At Blue Parrot Cottage, countless unforgettable memories have been made. We’ve hosted amazing guests and together we’ve formed wonderful friendships and shared thrilling adventures for over 15 years!
Our Home
Get ready for an incredible family getaway in our cozy two-bedroom, two-bathroom beach house, with a private heated pool. We comfortably accommodate 6, and it’s just a quick two-minute stroll from our driveway to the beach walkover. Nature lovers will adore our beautiful location next to Draper Lake, perfect for a peaceful retreat. Our home is thoughtfully equipped with all the comforts of home, along with delightful extras! Whether you want to lounge by the pool, listen to the soothing sounds of the waves, or soak in a gorgeous sunset, our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed for your enjoyment. If cooking is your thing, you can whip up meals in our well-appointed kitchen, grill up some goodies outdoors, or explore the amazing dining options along scenic 30A—there’s an exciting culinary adventure awaiting you!
Outdoor Space
Set on a corner lot that spans a generous 1/3 acre, our property features tropical landscaping, an irrigation system, and your very own sparkling 13' by 26' heated pool! We’ve got comfy outdoor furniture, along with pool floats and toys, to make your stay more enjoyable. The pool is exclusively yours—a refreshing oasis just steps from your front door. Need a little extra warmth? Pool heating is available for an additional $50 per day between March and October upon request.
What’s Included?
During your stay, enjoy our 65" TV for family movie nights, complete with a DVD player and a selection of films. Relax on the oversized sectional sofa with our collection of books and games. Get a great night's sleep on our comfy mattresses—1 king, 1 queen, and 2 twins with plush duvets and two additional 42" TVs. Gather around the dining table or breakfast bar, and make use of our coffee maker, Keurig, grinder, toaster, electric griddle, blender, beater, food processor, juicer, and slow cooker. We also provide beach essentials like towels, chairs, umbrellas, and pool floats to keep you comfortable. *Please use only dye-free fragrance-free laundry detergents, and avoid laundry pods, chlorine bleach, and dryer sheets. Beach Access
You’ll love how easy it is to get to the beach, just a lovely two-minute walk from the house to the Gulfview Heights Beach Access. No parking issues, busy roads or traffic to navigate here! At the beach access point, enjoy the convenience of restrooms, outdoor showers, a covered picnic pavilion, and a BBQ grill for your cravings.
Dune Lakes
Between Draper Lake and the beach lies the stunning Draper Lake, showcasing a unique ecosystem to explore. Did you know that Walton County is home to 15 Coastal Dune Lakes? These remarkable natural wonders can only be found in a few places around the world, so make sure to take the time to experience them during your stay!
