we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with covet dwellings.the house has been purchased by a new owner and they have updated it in some very positive ways. the group that maintains the property for the owners are top notch -going above normal to make your stay a true vacation. wonderful. marilyn was wonderful as well as Striker whom we hired to take us out for the day. we have been to Ambergris a couple times before this trip and this was the best! i would book with this group anywhere.

Nice home, but not for four couples

The home was advertised as 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms/showers, however when we got there, there’s only 3 1/2 bathrooms so two couples had to share a shower. When I mentioned this to the manager, she was surprised that the 4 bathroom was not completed. Do not advertise if you don’t know. The bathroom is in the process of being completed, but not even close when we were there. The manager said that they would refund us a night for the inconvenience, but still have not seen it. I will say that having the boat is a must. Ty and his crew were incredible. Definitely book fun excursions with them! The back pool was not functional when we got there and took about 2 days to fix. Not a huge deal for us, but everything should be functional when a group checks in. I did like that the house was away from San Pedro as it makes it quiet and more relaxing. Just know that you have to catch a boat every time you want to go to town. Chris at the Coconut Cafe was very cool, definitely go there. Go to where the locals eat at Caroline’s. Also go to the hole in the wall Normas. She does not disappoint.

Great place with a few challenges C

The VRBO is a good home with very accommodating concierge and support staff. The place listed that there was a dishwasher. There was not. There were several leaks but they were addressed right away. Because of the rain the bugs were very intense. We were disappointed we could not get in the water by our place. But the pool was amazing. Belize is beautiful but I don’t think we would choose this property again if we returned. We also missed that there is no washer or dryer at this property. Altogether it was an average house for the price. The people from the house that supported us made our trip!

We truly enjoyed Villa 1 at Brahma Blue. The property was situated on the small inlet off the lagoon separate from the main island and town of San Pedro. The interior was as described in the listing. The two pools were great - shallow pool in front of the property was great to relax in with beverage while the back pool was well suited for laps or playing around. We comfortably slept our family of 6. Best part of staying was the support by Mare. She was incredibly responsive from the day we booked our stay. She had great suggestions for everything - - renting golf carts, getting groceries and beverages, scheduling excursions and dinner reservations, arranging massages, coordinating with a private chef and recommending beaches. She was awesome every step of the way. The location was great for privacy yet introduced a bit of planning to coordinate with the water taxi. Dino, the water taxi driver, was great and responsive if you wanted to go back and forth of the scheduled times. If you’re planning late nights in San Pedro, this will be something to plan for. This was the perfect spot for us - day trips and couple evenings in San Pedro.

Awesome Property! However do not work with Corrina on reservations.

We loved the property it was great for our family gathering. The only thing to be aware of is there is not a beach out front as it shows. This is hard rock and not sand. Also, when we went to get into the water, there were like leaches that would attach to you. We were told they were water lice. Not sure but due to this not being an open body of water they grow in this area. Also, don't forget your bug spray. Mosquitos and sand flees are very very bad at times. We originally made arrangements with Corrina for our rental stay. It appeared she was setting everything up, however, once we arrived there was no one to pick people up etc. as had been communicated. Might have been a miscommunication, however, things continued to go array. From what we can tell Corrina has her own program that she runs on the outside. After we started inquiring, it appears that when you get things booked from Corrina they are much higher than normal and you don't know it. i.e. Golf Cart on line for 11 days was to be $1,400 BZD, however when we went to pay we were told $2,800 BZD. We later went in and asked just as a new customer and they reiterated again that the cost was to be $1,400. When we booked items through Corrina it appears she has an arrangement with vendors and you pay a higher amount which I am assuming goes to pay her. The same thing occurred on some of the tours we had arranged as well as the airline flights from the City to San Pedro. We paid $440 BZD when Corrina processed it and $350 when we did it on our own. We inquired if the rates changed daily and were told no they are always the same. Vivian, who is the new manager did an awesome job picking up the pieces and helping us get things back on track. She is a great manager and I would encourage working directly with her and Home Away. Additionally, we never did get a contract from Home Away it was always done with Corrina personally. Please note I am not making these comments against Corrina, simply to give future renters heads up as to what happened on our visit. All other cleaning and maintenance staff were great to work with and the property was a great location to stay.

Oasis in Belize

The communication from start to finish was unprecedented. We were treated with such VIP service from the months leading up to our visit all the way through to the final airport drop off. Solany was amazing and Dino shuttled us daily through our adventures. The house is beautiful and very comfortable for our family. Thank you for taking such good care of all of us.

Best Diving Trip Ever

The house was just as pictured, it's very quiet and peaceful being across the lagoon from Sam Pedro Town, a five minute ride by free water taxi takes you to your golf cart to access all San Pedro Town has to offer. We had some great dives, wonderful food and fun. The hosts we always ready to help, their recommendations we excellent, the grocery service had everything stocked when we got there and Alex the suggested Chef was amazing. Just a very nice place overall made better by great service. We called on a toilet with a broken Value chain and it was repaired within 15 minutes. Fantastic!

Stunning Villa!! Exceeds Expectations

This Villa is EVERYTHING! We were a group of 10 and all fit very comfortably. It was beautiful, modern, updated and everything we needed plus more. We spent hours in the pools, yes pools! The front is perfect for wading or enjoying a cocktail and when the weather got really hot, we would venture to the backyard in the deeper pool. Plenty of sunshine from the early mornings until sunset and less than a 2 minute walk to the Coconut Cafe (where we enjoyed breakfast every morning) and the taxi to take you across the bay. I can't thank Marilyn and Corrina enough. These ladies absolutely crushed it!! Their communication was stellar, any question we had, we had answered within minutes. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable, our trip would not have been as successful without them. This villa is 10/10!!

Amazing place to stay!

This was such a fantastic experience. The house was beautiful and clean. We spent lots of time in the infinity edge pool. The rooms were nice and cool with the AC. The WiFi worked well and the staff treated us so well. Never had a problem getting around. Dino was always there to answer our questions. Corrina was a great concierge and did everything to accommodate our group. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

Ask and you shall receive!

We traveled with a group of 8 people (4 couples). I booked this house about a year ago and spoke with Corrina, via email and telephone, numerous times. I had many concerns as we had never been to Belize before. However, through phone conversations and research, my concerns vanished. Corrina set up all of excursions and they were phenomenal. The first day we were there, the group decided that they wanted to have a chef come to the house for the entire day. I called Teresa, Corrina's assistant/ property manager, and an hour later had the chef booked for the next day. We also decided to get massages on our pier the same day. One phone call was all it took and we had massages on our island on our dock the same day. We felt like royalty. It is tough to vacation this way!!! The chefs were amazing. All of our food that day was delicious...words can not do it justice. We were truly spoiled after this. However, the food in San Pedro is fantastic. We did not have one bad meal. The massages were excellent as well. The house is as pictured. It is fantastic. Villa 1 is perfect for a group of 8. One couple has to share a bathroom but it worked out as the bathroom they shared had two showers. There is a half bath downstairs for the group to use. We had plenty of dishes, cups, etc to prepare full meals. We did buy groceries in San Pedro prior to coming to the island. This house is on its own private island. We had the place to ourselves for six days and it was incredible. The views are breathtaking. We did not swim in the ocean much but we spent many hours lounging poolside. It was a five minute boat ride to San Pedro. This was perfect. We were able to have quiet time on the island and then party/site see in San Pedro when we wanted. Last, but not least...DINO...he did everything he could to make our stay fantastic. You could call him on the cell phone provided and he would be there momentarily. He did anything you asked of him at a moments notice. He really does an amazing job as the caretaker. He made our vacation so much more enjoyable. For those of you with concerns, don't be. Staying in this house was like being at a private resort. We had housekeeping every other day. The toilet paper was never empty. The water station was always full. We didn't have to do much other than lay by the pool and enjoy our vacation. We did a private snorkel trip with Tony from the Office. This was incredible. He took us to Hol Chan, Shark Ray Alley, and Mexico Rocks. He even took

Exactly What We Needed and More!!!!!

From the moment I inquired until the day of our dreaded departure-Corrina went above and beyond in assisting us with planning what is to date...the most epic vacation we have ever had!!! She arranged for our very own private water taxi to transfer us from Belize Int'l Airport directly to the dock at Playa Villa Belize (Rum punch, music, and a fantastic start to our holiday included!) When we arrived our kitchen/bar was stocked with all of the items we pre-ordered on-line through the grocery provisioning service she hooked us up with - Lagniappe Grocery. I literally walked in the door and was like "omg, this place is insane! We actually get to live here for a week!" I was in my bikini and making margaritas for everyone within minutes and my husband was already preparing the BBq for the fresh fish we had ordered that Terressa was already marinating. Thanks Terressa! (Teressa and Kevin do the grocery provisioning and are also the owners of Lagniappe Belize Chef Services). They provided us breakfast, lunch, and dinner the next day and the food was so delish we ended up hiring them every other day we were there.( I may sound overly excited but I can't even begin to describe how smooth our trip was and how rare it is to receive such amazing service) Dino, Dino, Dino...I wish we could have kidnapped him! He was like one of the family by the time we departed. Dino was our Captain and is also the on-site Caretaker who is always there to help with anything! And we loved our little water taxi's to town and back...the weather was so nice, the water taxi to/from town was always looked forward to. (The water taxi is $2.50/person each way which was nothing compared to the pricing of the other taxi's in San Pedro town. And once we got dropped off at the dock at The Office Bar/Grill we could walk anywhere in town due to the close proximity of the property. For those of you, like myself, wondering if the property is too far from town- it's not. Basically, if they picked up the property and moved it 1 mile East they would be right in the middle of the Central Park in the heart of San Pedro. We loved that we could be in the hustle and bustle of town but then go back to the villa and have total privacy - away from it all. The snorkelling was amazing - Corrina hooked us up with a Catamaran Day Sail and Cave Tubing. We got to swim with Turtles, Nurse Sharks, , Sting Rays, and Manatees!! Best holiday ever - hands down!!

The house is beautiful!

Had a great time in San Pedro, Belize City and other locations. Dino was amazing!! The house is absolutely beautiful. We did not realize that one of the bedrooms does not have air conditioning or its own bathroom. Also washing machine is in another location, not in the house itself. Those were our only surprises.

Seriously, stay here!

Our stay at Villla One was simply fabulous! In our 10 years of renting vacation homes over spring break, this was easily the best service our two families have ever received at one of the most beautiful homes we have ever rented. Even before we officially booked our week, Corrina was amazing with her information on the house and island. Once we arrived, Corrina, Dino and Armando were great to our families. Corrina helped arrange all of our excursions including a spur of the moment snorkeling trip with Tony that was awesome! We rented golf carts for the week via Corrina, and that, too, worked out perfectly. It seemed like Dino never slept, as he was always busy making sure our stay was exceptional. Armando, too, was there whenever we called him for a lift to or from our perfect "private" island retreat. The house was clean, well stocked with needed household items and comfortable. We highly recommend grocery service - we used what Corrina recommended with no regrets. Our teenage kids (and the adults as well) loved hanging out by the pool and beach with Foxy and Chica, Dino's dogs who are both super sweet and good soccer players. We recommend Blue Water Grill, Casa Picasso, and Caramba! for dinner -- and yummy drinks. The Palapa Bar up north is a great spot for lunch or just a drink over the water. The Office Bar and Restaurant from where we were picked up to head to the house has awesome drinks, good food and great people - we would go back just for this place alone! This house was perfect for our two families with four adults and 3 young teenagers - it might not be perfect for very young children or the very elderly because of the dock, tiled pool deck and floors, and spiral staircase. We seriously cannot say enough about this beautiful home, Corrina, Dino and Armando. If you are thinking about Ambergris Caye, you should stay at this home. Lastly, we took both the ferry and the local airline to and from Belize City -- and flying is well worth the few extra bucks. (Did I mention Corrina helped us set up our flight back to the Belize City airport at the last minute - she is great and feels like a long, lost member of the family.) Thanks to all for an amazing spring break 2015!

Stunning property!

Upon arrival we were met by Corrina and taken over to our water taxi. Upon pulling up at our property we were met by our caretaker Dino who assisted us with our luggage. The property is exactly as the posted picture. The house is very clean and very nice with a wading pool in front. The stunning sunsets and the peace and serenity over here was unbelievable. We had a total of 7 of us in our group and the house accommodated us with no problems. The rooms are spacious. The house has a great set-up. Our caretaker Dino is an amazing guy and an absolute joy. He's awake before you in the early mornings cleaning and working around the property and up until long after you are asleep. If you leave the house and happen to leave a dish in the sink he will have it cleaned and put away before your return. Corrina also was so hospitable and helpful in every way. She made our day trips unforgettable and booked us with the right companies. The island is relatively private so if you are seeking seclusion you have it. It's a short water taxi ride (maybe 5 minutes). We had a great time and all 7 of us would return in a heartbeat to this property and this location. Some things to know if you rent the larger house it does have a "wading pool only" it is not a swim able. Corrina makes sure you have a daily water taxi included in your rate. If you do a second trip you will pay about $20.00 US per trip. The golf cart rentals even though Corrina was all over them and confirming and reconfirming our rentals they aren't going to work on your time so be patient. Corrina is amazing and has a wealth of knowledge about tour operators etc. If you aren't on a budget she can book the best day trips. The lobster and fishing trip was absolutely fantastic which Corrina booked for us. The reef is so beautiful and the snorkeling and diving is a must do. One evening we asked our caretaker to get us some fresh fish. Not only did he get us the fresh fish, but he helped us cook it. Dino also helped the kids find fresh coconuts and helped them get them open. Great trip!

Stunning

This stunning property was a lovely stay. A private island, with a private dock. Beautiful interior with many bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen and draped in travertine! Private pool to lounge outside at night. Having travelled extensively thru Belize, San Pedro is the most beautiful island to visit. I came for the blue hole and to dive the barrier reef. There were many five star dive shops on the island to accommodate my dive goals. Coming back home to this stunning property turned the vacation from great to spectacular! Being able to cook meals and enjoy the private pool and view rounded out a great trip to ambergris:) thank you Corrina for being an amazing host! I look forward to my next visit

An amazing vacation on la isla Bonita!

Vacation began amazingly with Corrina our host greeting us at the airport with all the details planned out for our luggage and a much needed post travel visit to a local establishment on the water for some tasty ceviche and refreshments before boarding a boat to cross the lagoon where the houses are located..and what an incredible view crossing over. Dino the caretaker was waiting at the dock to assist with our luggage while Corrina got us settled in. Everything in the house was very comfortable and clean and it made it hard for us to leave for our dives the next day as the house was very relaxing and peaceful. Corrina helped us arrange our excursions around the island with local and professional guides and was a great help to accomodate our needs. Definitely recommend the lobster and fishing trip followed by a beach bbq. San Pedro is a cute little Caribbean town with a bunch of great places to eat. Ramon's, Caroline's, Estelle's for breakfast and Hidden treasures just to name a few. Everything was perfect and it was hard to leave and look forward to returning to stay here again. Thank you Corrina for being a great host and putting together a great trip.
