Beautiful cabin

The cabin was cozy and the perfect quiet getaway. The loft bed was comfortable and I appreciated both the extra blankets and portable AC. Enjoyed the peacefulness and wildlife sightings.

peaceful

This beautiful property has a private gated entrance a long driveway to the cabin so if you want to be secluded and have privacy, this is it! We had a great time walking the property. It has a firepit to sit and enjoy the going down and sitting by the fire roasting marshmallows! The cabin is adorable very cozy and clean. It was a little nervous with the stairs to the loft, but it was no big deal has the bunk beds and a fouton couch bed as well it has just about anything you might need as far as a pot, pan and dishes.. the owners are very friendly and were very accommodating. We definitely will be going again!!

Quick weekend trip

Our youngest wanted to camp for her birthday leading us to this quiet, little cabin conveniently located. I usually don’t do reviews because I know my OCD creates over the top standards around cleanliness… I sense every germ lol. I walked into this place and did my normal inspection to be impressed at every angle. The home smelt clean upon entering, bedding was all great, bathroom clean and in good repair. The well water was different for us but not impactful. There was an easy trail around the property. Overall, best stay we have had from a vacation rental site. Will be returning in the summer.

Cabin comfort

Amazing place to stay. Easy access to interstates, wonderful food at Donna's place in Toledo! This cabin is set up with everything you need for cooking, relaxing or even a little hike around the property. Location felt like we were in the middle of the Forrest! ❤️❤️❤️

Lovely oasis

A beautiful cabin and peaceful get-away. Secluded and close to the road, and close enough to the interstate, yet very quiet.

Cozy and private.

We loved the peaceful stay away from the city. Almost 100 degrees outside during our stay but inside it was perfect inside. The only downside was the county burn ban.

Peaceful Getaway

I’ve been in search of a rental that is secluded, in the woods, preferably a cabin and welcomes dogs. This house checked all the boxes. The pictures and description of the home is accurate. This is a tiny home, that was beautifully built in a clearing in the woods. It has absolutely no immediate neighbors so it is very private. There were short trails around the property and a large field, in front of the property. Providing my pooch and I with enjoyable morning and evening walks. There is a full size bathroom. The shower would be considered small, but considering the size of the house, it was expected and posed no difficulties. The kitchen is stocked with the basics. It offers a full size fridge and a small stove with an oven. I brought premade meals anticipating that cooking might have limitations. The one bedroom has bunk beds. Providing a few chairs. A small desk, a place to hang clothes (hangers provided) and a luggage rack. There is a small window above the desk that has a pull down blind. Closing the blind makes the room very dark. (Was wonderful taking a nap in the room) there is also a wall heater that works beautifully. There is a full size futon couch that converts to a bed. Very comfortable. And the main living area also had a wall heater. (Again it worked beautifully) There is another full size bed in the loft, but I’m a bit older and didn’t have the courage to go up and down the ladder. (The ladder did have railings on both sides. Nice touch) The porch is fantastic. Because it’s covered so I could still sit outside with the slight rain, and enjoy the scenery. The nearest grocery store is in the small town of Toledo. (Just a few miles from the cabin) It’s a small grocery store so the prices are a bit high, but convenient for picking up a few items. The drive was only 1 hour from Vancouver. Right off I-5. But set away from the freeway. Because it’s so quiet at the house. You can just barely hear the traffic off in the distance, when you’re outside. I’d say it was no louder than a windy day. And you can’t hear it at all inside the house. I had to contact the host, because I’d inadvertently locked myself out. Not realizing the door was locked when I went out for my morning walk. He responded to me immediately. And a gracious nearby relative had a key to let me back in. The solitude and simplicity was perfect for unplugging and decompressing from everyday hectic life. I’ve been looking for a rental like this for several years and now that I’ve found, I plan on making this a regular getaway. For me…it was perfect.
