About this property

Our cabin is the original homestead home fully furnished with knotty pine paneling and antiques. Located on a private ranch surrounded by two acres of lawn and summer swimming pond with covered deck. We raise all natural beef on the ranch which is available for purchase to our clients. Cabin is clean and cozy - we do the cleaning!

Close to recreation areas: 10 minutes to Bend, 30 to Mt. Bachelor and mountain lakes, 20 minutes to High Desert Museum, 10-30 minutes to various recreation locations along the Deschutes River, 30 minutes to Lava Tubes and Lava Lands Visitor Center, 20 minutes to Smith Rock State Park, 25 minutes to Sisters and Black Butte, 45 minutes to Ochoco National Forest.

Perfect for getting away from the city to a quiet country setting. Gaze at clear, star-filled nights while being serenaded by coyotes. Games, puzzles, extensive old record collection (60's to 80's), relaxing hammock, and property for taking long walks.

State wrestling weekend

Cozy cabin!

Cabin was just what we needed! The hosts were wonderful, supplying us with plenty of wood to keep us warm. Record player was a fun touch as well. Bed was super comfy!! Will come stay again :)

Very charming place

This place was perfect for a laid back family vacation. It was quiet clean place that had interesting pieces of history as its decor. Very accommodating host. We would like to revisit this place when we have more time.

It rustic

This is an old property that you share with others the owner caretaker lived in a different building as did other guests They had a pond for swimming but it was not really appealing. Kids would love it

This is my most favorite VRBO stay ever!

My family and I loved this property so much. The rustic cabin and antique features is the way I love to spend down time. The place had absolutely everything you could want or need. My husband really especially liked the vinyl selection and we listened to lots of great tunes during our stay.The property is charming and the pond and rock house are extra cool features we enjoyed. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and we will definitely be back and book here anytime we'll be around Bend.

Mix up about cabin

We loved the property, cabin was cute, hosts were great. Only one problem, I did not get the cabin that I reserved almost six months ago. We were “bumped” from a two bedroom ( the only listing) to a one bedroom, no dishwasher, record player, or second bedroom! My friend and I are in our late sixties, and were planning on sleeping in beds. Found this out when we arrived at check in. When asked about this, the host apologized, but no explanation, no discount for the smaller cabin. We managed, but mostly because we were stuck, nowhere else to go, there for our 50th class reunion. A little disappointed, to say the least.

Great ranch to visit with lots of history.

The ground were green and beautiful. The owner was friendly and shared some of his historical knowledge. Of special interest was the stone sheep herders cabin that has been preserved as it was in the day.

Peaceful stay by the Farm

My Family and I stopped here for one night on our way between San Francisco and Portland, but we all wished we could have stayed longer! The location was beautiful and peacefully sat just outside of Bend. The house was ever so charming with its rustic interior and gorgeous exterior. We loved the wood stove outside, sitting under the stars and I loved the clawfoot tub and outdoor shower! Plus, waking up and taking a walk to see the cows was lovely. We would absolutely book here again!

Charming working ranch with thoughtful hosts.

We really enjoyed the Antiques and the record collection! We were only overnight but we want to bring the rest of the family for a weekend in bend. This rustic ranch stay was exactly what we were looking for!

Great spot just outside of Bend

This was a great spot for us to crash on our cross-country road trip. Madeline was a great host, easy to communicate with, and helped us find our way around the property! We loved the outdoor shower and sitting on the patio in the evening. We would happily stay again when passing through the Bend area.
