Brad grew up on the Connecticut shoreline and met Hillary soon after college (go Huskies!). They love bringing their young family back to enjoy the beauty of the Long Island Sound during all seasons of the year -- summertime is always a favorite, but the serenity of the wintertime beaches draws them back time and time again!
Why they chose this property
From the moment you step into Summersalt, you'll feel the quintessential charm and character of a New England shoreline retreat. Well-equipped with all the comforts of home, including a king-sized bed in the primary bedroom, a Sleep Number queen bed in the secondary bedroom, and everything you'll need to cook for your group. Catch glimpses of the water from the second floor and stroll to it in just minutes. The activities in Madison are endless, from running and hiking trails to wineries and breweries just a short drive away.
What makes this property unique
Summersalt is nestled in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just minutes from I-95. With easy access to the Long Island Sound, you can take a stroll on the beach in the morning, paddle your kayak around the Madison shore by day, and watch the sunset in the evening. The nautical-themed bunk room, complete with portholes in the bunks and beanbags nestled into a reading corner, is a family favorite. Kids of all ages are delighted by the custom swings at the kitchen counter!
