Perfect getaway

Terranea Resort is one of our favorites and this unit did not disappoint. Up on the hill with more privacy and wonderful views, the room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality.

My favorite way to enjoy Terranea!

I had a wonderful "staycation" at Terranea and will try to reserve this particular unit anytime I return to the property. Honestly, I vastly prefer the set-up to one of the hotel rooms (more space & privacy with better views and a semi-private outdoor fireplace). It's wonderful being able to take advantage of all the hotel amenities (gym, pool, room service, etc) while still having a spot that feels more removed. Don't hesitate to book.

Beautiful property, great stay

Clean, modern, convenient room a short walk to the lobby. Only issue is housekeeping left the entry door ajar after they left. This posed a security risk. There was nothing missing.

Fantastic 3 Days!

This property was exactly what we needed for our Spring Break visit to California. We used the weekends to visit our daughter and then spent three days in this lovely casita during the middle of the week. Everything was as described adn the property is gorgeous. We had a fantastic time!

Spectacular property

We spend several lovely days at the Terranea Resort, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is breathtakingly beautiful, perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We've already made plans to return! :)

Perfect Getaway!

We stayed for ten days at this beautiful Terranea property. Communication with the hosts was fast and flawless through the whole process. The service at the hotel was great. It was just like staying at the resort, rather than a private rental. The room is in a quiet location and the view is fantastic. Would absolutely stay here again and I hope we get to!

Perfect location

Super clean, well-appointed, with maid service each day. Great to have all the resort's amenities available. Despite having the parking lot outside one of the windows, it remained quiet. Nice little view of the ocean from the unit and the balcony.

Great location

Full size king as described with its own dedicated parking spot. Nice balcony and excellent service from Terrenea. The gym is a hike but clean and all good equipment. Highly recommend if you want a Terrenea experience but not have to deal with the front entry of the hotel.

Beautiful

Beautiful property with ocean views. All the amenities of the resort were available except daily maid service but you can add with a fee. The room was comfortable, enjoyed the patio overlooking the ocean and the fireplace in the evening. The common fireplace area was not cleaned and needed attention but still a lovely space.

Always so refreshing

Came in from Phx area to visit our kids in SoCal and to cool off. Grounds and natural surroundings are so beautiful--i remember the area when it was Marine World in the early 2000s. Busy weekend at the resort with at least 2 weddings...30 min to get my car from valet (the reserved spot was taken). But otherwise we were able to easily enjoy facilities, beach, walking paths. Terranea is always on my list of places to stay when I am in area.

The accommodation was very good, except that the bed was a little uncomfortable....the Mattress Cover needs to be replaced. We had problems getting reservations at the resort restaurants....we were told they were all full!! When we did get reservations the food at the Catalina Island and Nelson's restaurants was poor!

Relaxing!

From the check-in process to the amazing experience throughout the resort, Beth’s place was perfect for our baby moon. The room is spacious, has a lovely bathtub for amazing baths. The ceilings are high and bed linens are so luxurious. This place is such a great alternative to staying in a room within the main hotel. You can park right next to the casita and explore the surrounding area, which is also amazing! We went to Bettolino nearby and recommend the grilled octopus! The accommodations on the hotel grounds are breathtaking— the ocean outside your balcony, the trails you can get great views from, the restaurants that are available to you. Service was too notch all around. I didn’t want to leave! Thank you, Beth, for a most wonderful stay!

5 day getaway

This place was excellent. Clean and with plenty of room and comfortable furniture. We spent time on the patio overlooking the ocean. We could see dolphins and seals in the water down below...which was pretty neat. Housekeeping came in daily and got the room straight with new linens, towels, etc. They brought extra waters and coffee each day as well. The experience at Catalina and Bashi was top notch. Excellent food and wait staff. Sunday brunch @Catalina was absolutely insane. So much food I felt like it was Thanksgiving!!! We had dinner at Bashi on a Sunday evening. Not too crowded. Fantastic sushi and cocktails. I also used the resort fitness center. That place is massive and has so much equipment. Probably the best fitness center at any hotel I have ever stayed at. I wish Terranea was closer to Maryland where I live because I'd probably come here a few times each year if so. We absoutely loved it.
