Stay in our cozy Maple Syrup Sugarhouse at Butternut Maple Farm

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway at Butternut Maple Farm in the heart of Burton Township right by the Geauga County Fairgrounds University Hospitals Geauga Campus, and just a few miles away from Amish country.

This brand-new smoke-free fully furnished studio apartment is on the top floor of our maple syrup sugarhouse with a gorgeous second floor deck perfect for your morning coffee or to grill out at night.

During sugar season (January through March), come on downstairs for front row seats to watch and/or participate in the making of our award-winning certified organic maple syrup.

This apartment is newly completed with an inviting kitchenette, spacious bathroom, and comfy living room with a large flat screen television.

While visiting, take a walk around our 6.5 acre farm.

Sweet accommodations above the Sugarhouse.

Loved the property and the Sugarhouse. It had everything I needed and was very warm & cozy. I'd love to stay there again the next time I'm in the area.

Can’t recommend this property enough. Easy access to the space and plenty of privacy. Great amenities, location, and value! Renee was a great host, I would love to stay here again.

Rare Treat

We had a relaxing and amazing stay. The room was immaculate and well appointed! Nice porch for an evening drink and morning coffee! Such a unique place to stay right where Ohio Maple syrup is made. Wonderful place. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in July so much we came back in Aug. Fantastic place to stay - very clean and customer oriented. There was a power outage due to a storm, but thanks to their generator it did not impact our stay at all. Thanks for sharing your Sugarhouse for a relaxing stay.

The space was clean, well equipped and private. Our host communicated all the information that we needed for a smooth check in and out. They provided information about the area which was helpful. Comfortable spot if you are visiting the area.

A Hallmark movie stay in the country side!

If you need to stay in Geauga county or the NE Ohio area, this is the spot for you! You truly feel like you are staying in a Hallmark movie while you're in the this quant Maple Sugar House apartment. All amenities are brand new and so nice. The owner was so sweet and even left a little bottle of their maple syrup. The floor even warms up! Great tv size for any spouses or sport loving folks. The bed was actually super comfortable (which I find rare). Overall a 10 out of 10 stars!
