My husband, three siblings and I stayed here for a family reunion which was in the park right across the street. It was a perfect location and the cottage was perfect for our visit to Muscoda. Highly recommend.
Quick trip for my family reunion (right across from the park we had it at). Owner was very responsive to questions whether through VRBO or over the phone (returned my call super quick when needed help w/ TV).
The house was great for our 1 night. Open floor plan worked well for the kids and our lab. House was clean and in good repair, but bathroom could use some updating. Neighborhood was quiet and park and river were across the street. Would be nice for a summer stay also.
The house was easy to get to and close to the river. There is beauty all around. Its also a great house if you want to stop to see House on the Rock. It also had everything we needed to cook meals and hang out and relax.

Four of us went to the area to attend American Players Theatre and found this an excellent plage to stay! It was convenient, great value, and comfortable. We will be back!
House was everything you wanted and needed. Played in a Fast Pitch tournament in Blue River so the house location was good plus everything we needed was in town.
No smoke alarms. Bed to soft. Coffe maker insufficient doesn’t work right coffee there was old. Appreciated being able to get in early. The cabin was very clean though.
Our family needed a place to stay overnight, something with several bedrooms, and we wanted space to relax/hang out together for the evening. We were there midweek and the neighborhood was quiet, just a short walk down to the river for skipping rocks and walking a paved trail. Clean & comfortable with room to make breakfast before hitting the road. Thanks Barbara!
