Guest Access:
We have street parking and a paid parking lot directly across the street. We live in a friendly and tucked away neighborhood, minutes from downtown, but with very little "city noise". There are lots of young families and elderly neighbors who we love to have as our neighbors and hope you will too during your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Germantown has unique character with it's historic charm and is easily accessible to all parts of the downtown area.
It boasts some of the best restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, murals, bars and brewery in the city!
Everything is walkable in Germantown on the lovely brick sidewalks; however if preferred, scooters, bikes and ride shares are readily available.
Browse the historic and quaint shop lined streets. Take in a baseball game at First Horizon Park. See a music concert at Brooklyn Bowl or the Back Corner. Explore BiCentennial State Park including the TN State Museum and State Library, Nashville Farmers Market and unobstructed Capital Building views. If your feeling adventurous, hike the north stairs to view it up close.
Lower Broadway/2nd Ave, the Riverfront/Ascend Amphitheater, Marathon Music Works, Bridgestone Arena, Ryman Auditorium and Nissan Titans stadium are all less than 2 miles away. The Gulch, Midtown, Vanderbilt/Belmont, Wedgewood/Houston, 12th South, and East Nashville neighborhoods are all within a short 10-15 minute drive.
Getting Around:
Germantown is a very walkable neighborhood! However, if you are looking to get across the city, there are plenty of options!
There are still taxis available as well as ride shares such as Lyft and Uber. Electric scooters like Lime, Bird, Jump and Lyft are generally prevalent and Bicycles (B cycles) are also available to rent, with a docking station on the corner of 5th and Madison. The metro buses have stops within walking distance on both Rosa Parks Ave and Jefferson St, and there is a free city loop that has stops in BiCentennial Park.
Other Things to Note:
Smoking Fee: $250 and Excessive Cleaning charges $250! If Towels and Bedsheets are left damaged it will be charged double price.
