Stayed a week. This is a gem. Location is great, 8 minute walk to the beach and 10 to the Washington street mall. The upstairs apartment is a little small but perfect for 2 or 3 people. The real beauty is the outside deck. There was a picnic table and lounge chairs, perfect for eating or hanging out. I would love to stay here again.
Stayed 8 days in early October. Cozy 2nd floor 2BR apt with a nice deck. Easy walk to several excellent restaurants, pizza joints, a liquor store and the pot shop.

Pretty bare bones 2nd fl apartment. No soap or towels
It was probably a wonderful 20.years ago but needs to be refreshed
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage, the location was perfect for walking to the beach and into town. Lots of good restaurants within a 3 block walk. It smelled very clean when we walked in for the first time. There is only 1 bathroom but there is also 2 outdoor showers you can use & they worked really well. It was like staying at your grandmoms old shore house. There are renters downstairs as well, we never heard them and only saw them 1 time, but that’s something to keep in mind.
Other than the weather (Gail force winds) we glad a great stay in Cape May. The house was clean and comfortable and any easy walk from many local shops and restaurants. Be sure to bring sheets, blankets, comforters, and all towels including beach, bath, hand, and dish towels. Our only complaint was that there is no indoor table for dining ad cards—only tray tables, coffee table, and outdoor picnic table. The outdoor shower was nice to have.
It was the worst time I have ever had on a short vacation. We went to Cape May to visit a sick sister in law and had to put up with freezing at night and climbing 14 steps when leaving and 14 steps coming at the age of 87 and 84, not good. We should have been told what to expect when we got there. Maybe if we knew we would have not booked, very poor communication. Never again will we use Vrbo.We only stayed 2nights instead of the 3 we paid for.I hope to hear back from you!!!
Owner needs to upgrade tv. Not many stations and not clear. We also didn’t know someone was in the 1st floor. Kind of scared us when we heard noises downstairs
Got away with wife for long weekend in the fall. The place is as described no surprises. Superb location in a quiet neighborhood. Spartan and a little worn but it was just right for us. I would definitely come back. Thank you.
My friend and I traveled to Cape May to do three days of bird watching. The Congress St. location could not have been more perfect for all the spots we wanted to visit. The house was clean. Nothing fancy which was just fine because we were there to bird watch and were gone all day. It was just right Simple and cozy. Thank-you!
The property location is great…within short walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. The cottage is on a quiet street, and has a nice outdoor porch with easy check-in. We have visited Cape May many times and are never disappointed. We weren’t able to get away for a full week this year, due to other commitments, but Edward was great at accommodating us for a shorter stay.
I really enjoyed my stay at this cottage! West Cape May is a little quieter, which I really like and yet easy walking to the busier area. We walked to the beach everyday, which was easy with the beach cart provided. There are several great dining options around the corner as well as bike rentals. We had a great week!
We had great fun in the beautiful Cape May- beaches, biking, kayaking, jet skiing, and parasailing! Then at night we walked around town and had amazing meals at the local restaurants. Ed was a considerate host, we will be back!
We had an amazing stay at Edward’s place. It was a nice little second floor cottage with a very relaxing porch. The walk was super easy to the beach and we were given 3 passes for beach access. Edward gave us some terrific recommendations for food and things to do nearby. We loved coffee shop a block away as well. Overall, it was an awesome visit.
My wife and I were looking for an economical place to stay for a quick visit to Cape May. This second floor cottage put us in a neighborhood in walking distance to good restaurants, a coffee shop and shopping. We had great weather so we were also able to enjoy the outdoor space. The cottage is as advertised, small, spartan, a little basic and could benefit from some upgrades. But it was as advertised. No trick photograph or deceptive descriptions. The host was readily available and it met our needs.
We have an annual friends reunion and often stay in Cape May for the charm and proximity of great restaurants/shops. Ed was super! Very accommodating. The location of this site was a bit west of what we are used to. We absolutely LOVED the area! We were able to explore new restaurants and shops yet were within walking distance of Washington Square mall area.
The place was super clean and just the right size for a party of 4! Would absolutely stay again!!
Nice quaint cottage in a great location in the heart of Cape May. Peaceful area. Excellent dining option across the street and an awesome breakfast spot vey close by. Ed was very accommodating and called us to make sure all was well. Thanks Ed!
