About this property

18 Acre Vermont Farm With Mountain View Near Stowe

Welcome to our New England farm with 18 acres of hiking trails, a pond, horses and pastures. We are very close to Stowe and several other ski mountains, down the hill from the exquisite Lake Elmore and right in the midst of the most gorgeous foliage colors Mother Nature has to offer. We are also across the street from access to the VAST trails for those wishing to snowmobile or hike in the summer. Every season is magical in Vermont.

Four bedrooms, en suite primary with 2 additional full baths. Well appointed kitchen, sunlit living room, huge mudroom as you walk in and laundry in the basement.

Guests have complete access to the house and the grounds. They will not have access to the barn which is where the family stays when they are visiting. If they are in town they will be very respectful of your privacy.

I have several rental properties and I have found it is best if guests know I am available, but not intrusive. If I can help make your stay better, please reach out and I will do everything in my power to make your time in my home magical.

In the woods high up a mountain with amazing views and complete privacy.

You will need a car and snow tires in the winter. I'm in a very private area up a mountain.

There are 2 horses, a donkey and a mini horse at the farm. They are extremely friendly and love carrots. Feel free to love them, but we do not ride them and they cannot be fed anything except carrots. The fences are electric and they are on. Please beware. When you rent our home you acknowledge you are taking full responsibility for any injuries, etc. Owner is held harmless for any accident/injury. The donkey protects the horses and cannot tell the difference between a bobcat and a poodle. Please keep your dogs on leash and remember these are large animals and need to be respected.
Please do not go in the barn. It is under construction and not safe.

Excellent Escape to Rural Vermont

This was an excellent escape to connect with nature. Kimberly is a superb host who timely answered our questions and met all our needs. The property was amazing. Perfect fall color experience and views. Kids enjoyed gathering the eggs each morning as well as feeding the horses. Was close enough Stowe and attractions to visit there, but away from the crowds in the Stowe Area. Would definitely stay again.

Great Vermont Farmhouse

The host was great and very quick with responses. The house is cozy, warm, and nicely decorated. The property is beautiful. We stayed 4 nights but still didn't have time to explore the acreage. It is secluded but still close enough to get to Stowe and Burlington in a decent amount of time.

Peaceful

We were attending a conference nearby. We did not have much time to look around the property or the general area, but it was very quiet and the house is lovely.
