Quick Fishing Trip

This place was perfect for my husband and I. We took a quick trip to do a little fishing, so the location was great. Loved that it was tucked away off the main road. It was very comfortable, very clean, very quiet, and I loved the artwork around the cabin. This would be a great place for a multi family vacation with all the different cabins. Will most definitely come back to this place again!

Snowmobile Trip

The cabin is perfect for 2 people. We stayed a couple of days to snowmobile. The trail is right at the end of the driveway which was perfect. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had. The parking was a little tight but we managed. We hope to be back again.

Great peaceful spot!

This is our second time staying here. It is the perfect little getaway for me and the kids. The boats are great, fishing is wonderful and the water is refreshing. The property is clean and well cared for!

Quiet Retteat

The cabin was perfect for our needs. It had a small kitchen with a full oven and microwave. There was a sitting area; behind it, the bed. The place was clean and very cutely decorated. I would stay again

Amazing weekend!

The cottage was lovely - actually better than I expected compared to other cottages that I've stayed at that were more "rustic". Entered to a very clean scent and everything was great. Loved the individual fire pits. We didn't get to use the boats or paint rocks (rock painting kit included in the cottage!) but next time (and there will be a next time!) for sure!

Autumn Lake Retreat

We were looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet place to stay between a few fishing charters we booked in Pulaski. This cabin was so much more than we expected. It was easy to get to, and the views over autumn lake in the evening were spectacular! We were so grateful for private dock space. This really is a gem. Thank you for having us.

Relaxing weekend get away

The cottage is cute, clean and just perfect for a couple! It has everything you need, except the food, of course!! The only issue we had; which wasn't really an issue, we blew a fuse and it was reset right away. The only suggestion to the owners would be to put blinds in the little windows to keep the morning daylight from waking you early!! We really enjoyed the peaceful, relaxing time we had!

Great place for a short stay

The property was good for our use. We used the lake a few times and was very enjoyable. Property had a musty smell that was unpleasant, but overall was OK. Property needs updating, tile in bathroom to control water from shower, front door and rear slider sticks a bit, needs an island with 2 seats instead of table will allow for more prep space when cooking. Gas stove would be nice, it was hard to cook on electric stove. Overall nice space, nice little area around cabins, good access to lake activities.

Another relaxing visit to Autumn Lake

I'm glad I decided to come back. I enjoyed the same calm and relaxing atmosphere I had last year. It looks like several upgrades have been made to organize the beach area and so it accomidates larger groups and is inviting for people to come and relax throughput the day. I spent my time on the water and enjoyed meeting a few other guests around the lake. I do avoid going to town, despite the excitement of someone else's post. I'd recommend not giving that 'signs' guy any attention.

Perfect Eclipse Mini-Vacay

We originally happened upon this cabin when looking for a spot in which we’d be able to view the total eclipse. What we received was so much more! Not only is the natural beauty and opportunities for hiking beyond our expectations, so was the cabin and surrounding property. Autumn Lake is exquisite, and the cabin had everything we needed, an equipped kitchen, warmth from the fireplace, and a comfortable mattress. When we found that the Dutch oven was missing, Brian, the property manager, immediately brought one by. Many boats were available on the lake, and a kayak allowed for a fun trip to a beaver dam. The only thing I can think of that might have added to the comfort and ease of the well appointed and furnished cabin would have been some hooks for coats, towels, and bathrobes. I’m hoping that we find an opportunity to return one day!

Great Little Spot for Cozy Getaway

We had plans cancel on us at the last moment so we decided since we had made all of the accommodations for our kids and pets to be taken care of for the weekend that we wouldn't waste the opportunity to have some Mommy/Daddy alone time. So we found this little gem on VRBO and we were both very happy with it. It was easy to find, clean and the check in and out process was great. Unlike the add stated, the internet was excellent and it was much better equipped then we thought it would be. We sat at the beach in the morning and had our coffee on the dock, it was very relaxing. A very nice place for a weekend getaway with the spouse. NOTE: for Canadians or anyone else that is not from the US looking to take in the entire American experience, dont miss the full on lunacy on display about 5km away from the cabin in the middle of the town in Altamar. There is some crazy there who has an absolute gong show of signs along his property that had us laughing our heads off. The site would make the craziest of crazies blush
