Great for an overnight stay

I rented this property for my daughter who had business in Lafayette. Both she and I reached out to the property owner with questions, but to no avail. Otherwise, she had a pleasant enough stay.

Never Got Entry Information

I contacted the host via inbox to get entry information the day before. Host replied and said he would call the day of to give me entry information. I did not hear from him day off I sent a message when we got on the road and when we arrived. No answer from host.Worst experience ever We had to find a hotel room

Great Place

Perfect all around location to site see during the day and enjoy the night life with all the different pubs on Jefferson St. We’ll diffidently be staying here again in the future.

One day get away

We will definitely be staying here again! Love the property and the location. Perfect for strolling with great locations to sip and eat, and for events/festivals downtown. You do get street noise a little late (Friday night) and early Saturday (street sweeper) but nothing that kept us up. Thanks for being a good host and sharing your place with us!

Good stay!

Everything was just as we expected. The property is very nice and clean. Very chic. Location perfect for Downtown vibe. Only issue was malfunction of parking gate so we had to make alternate parking arrangements when we returned to vrbo at night. Close to property, just not in secure parking lot. We did not have any issues. Would definitely stay again.

Halloween Party

We came in town for a Halloween party. The apartment is so cute and just like the pictures, actually much bigger than I expected. Very clean. If you are staying at this location, it is a party street. Loud until bars shut down but lots of police outside. College town.

Great Place

Great property and would consider staying here again, but would suggest a few fixes. 1. Backlot parking is very dark if you get in at night. 2. Exterior and parking lot could be tidier 3. Storm windows could help quiet down the noise from the outside. Thanks for the visit

Horrible Experience

The property looks beautiful from the pictures. Unfortunately, I was never able to stay. Despite multiple attempts, the host never responded to confirm the reservation. Since I had to travel over 5 hours to get there, I needed assurance that I would have a place once I got in town. I ended up having to book a different reservation and was not charged for this stay. The hassle and waste of time was a lot, I would recommend booking elsewhere

Noisy, Noisy, Noisy. Nightlife noise and traffic noise was awful until bar time. Steet cleaning noise started at 7 am. Other than that, the place was huge, well stocked and cheap. I did not like the bed as it was way too soft.

Great location

We came in to town for a wedding. The place was extremely clean and the quality of the space was better than the listing pictures. It was near a good variety of restaurants and things to do. The only down side was that downtown Lafayette can be loud at night. If you plan on going to bed early this may not be the spot for you. If you enjoy being close to night life, this is the perfect stay for you!

I really wanted to love this place

This trip was not all bad, but man did it push some boundaries. The apartment itself is lovely and well situated for much of the downtown area. In fact, it is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, live music, shopping, and other activities.Now for the hard truths. It is situated right above a wedding and event space, to which the building owner (not the apartment manager) may give the gate code to special parties of the event and you will have to find partking elsewhere. Highly inconvenient. Also, this is not for the light sleeper. The street noise is really as bad as some of the other reciews have mentioned, everything from a party bus making a circuit of downtown to a wedding in the venue below that lasted to well after midnight.To add to this, security feels like an issue. The night of the wedding, i stayed up waiting for people to leave so i could move my car from a metered parking spot to inside thw gate. Once i moved the car, I watched from the top of the stairs as I heard and saw a bunch of raucus college aged kids. There was already a hole in the fence in which 3 "students" crawled through and kicked out several more fence boards. After that, I witnessed several "students" use the enlarged hole as a gateway to the parking area to urinate or going into the dumpster area to, presumably, do or sell drugs. I watched this behavior for nearly an hour, while the cops were on the other side of the building. I finally went in after the groups dispersed and left

On the routine Saturday I stayed, it was very loud due to street noise. This wasn't a special event. I assume that Friday and Saturday have the worst noise. If you'll be home between 9 PM and 4 AM, stay anywhere else instead of here. I don't know how bad the noise is on other days. More frustrating than the street noise is that the host has chosen not to mention it in the listing description. I wouldn't stay here again just on principle: I don't trust a host who withholds information that will help prospective guests. I live on a busy street in a large city. I've stayed on busy streets in Manhattan, San Francisco, and outside the US. The street noise here is much louder than any of them. The town's nightlife hub is directly below the bedroom windows. People are blaring car stereos, revving engines, and bringing portable speakers. This continued until about 3 AM. By 4 AM it was quiet. I sent my feedback to the host afterwards, particularly that the noise level should be clearly mentioned in the listing. The host did not respond.

L’appartement est magnifique et bien situé. Nous y avons été très bien pendant notre séjour. Par contre, le wifi ne fonctionnait pas et le responsable des lieux n’a jamais répondu à notre message texte concernant ce problème, ce qui est une déception.
