Informazioni su questa struttura
Luxurious 5-BR home in peaceful 3+-acre setting with heated, salt-water pool!
Pristine and luxurious with inviting, cozy spaces inside and outside. This beautiful home is privately situated on over 3-acres, 2-minutes from Route 169 - one of North America’s “Top 10 Scenic Byways!” Near farms, markets, antique shops, restaurants, Pomfret Academy, UCONN and more.
Woodstock is part of the "Last Green Valley" and Connecticut's Quiet Corner, known for picturesque farmland, rolling hills, serene hiking trails, stargazing & outdoor adventure. This home fits with a relaxing family getaway, and social occasions such as weddings, graduations, and reunions. Keep an eye out for the scenes throughout town where the Hallmark Christmas Movie "A Royal Holiday" was filmed!
The country road, long, meandering driveway, front & back porches, sweeping front lawn and gardens set the tone. This home is architect-designed and built to the highest standards. It is furnished tastefully and comfortably. Beautifully set around a central courtyard with lush back yard, salt-water swimming pool with fountain, and 1/4-basketball court.
You'll enjoy two en-Suite Bedrooms on the first floor, plus 3 bedrooms on the second floor. The first floor also offers a cathedral kitchen, well-appointed for entertaining with stainless appliances and oversized gas fireplace, as well as spacious, yet cozy study/media room. Front-to-back sun-filled living room offers inviting seating, handsome paneled woodburning fireplace, and upright piano. Two 20' screened porches and central courtyard with gas-grill overlook the pool and sport court.
Fairlane Farm, a gracious, preserved antique & barn with pastoral land, anchors the neighborhood and abuts the property. My daughter's magical fall wedding for 70 on the property shows how it is ideally suited for special vacations, gatherings and events in a country setting.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This property is available beginning April 13th, 2025.
There is a $1,000 event fee for parties with more than 25 attendees. For such events, most tableware shown in the photos is on-site and is available for your use.
Below you'll find my "short list" of recommended things to do in the area, as well as my favorite nearby markets and restaurants. An expanded version of this list will be printed for you & at the home. All in Woodstock and within a 15-minute drive unless noted.

Informazioni sull’host
Host: Elizabeth Crampton

I grew up on Cape Cod and in the Connecticut countryside, and currently live just outside of Boston. My family has spent five years overseas in England, France, and Germany, where I developed an appreciation of cultures and travel. Some of my passions & hobbies include family, antiques, art, fashion, current events and my Christian faith.
As a 24-year real estate professional I have a deep appreciation for this property. After getting to know the surrounds in depth, it quickly became clear how special this home, setting and Woodstock are.
The idyllic peaceful setting plus proximity to many farms, markets, antique shops, parks, hiking trails, horseback riding, kayaking and much more is a huge draw. One of the very special things about this tranquil and captivating area is that the "Last Green Valley" boasts 85% forest, fields and farmland, creating the clearest, darkest and most star-filled skies all the way down the east coast to Washington DC.
Hosting my daughter's magical fall wedding on the grounds made it clear how ideal it suited for special vacations, gatherings and events. This space is ideally suited for artist's, writer's or executive/team retreats. I have cherished sharing this space with my family and love sharing it with others looking for an upscale yet comfortable resort ambiance in this quaint New England town.
