Do not stay at this property! Our issues started immediately when we didn’t get instructions to get into the house. The host did get back to me, but it took a couple of hours.
I booked this property because of the pool and hot tub. We were disappointed to find the pool covered and the hot tub drained (with no disclaimer of this when booking a property advertised as “beautiful home with pool”.
The home is very well lived in. The house was clean’ish except for the bathrooms. One of them had a sink full of fried toothpaste and spit. We also found bugs in the living room. The entire house was very dark. Each bedroom had only 2 very flat pillows. The air conditioner was so loud we had to close the bedroom doors to sleep which made the bedrooms uncomfortably hot. Early in the morning the fire detectors started beeping. The whole place was a disappointment.
I contacted the owner to provide feedback, but heard nothing back from them.
We’ve come to expect well accommodated homes. This one is not. At this price point I would expect a couple of waters in the fridge, soap in the bathrooms, or even wash rags for showering. The property has so much potential, but there was absolutely no effort put into making it a comfortable stay for guests.
