About this property

Follow a private path to access the covered dock located in Fishers Cove at Pomme de Terre Lake! The private dock slip is 28' and can be used free of charge while renting the Lake Woods Retreat. A swim ladder is attached to the dock next to the dock slip. Concrete boat ramp is just a few hundred feet away from the dock.
The living space is approximately 2000 sq feet and is set up to comfortably accommodate eight people. Enjoy a completely updated, spacious three bedroom, two bathroom property with eat-in kitchen, large living area, and bonus second level game room/office space. Each bedroom features a queen size bed. The living room offers two sofas, one of which is a queen sleeper sofa. One exciting feature of this property is a drive-thru garage with plenty of room to park your vehicle and/or boat inside. Property is over one and one half acres with a circle drive and ample parking for vehicles outside. Outdoor wooded space has a patio with a seating/dining area. Located in a quiet neighborhood next to Corps of Engineers lake property, this is feels like a retreat!

Everything you could want in a home away from home!

This lake retreat is amazing. The owners put a lot of thought and care into this property. Everything down to the tiny details have been thought through! We had a miscommunication with our own family on who was bringing what and thanks to the owners thinking ahead it was zero issue. Lucky for us there was pizza, water, and snacks for us to have. This place is clean, peaceful, well decorated, and well stocked with premium items, and lacks for nothing. The dock was fantastic, and the boat ramp easy to get to. Swimming was superb and the lake was quiet even on the weekend. The lake house was a short 600 feet away from the house with a gentle incline so even our elderly parents could get up and down easily. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such an amazing trip and anniversary weekend.

Large Family Lake Getaway

We really loved the place. There is everything you need there and plenty of room for everyone. Very convenient to the lake. The place is gorgeous, well landscaped and the large garage is awesome to play cornhole as well as room for your boat and vehicle. We do recommend using Repel insect repellent b/4 entering the woods as well as out in the yard area. We love this place and would come back again when coming to Pomme de Terre Lake. Thanks

Above expectations!

The house is so inviting and comfortable! The kitchen was awesome! It has everything you need and more for a relaxing family trip! With the nearby dock on the calm Pomme de Terre Lake, it so convenient and perfect for fishing, swimming and boating.

Fantastic getaway!!!

Amazing property in a beautiful setting. The listing information & pictures don't do this vrbo justice. Not only is this retreat beautifully decorated & extremely comfortable, it is the most accommodating vrbo that we have ever stayed in. Also the cleanest! We felt very at home & the boat slip definitely added convenience to our laid back weekend! Deanna was very helpful & provided immediate response to all of our questions. We would highly recommend this property & hope to go back soon!

Great Place on Pomme de Terre

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully landscaped property and very comfortable accommodations for relaxing and having fun creating memories. Extremely well stocked kitchen with a griddle and grill available. The hosts seemed to have thought of every possible item we might need for cooking. The boat dock was in a great location with access to a boat ramp nearby. Great location for a family get together with plenty of space and a variety of things to do. I absolutely loved this property. Thank you.

Awesome lake property

The house was very clean and extremely nice. Well stocked with anything you need for your stay. Quiet dead end road and a sweet dock on the lake to use. 10/10 will be staying again in the future!
