 1.5 hrs from Boston. It's the perfect location.

Quick trip to the Lake

Every year we come to the lake to take our kids to camp. It’s always just 2 nights, but we like staying in a house especially now that we have a dog. The Cowbell Cottage was perfect. It was so clean and nicely decorated. We had a lovely time. Ashley was a great host.

Great visit!

Cowbell Cottage was a perfect fit for us! The house was super cute with little touches all over that made it feel like home - and little extras for the things we forgot too. The washer & dryer worked great which was clutch for our family. The fenced yard was great for the dogs and the property afforded us lots of space for fetch. Our host provided ample info about the house & local restaurants & amenities. Overall, loved the trip, the house & our host!

Hi everyone ! My name is Ashlee and I am the owner of the Cowbell Cottage. The Cowbell Cottage is a very special place for me! It is my first home I ever purchased about 8 years ago. The Cowbell Cottage is named after my farm, Cowbell Farm in Groton, MA. I moved there 3 years ago and I now split my time between the Cowbell Cottage in my home town and Cowbell Farm. In the summer months you may see my horses in the paddock at the Cowbell Cottage! I am happy to allow dogs at the cottage as I have 5 dogs and it can be hard to travel!
