Location and Luxury!

This quintessential Santa Barbara Spanish Style Beach Home is conveniently located Just 2 blocks from one of Santa Barbara’s most popular beaches, West Beach, and 2 blocks from State Street shopping and restaurants . This home has been completely remodeled from floor to ceiling with all of the latest amenities. Luxury is at your fingertips from the gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and terracotta tile to the back yard patio with comfortable outdoor furniture. Enjoy outdoor living with the BBQ, outdoor shower, and Spa all surrounded among the grapefruit and lemon trees.

There are three bedrooms and three full baths to accommodate up to six guests. The master bedroom hosts a luxurious king size bed and an attached bathroom. The second guest room also has an attached bathroom with a queen size bed and the third bedroom with twin bunk beds has a wonderful view of the back yard patio. Full disclosure: our place may not be the best for 3 couples (who get's the bunk beds). Also, I don't mean to be rude, but please don't inquire if you have more than 6 guests (total). Kids and infants etc are considered guests.

The wide open living area combines the living room, dining area, and kitchen creating the perfect platform. We have a full house water filtration system as well. Please do not request rental days shorter than required on the Web site. Thank you.

Wow and double wow!

We stayed here (a family with two teenage girls) for four nights as part of our California road trip and were blown away by the property and its location. This is a super stylish, modern, comfortable home, set in a quiet residential area just a couple of blocks from Santa Barbara's stunning beach - and very close to State Street (for shopping and night life.) The property's has a small garden, nicely landscaped and sunny for breakfast and most of the afternoon. The property comes with a selection of bikes, which we used to cruise the cycle way/promenade that runs the length of the beach - we loved feeling part of Santa Barbara's laid-back beach life style and didn't use our hire car for the whole stay. We were hugely impressed when Jeff – the owner – contacted us about some unanticipated construction work taking place opposite the property – his honesty and offer of a discount meant this wasn't an issue. We'd love to visit again (and again).

Amazing location, good vibes!

What a great property! Owner really takes great efforts to make the stay pleasant and to keep the property ship-shape. The location is fantastic. Moreover, we had a minor issue come up while there and the owner promptly addressed it.

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful stay at this home! It was extremely clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to Moxie, the children’s museum, and lots of great restaurants. The neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful, making it a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. We’d definitely stay here again!

Wonderful house near the beach and town

Wonderfully well appointed house near both the beach and downtown. House came with everything: bikes, all the necessary kitchen implements and was perfectly located. Also easy to communicate with the host. Great experience overall.

Two Mainers

We had a delightful stay in this charming cottage. It’s just a short walk to funky shops, bike trails, and a majestic beach. I was able to take a nice five mile run with a light ocean breeze at my back and no humidity! Living on the east coast in the summer means you have to plan your activities for early day, so as to avoid a soaked exhaustion. Here, I didn’t have to plan a time. We ate fresh grapefruits each morning, plucked from the happy tree in the door yard. The space provided a sheltering afternoon shad, where we could enjoy a glass of wine and some relaxing reading. We were delighted to find they provided a Nespresso machine for coffee. Our morning coffee is important to us, providing an elevated coffee option enhanced our stay. They were thoughtful in offering not only a dairy creamer, but a coconut option as well, perfect. Our favorite restaurant was Toma. We were seated inside near an open window with an ocean view. This seemed crazy to a couple of Mainers, at home we would have been carried away by mosquitoes. We enjoyed grilled Spanish octopus , Tuna cones, and sausage rigatoni. The premium cocktails were spot on. Don’t miss out on the farmers market. They set up camp on state street every Tuesday starting around 3:00 in the afternoon. I bought one of everything I hadn’t heard of before, and was pleasantly impressed.The vendors were kind and generous. We loved this place and hope to return next year.

Perfect Family Getaway

This house is very clean and comfortable for 6 people that were in our party. The location is perfect for walking to the beach and meals. Great breakfast, dinner and wine places all within walking distance. Just a couple blocks up from beach make it walkable and perfect for beach biking. The hosts are very knowledgeable on making the stay enjoyable. Backyard was relaxing and beautiful to sit in and enjoy. The house has amble room and is very clean. The furniture is comfortable and so are the beds and rooms. New remolded but full of the original charm. And an absolute bonus is the driveway parking!!! Street parking SB can be a nightmare and this was game changing in the experience! Will absolutely return

Santa Barbara 4th of July

Leaving a review because of how amazing our stay was. More specifically, the hosts were awesome to work with. We did a family vacation for the week of july 4th. As a UCSB grad, I LOVE being back in SB. Location was absolutely perfect, and we walked everywhere. House was comfortable for us all, and had more than the expected amenities in the kitchen and throughout the house. There were beach chairs, bikes, ping pong table, beach towels, hot tub, kitchen needs, hair dryers, and even tools! The parking situation is standard for most beach cities but we were able to find some street parking. Driveway was a little tight. And no AC (again standard for SB), but they do provide fans and you’re close enough to ocean that you get that strong ocean breeze in afternoon to cool off. The thing that stood out most to me though was the owners. They were so accommodating in letting us get into the house a little bit earlier than check in time since the house was sitting vacant. This was SUCH a positive because it didn’t feel like we lost our first day with unpacking, getting kids situated, grocery store then kids bed times. They provided a very detailed guide to the house which was also appreciated. Upon departure, They were even open to us leaving a little later if we needed to (house wasn’t being rented that afternoon). Although these are simple things, sometimes owners aren’t open to it/want to charge you more. This made our trip even better! Thank you so much!

Perfect house easy walking distance to State St, beaches and Santa Barbara attractions. Bikes were a great bonus as there are great bike rides up and down the beach. Family of 5, 3 teenagers. Would definitely stay there again.

UCSB Graduation

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this house during my daughter’s graduation weekend. There was enough room for my husband and I, my sister and older daughter and my father. Everyone loved the house. We also appreciated the early check in on our first day. The location was perfect. A quick walk to State street and the ocean. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and open to the dining area and living room. Thank you to the owners for sharing your house with us.

Beautiful home in a perfect neighborhood. Walking/biking distance to all downtown amenities including the marina and pier. We rode bikes all over town with our 1 year old in tow. Looking forward to going back.

Perfect weekend getaway!

Had a fabulous stay! Leann was an amazing host and honored an early check in as well as a late departure. Extremely well kept property, meticulously clean. Our daughter loved the grapefruit tree in the backyard and they provided beach toys/ chairs/ bikes which was so convenient. Can’t beat the location, no car necessary at all. Would highly recommend!!

Perfect house in a great location

Great Location in a Quiet Neighborhood

We couldn't have been happier staying at this property. The owners thought of everything! It was the perfect space for a moms getaway of 4. Everything was within walking distance - downtown, the Funk Zone, the pier, beach, etc. In the afternoons we hung out on the patio which was quiet and serene. I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect for our girls trip!

This was a perfect house for our girls trip, comfortably fit 6 adults. The location couldn't be better...easy walk to the beach, State Street and the Amtrak Station is literally around the corner. The kitchen was stocked with every amenity you could possibly want and the towels even smelled great! I would absolutely stay in this house again and will recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Santa Barbara!

Retreat to paradise
