Great Location. Great View!! Enjoy this 2 bedroom suite with living room and kitchen windows overlooking the historic Gorge Waterway. A breathtaking view!!

The accommodation is comfortably appointed, including 2 Queen size bedroom suites and linens. Walk-in closet and flat screen TV in the Master. The property is very centrally located; restaurants, shopping, golf and movie theaters all within easy walking distance. Transit stops within mere steps of your door, water taxi option (approx 2 kms) offers guests the chance to cruise the length of the Gorge Waterway en route to inner harbor - Empress Hotel. Take a short country drive to Butchart Gardens for a day trip and hit the local market on your way home.

Room for 1 car in the shared (with owner) driveway.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay here. Accommodations were very clean and hosts were responsive and helpful if we had questions. We enjoyed the view and the walking path just across the street

Great host, great location, great stay

My daughter's and I had a fabulous time staying at the Gorge Vista Getaway. Everything we needed was provided and the location is in a great neighborhood with plenty of amenities within a few minutes. Public transit is available just a few steps away from the property and will take you right to downtown Victoria in about 20 min. I highly recommend staying here!

Really Nice

I have to say the place was perfect, Gordon Greeted us and gave us a tour and the location is beautiful, you can walk along the Gorge. As for location you are basically 15 min from anywhere you need to go. It was perfect for our 5 day stay. So nice to have 2 bedrooms and a living room. The kitchen was fully stocked, pots pans cutting boards, glasses plates and knifes and even a couple condiments. Thanks again for the wonderful stay and I would definitely book here again.

Wonderful Stay on The Gorge

Wonderful 4-night stay in a very clean & quiet suite located across the street from a beautiful walking area beside the Gorge. Large windows have a lovely water view. Communication was excellent with owner before, during & after our stay. The comfortable suite had everything we needed for an excellent stay. A grocery store Is nearby. Thanks Gord! Recommend!

VRBO Gorge Waterway Victoria

A good location to view Head of the Gorge rowing regatta at the Tillicum Narrows as the unit is one block from the bridge. Clean, quiet unit. Some comments that would improve our ratings: a car is challenging to use as you need to back out onto an active roadway or find the driveway on a dark street. Putting a reflective marker at the end of the driveway would help us locate house driveway to turn in easier at night. Add TV access to streaming access of Netflix, minimally. Check TV as sound sometimes is not accessible when turned ON. Use NO SCENTED PRODUCTS for bedding and towels as all of us were not feeling well with the scented environment. Provide broom or hand vacuum for us to clean up leaves etc on floor from us coming and going. Provide electrical plug in washroom. Raised toilet seat needed as challenging for all of us to use the low toilet. Drain in shower needs to be cleaned out as water does not drain quickly and we are standing in water while showering. Mini blinds need to be cleaned.

Quite quiet considering the street traffic.

The stay was nice, but we weren't around alot. Furniture is a bit dated and worn. No plug in the bathroom for a hair dryer. No light above mirror. Otherwise the bed was very comfy.

This apartment was conveniently located on the Gorge waterway across the street from a bus stop and the park. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. Plus, check-in was a breeze with clear instructions.

Great Location

We loved staying at this suite. The gorgeoeus view from our living room window called us to get out and explore. It is beautiful to walk along the Gorge and is not far to the Japanese Garden. The suite has everything needed to be comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped to cook meals. Although we never took the bus the stop is right out the front door. Gord and Kelea are very friendly and are great hosts going above and beyond the normal call of duty. We would definitely stay there again if we are back in the area. Thanks so much Gord and Kelea

Great Location

Very easy parking. Met with Gord the owner when we first arrived, walked us through our new home for the week. The place had everything you could want for cooking. Wonderful view of the gorge when your having breakfast or an evening drink in the living room. We found it very close to everything we wanted to do. Will definitely book again when we are back on the island. Thank you Gord for a wonderful care free week.

Lovely Location

The suite worked out really well for 2 couples. It is well equipped with most everything that you would need and very clean. The location is excellent. The Gorge is a wonderful area to walk.

Perfect alternative to overpriced hotels

We were in town for a tournament and the team was staying at the Vic hotel just down the road. This apartment was almost half the price but was much nicer, quieter, more spacious, more convenient, and more comfortable. The unit is super clean and has everything you need. Owners were very friendly and communication was great. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Very comfortable and well located

My family and I stayed in their basement suite for a couple of days and we were very happy with the place. Comfortable and cozy, you have all the amenities you need and the beds were comfortable as well. Location is quiet, in front of a nice promenade for walks or biking, and you are just a short ride to downtown Victoria!

Extraordinary stay

This property is exactly as promised. It’s extremely clean and comfortable and Gord is a great host. The location is excellent as we felt close to everywhere. Nice walking areas right out the door. Large window from the living area has a beautiful view. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay

Very clean and comfortable place. Really well stocked for all your needs and the owner is very nice and responsive. He provided helpful information for check in, tips about the neighbourhood and kept us up to date on road work taking place. It’s in a beautiful spot just across the road from the Gorge with a lovely walking path. Close to everything. Highly recommend staying here.

Gord and Kelea’s place was perfectly located - close to everything we wanted to do and see as a young family of four and quiet enough for us to feel like it was a restful retreat. Loved having the gorge waterway just across the street! The space was clean and comfortable, and they were gracious and kind hosts. Would recommend :)

gorge rd delight

we really enjoyed our stay with a beautiful view looking out to the water. it was an easy bike ride to town on safe trails . Our host was very helpful with quick a response to any questions. we will be back for sure. and so will our friends!

Lovely location on the Gorge Waterway
