The Space:
The Foxglove Inn, formerly the 11th Ave Inn, is under new ownership and is being lovingly updated and restored. The rich colors & textures evoke a calm & studious vibe. Come to relax, to be inspired and to be re-energized.
The Kitchen offers a complimentary coffee & tea bar. Although Seattle, especially Capitol Hill, boasts some of the best coffee around, we have gone out of our way to bring you a local gem. Lighthouse Roasters is an independent and locally owned coffee roaster that has been producing fine specialty coffees in Seattle since 1993. We hope you love it as much as we do!
Oven and stove top are inoperable at this time. Kitchen features shared fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee appliances.
The Neighborhood:
Capitol Hill is the artsy, quirky, vibrant gay-borhood of Seattle. You will find visionary creatives alongside nerdy techies and bedazzled performers all mixing next to each other in the cafes and streets of Capitol Hill. Impromptu music jam sessions and tight rope walking practice in the park are every day occurrence on sunny days. Some of the most promising tech start ups are gestated right here in the local coffee shops just blocks from our Inn.
If you love art, take a walking tour of some of the best murals in the city - all right in our neighborhood. Some of the best restaurants, walk up eateries, craft cocktail bars & cafes are located in Capitol Hill.
Getting Around:
We are centrally located and close to public transit. The Capitol Hill light rail station & transit center is just a block and a half away. The street car is just 2 blocks. You can easily explore Capitol Hill from our location. Walking distance to Cal Anderson Park, Volunteer Park, the Asian Art Museum, restaurants, cafes, bars & shopping. You can walk, bus, ride share, scooter, bike or take the light rail to downtown, Pike Place, Seattle Art Museum, International District, or the waterfront. We are a local team and should you need us we are available & nearby. You may see one or two of us during your stay at the Inn but we don't keep regular office hours onsite. You can reach us anytime via the app or by phone in case of emergency.
