This place is cute, sweet, and clean. It is a great place to stay and wish I had more time in the room.

This property was very clean and well maintained. We especially appreciated the generous square footage, the full kitchen, and separation of the living and sleeping areas.
We stayed at the “Time Travel Inn” for an unexpected family need. Instead of staying in Antigo, we opted for a chance to stay in the town of Birnamwood. We loved the holiday decorations, the cozy decor, the chance to eat at Chet and Emil’s, and the delicious bakerygoods we grabbed in the morning. Do not hesitate to rent this place for your next Northwoods getaway. It’s beyond PERFECT.
Very clean, great communication from host and very cool setup. Thanks again from Heather and Danny we had an awsome weekend! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a small town getaway.
This was the perfect location for our family reunion. The place was clean and decorated with fun objects from past times. It was interesting to just look around and take in the various pictures and memorabilia. It was located right across from a bakery with delicious offerings and Chet & Emil’s which can’t be beat for roasted chicken. A terrific place to stay!
Fantastic lodging in a great area to explore. Lots of adventure nearby, especially for outdoor enthusiasts. Restaurant and bakery across the street. Coffee shop around the corner. Our hosts were also very accommodating , as we had a family emergency we were dealing with during our original planned dates. The ease and comfort (and serenity) were outstanding and we would have loved to stay there a week weather than only two nights. Hope to be back soon.
I love what they did with this place!!! I grew up in the area, and this use to be the old barber shop, so it’s cool to see it turned into a cozy living space.
They kept the country feel , beautiful decorations and pictures of the original shop.
The bed is very very soft and they made sure you have everything you need for a visit.
It’s a very small town, and it’s right next to a cute thrift store , bakery , and coffee shop. I’m pretty impressed with everything.
We stayed mid June and had a wonderful time. The place was clean and well kept. Having coffee available for our first morning was a nice touch and very appreciated. Bed was comfortable and the AC was kept at a perfect temperature. (It was 90 degrees when we were there.) Linens and towels were all provided and extras available if needed. Quiet spot right on Main Street. We enjoyed a nice bike ride through town and morning walks.
Bonus for us personally, Chet & Emil's (across the street) is a family favorite! Best chicken around. Diane's is a great "sweet" spot. If you are considering staying here, check them both out!
Taneal and Jake, are great hosts and couldn't have made our stay any easier! We will be back!
