Permit # 2023-0464. Beautiful gardens surround 2 nice heated swimming pools. Spring break restrictions apply: Families only or adults 24 years old with verified IDs. Our condo is fully furnished with a king size bed in the master bedroom and 2 full size beds in the 2nd bedroom. Living room has a sofa-sleeper. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size electric range & oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes and utensils. We provide you with 2 flat screen TVs, cable with 6 HBO and 4 ESPN, DVD player, free WIFI internet service, VOIP phone with free long distance (domestic) calls, bed linens, bath towels, iron and ironing board. You only need to bring your personal items. The 2 heated (at winter time) outdoor swimming pools were renovated this year. We're located just across the boulevard from Sea Turtle Inc. and the fantastic South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center, the Rio Grande Valley's premier destination for birdwatching. Walking distance to Clayton's, Club Louie, Barry's Bistro, On The Border, etc.. Many activities within 10 minutes of the condominium: South Padre Island Water Park, dolphin watch, boogie boarding, snorkeling and scuba, surfing, windsurfing, kite-boarding and sailboat rentals. There is bay fishing, deep sea fishing, fishing at the jetties, pier, surf and fly fishing. Other activities include beach 4-wheeling, horseback riding and the Laguna Madre Nature Trail. 30 minute drive to Brownsville to one of the top zoos in the country—The Gladys Porter Zoo. Paradise for golfers, there is golf at the South Padre Island Golf Club in Laguna Vista and many more courses around the valley. Come see why we love South Padre Island!!! Pets must be pre-approved. Second stay

This was our second time staying in this property and we loved it. It is well stocked with all the essentials. Within walkable distance to beach access. Very clean and comfortable environment. Check in was simple and communication with David was always very quick in regards to response time and extremely friendly. Will be staying there again soon.

The property is very clean and comfy. Very well stocked for easy meal preparation. It offers everything you need to spend spend the day at the beach as well as easy access. I will definitely be back.

This 2 bedroom/2 bath condo was perfect for me and my husband, daughter and son-in-law and their dog. The location was great. And it was decorated so cute. We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful, pleasant condo near beach

Spacious, clean and comfortable condo with easy access to beach, about a minute's walk from the beach. First floor with walkway to handicapped parking spot, suitable for seniors. Owner was responsive and welcoming. On site office management was nice. This was a terrific experience and we highly recommend this place.

Perfect 2 Bedroom Condo with Great Location!

Let me start by saying that we have stayed at The Tiki for many years now, but we have always rented a one-bedroom unit close to the gulf. We decided to try a 2-bedroom condo and we discovered David's beautiful island home, and it did not disappoint. The 2-bedroom unit was a lot more spacious which is exactly what we needed because we are a family of four. It is a very comfortable ground floor unit with a short walk to the beach. David is a very nice owner, and his communication was great. He was always a phone call or text away in case we needed anything. We had a great experience at David's beautiful island home that I told him that he gained annual renters. Thank you, David, for making our island stay GREAT!

Best Family Beach Trip Ever!

Place was great. Beach was Fantastic! Property was very nice. From the start, our host David was very accommodating and communicated with us the whole way through. This was our first family trip to the beach and we even got to bring our dog! Everything was absolutely wonderful. Thank You David!!!

Beach Memories

We have not been to South Padre in 15 years and loved our visit! The owner was extremely communicative and helpful! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. I loved the layout of the complex with two beautiful pools and the beach so close. It reminded me of our recent trip to Hawaii and the condo layout. I loved having a first floor condo which made bringing my dogs a breeze. There also were poop sacks and waste bins with a nice area to walk the dogs right outside the condo. I have an electric vehicle and was able to charge for free within walking distance at the Holiday Inn right by the condo. There were some dirty towels left and missing beach towels and the owner got both taken care of extremely quickly.

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beach property. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. David was in constant communication with us and making sure we had everything we needed even before our arrival. There was plenty of space for all of us and our two dogs. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable beach getaway.

Best Condo Ever at the Tiki!!

I have stayed at the Tiki many times. This rental has been the best so far. The pictures do not do it justice. The condo is very clean, well decorated, and spacious. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, with soft sheets and pillows. Both bathrooms have luxury towels, extra amenities like soap, shampoo and conditioner. (not many Tiki rentals have this) Our host, David, also provides more extras; beach towels, sunscreen, and extra toilet paper. The kitchen has everything you need including a drip coffee maker, filters, and a cabinet with spices, oil, and sugar. There is even aluminum foil, and plastic wrap, and extra trash can bags. He provides grill utensils, a beach umbrella, chairs, and bougie boards. The location is a very short walk to the beautiful beaches of South Padre. We had wonderful communications with our host. If you are looking for a spacious, clean and inviting pace for your next vacation, rent this condo!

Great spot to get to the beach

Great location north of the main tourist spots but next door to Clayton's if that's your thing. Place was clean and easily slept our family of 5. Full kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and bathrooms were stocked with extra towels. The entire complex is non-smoking so we enjoyed a lot of patio and pool time. 5/5 would recommend.

Memorable "Firsts"

This was a much needed impulse trip! My family (son, daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, mom & grandbaby) & I had not been on a family trip. I had never even taken my daughter who is 21 yrs old to South Padre Island. I decided to book this trip and it exceeded all of our expectations! The layout of the condo was so spacious, it was extremely clean, the beach access was very convenient and David & Ana went above & beyond for us! David, the owner/manager, allowed us an earlier check in and a later check out which gave us a little more beach & family time. Ana, the housekeeper, fulfilled an odd request of a slow cooker & cheese grater. The condo was kept very cool, not like other hotels or condos where the temperature doesn't go very low in 105 degree weather. It was a nice refreshing cool. They also provided beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach items that made family time more fun! My mom, who is 78 yrs old, had not been to SPI since she was 15 and she absolutely enjoyed herself! Before we could leave she was already asking me when we could go back! My 1.5 year old grandbaby was able to be comfortable without too many things in his running path. We had a great time! David, my family cannot thank you & Ana enough for the hospitality!

Good time at Tiki for entire family

The host is very helpful and the location is great. Check in process is also extremely easy. The beds are super comfortable. Just AC is kind of very loud. If they can provide more toilet paper, kitchen towel and trash bag, that will be great. We end up cooking a few times and used up all kitchen towels and also toilet paper is running critically low.
