What a wonderful cabin! So much charm but not overly kitschy. Super comfortable, immaculate, it had everything you would need! Every detail thought of and it felt like we were staying at a friends house. Arielle was quick to respond and was lovely to deal with. Will definitely be coming back!

Awesome year end getaway with my family of 5
The property was amazing and rustic. The fireplace was very warm and welcoming. Great location and place for a family of five. Loved the games and movies. Everyone thought the catwalk was really cool. It was a great place to go skiing. 5-star location and we would highly recommend to anyone else.

A Gem of a Cabin
Couldn't have been more pleased with Moose Pond Cabin. Arielle is gracious and responsive. Description and reviews are 100% accurate. My only criticism is that the entire driveway was a solid sheet of ice. Important to note as well, that there is no cell service. Texting yes! Phone calls no. But if you are looking to unplug and "recharge" I highly recommend!!!
Moose Pond cabin is really lovely, with lots of space for different activities -- a large, comfortable sofa for watching movies, a large dining table for family meals and games, a well-stocked kitchen for cooking, and a cozy, quiet fireplace room for reading and talking. It gave us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a variety of different activities. The only problems we might note are: a very narrow spiral staircase that has the potential to be dangerous (especially at the top where the transition is tricky); a number of small spaces between ceilings, floors, etc. that can make it difficult to have quiet in the bedrooms; and the lack of a door on the bedroom at the end of the upstairs walkway. Knowing these things in advance might be helpful to some (e.g., those with small children)!
One of the best family times we have had. The cabin is a perfect place to relax. Comfortable. Fully stocked in the kitchen. Beds are comfy. Plenty of places to stretch out and read. We did two of the puzzles and played a couple of games. There is cell service and WiFi on the property but no service leading to the home so be sure to have your communication figured out with your travel mates.
The road is rough so be sure to have 4WD in mid or snow season. We got up the road okay in our car, but it was muddy. The third bedroom does not have a door but that didn’t bother us. We couldn’t figure out the TV volume so didn’t watch a movie but lots to choose from!
But all of that is minor. We will definitely come back!

Great Stay at Moose Pond Cabin
Our group of 7 had a great time staying at Moose Pond Cabin during our visit in February 2016. We would recommend it at any time and would love to return back there one day in Summer or Fall. After arrival Owners welcomed us with great warmth, smiles and gave us few pointers what’s where in the area. Lovely Fireplace, Wood Burner and Plenty of fire wood kept us warm and cozy even when temperatures dropped. “Elements” could not break our spirit down, not a chance !!! Cabin, located what seems to be an equal drive (approx. 40-45min) from both Mount Snow and Stratton Mountain Ski Resorts, is also close to many attractions and we could only wish we had more time to enjoy it all. Some can go for long hikes in the woods, others, if preferred, can just relax by the fireplace, finally read this “long overdue” book or play various games - Jenga was our favorite. Although, we’ve started our trip from Mount Snow Area, had delicious breakfast at Dot’s Restaurant in Wilmington, we loved Stratton Mountain Resort a bit better. While some in our group were skiing others enjoyed village Restaurants (recommending Mulligan’s Tavern and its Pull Pork Sandwich/Burgers/ Beer selections), shops and breathtaking view from the top of the mountain. All together a lovely stay
Thank you Kennedy Family....
Had a fabulous experience. The house was appointed to the nines and beyond. Such a fantastic, pitch perfect aesthetic. Exceptionally clean, had everything you could possibly need. Very detailed and thoughtful notes on using the space and exceptionally welcoming. Had such a wonderful experience.
Lovely comfortable safe cabin in the woods.
I worked in Vermont for 3 weeks. I stayed alone and it was wonderful!
All the comforts of home.
Thank you Arielle
Moose Pond Cabin was a perfect weekend getaway for my family. The Cabin is perfect in every way and my kids loved the bridge connecting the upstairs room. It is cozy, welcoming and has everything you need. Our only issue was the weather which no one can control. The road were incredibly muddy so getting o the cabin was a little tricky, but once we were there we were so happy. Cant wait to go back in better weather!
Arielle has done a beautiful job furnishing the cabin. The attention to detail is everywhere! And the lay out, with two living areas, full bathroom both upstairs and downstairs, and bedrooms on both floors, worked really well for two families. The location is ideal - quiet and peaceful, yet near the adorable town of Grafton where there is a market (MKT), a nature center, tubing, trails, and cross country skiing. We also took full advantage of the trails around the property. I'm sure the cabin is amazing in all seasons. We will be back!
Moose Cabin Lodge should be called Magical Amazing Moose Cabin Heaven
The cabin is exquisite, from the original flooring and pieces of the original cabin, to the updated and very well equipped kitchen and bathrooms
The slipper tub with bath salts and candles, very nice linens felt like true pampering in luxury.
Arielle was very quick to respond to any request and the welcome gift was very nice all of the books with local information was very useful.
Only wish we could have stayed longer
Worth every Penny !!
The cabin was warm and cozy with a great stone fireplace and a wood stove. We got 5” of snow while we were there and the driveway was always plowed. Kitchen was fully equipped which was essential since many of the local restaurants were closed or takeout only due to COVID-19. We loved the property and had a great stay.
Arielle was a great host. We stayed in her cabin on a cold and snowy weekend and never left the property. The house had tons of dry firewood and a well-stocked kitchen. Recommend caution and AWD for getting in and out of the driveway in the winter - one car with AWD got stuck twice. Would definitely return!
We absolutely LOVED Moose Pond Cabin! Arielle was a pleasure to work with and she was very accessible, answering any questions that we had. The cabin is so cozy and beautifully decorated. My boys loved their bunk room and thought the bridge to the 2 rooms on the second floor was so cool!
The master bedroom upstairs was gorgeous and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed quality family time, sitting by the fire, playing games, doing puzzles and watching movies.
We will definitely be back!
The cabin is perfect for a secluded quiet get away. Would recommend going during the summer or winter months or if you want a relaxing unplugged vacation the fall is a perfect time. The house is fully equipped with a kitchen with everything you will need for making family dinners at home. Overall was a nice relaxing trip to unwind and unplug.
The cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. The rooms are lovely, the kitchen is well set up, and there are books, games, and puzzles for everyone. It sits on a beautiful piece of land and the outdoor fire pit was a favorite spot. We will be back.
We had such a wonder experience at Moose Pond Cabin. The cabin was very well appointed, with many thoughtful touches. Arielle was a great communicator and host, and we would definitely stay again.
What a wonderful place owned by wonderful people! The minute we arrived at Moose Pond cabin, everything felt perfect. From the decor to the furnishings to the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and fully stocked up fireplace, this was truly the cabin in the woods experience that we had hoped for. We filled our family with great memories, including short hikes to the pond, putting together the puzzles, playing the board games, reading some of the various (all ages) literature, enjoying the multitude of DVDs available, and just relaxing with a drink by the fire. Kid friendly, dog friendly.
This little oasis away from the NYC buzz was absolutely perfect. Every corner of this adorable cabin made our experience that much better. Arielle was super helpful and very responsive as well. We can’t wait to return again soon! Thank you for having us!
Absolutely a place I would go back to. Peaceful decorated with taste and great outdoors close to the property

AMAZING weekend
What an amazing weekend we had! This cabin is perfect and is equipped with everything you would ever need. We are a family of five - three elementary aged kids, along with two dogs. Everyone had ample space and the kids loved having their own bunkbed bedroom. We loved keeping the fire going when we were home (there are two fireplaces to choose from).
You will definitely need four wheel drive to access the property. We enjoyed exploring the grounds - the kids found multiple sledding hills, plus we were able to get out our snow shoes. Stratton Mountain is a 35 min drive, and there is a wonderful outdoor recreational center in Grafton. We enjoyed dinner at Rick's Tavern. We loved it so much we went two nights in a row!
Thank you for sharing your special cabin. We will definitely be back again.

Amazing Place
This home is the perfect cabin getaway. The thought that went into developing the interior of the cabin must have been immense. The fireplace (with plenty of firewood) is beautiful and puts out a lot of heat. It was so relaxing and enjoyable that we didn't want to leave in the morning to go skiing, which is why we were there. Also, we had a significant snow storm and even though the cabin is quite out of the way, we were plowed out in a timely manner. Definitely a five star place.
