Albion Little River Farmhouse: peaceful country retreat
Escape for a peaceful country retreat at our Mendocino farmhouse, on the sunny side of the road. Located just a 10 minute drive southeast of the village of Mendocino and minutes from some of the finest coastal dining on the coast. Come experience the tranquil quiet, clean air, and rejuvenation of nature here.
The space
Two story farmhouse with master bedroom downstairs and adjacent full bath, and attic bedroom upstairs with two twin beds (combining into one) and half bath. Complete country farmhouse experience with toasty wood stove, full kitchen (no microwave), bathtub, deck and outdoor seating. Beautifully appointed, with a Zen-like quality. We are located in the sun, just over the fog line on the Mendocino coast, a big perk on cold foggy days!
Guest access
The entire farmhouse and immediate grounds surrounding are all the guest's domain.
Other things to note
Please note there are no doors on entry to bedrooms, if extreme privacy is an issue.
The stairs are steep and narrow leading to the second floor, and are not suitable for children under 8 years old or the elderly.
The farmhouse is located on 7 acres that is shared with my cabin on the far side of the property, which I occupy part time. There is ample space and privacy surrounding both structures and I request that we all respect it.

De eigenaar
I am a native of Mendocino and returned 7 years ago after being gone attending college and exploring. My parents started one of the first bed and breakfast inns on the coast in 1977 and it remained our family business until 2001. A love of hosting runs in the family and I created the Albion Farmhouse on our family property where I live so that family and friends may continue to stay there and we can share this special place with a larger community.
Wat deze accommodatie uniek maakt
The Albion Farmhouse and seven acres was purchased by my father in 1968 just before he met my mother. He renovated it himself and it was the first design and building of many to follow. My parents went on to open Glendeven Inn - one of the first bed and breakfasts on the coast. The property has remained in our family, fondly called "Albion" for as long as I can remember.
