The Space:
This incredible 4BR beachside condo is ideal for a family or group trip and is located in the heart of Playa del Carmen and only steps from the beach and sea! A block from the famous 5th Avenue too which is lined with restaurants, bars, cafes, boutique shopping, souvenir shops, great entertainment and people watching! Plus at the Magia condo complex you’ll find luxury amenities like a resort-style pool, sun beds and lounge areas, and a gym. Plus 24/7 security and free covered parking in the event you’re arriving by car. However, just know, everything in Playa del Carmen is within walking distance of the Magia condo complex!

- Super Walmart & Soriana supermarkets plus convenience stores like 7-11 & OXXO in walking distance

Getting Around:
There's a private underground parking garage, in the event you're arriving by car. Also, when you drive around in town be aware where you park as you may be in a metered parking spot. In which case you'll need need to search for the meter to pay for your parking. The meters are in effect from Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 10 pm, except for official holidays.There are also public parking lots around town for a nominal fee by the hour/day. Luckily, however, the property is centrally-located you won’t really need a car because everything is within walking distance. And for any activity further away, you can easily rent a bike, take a taxi, or go by ‘colectivo’ (shared-ride vans) to where you need to go.

The condo is about 55.5 km/34.5 miles or about a 45-min drive from the Cancun International Airport (CUN). It’s best to pre-arrange your airport transfers. There are shared-ride and private vans as well as rental car options. Let us know if you need any assistance. We’d be happy to help!

**There is ongoing building maintenance taking place, expect construction noise between 11 am and 2 pm and moderate noise until 6pm.**

- In the event of city-wide power outages conducted by the Federal Commission of Electricity, elevator service may be impacted. Please note that the elevator is external to the rented apartment, and its proper functioning cannot be guaranteed during such outages.

- This building is not suitable for individuals with disabilities. It does not have ramps or easy access for wheelchairs, scooters, or other mobility aids.

- Please note that you’ll need to climb a small staircase (5 steps) to get from the pool area to the elevator.

- We provide a few essentials to make you feel more at home when you arrive like bottled drinking water, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. Please note that these will not be refilled during your stay. If you'd like to arrange grocery delivery, just let us know! We also provide quality bed linens, bathroom and beach towels* and kitchen equipment to give you the most comfortable stay. And if you need an airport transfer, we can help you with that too! Just let us know! (*Please use the WHITE towels for the pool! The striped towels are forbidden in the pool area. The STRIPED towels are for the beach. Thank you in advance!)

- Electricity is included in short-term stays (2-27 nights) but not included for long-term rentals of 28 nights or more. In this case, you pay for what you consume based on a $6 MXN (pesos) fee per KW. *Please help us save energy by using the AC wisely and keeping the temperature at 25°C and turning off the AC and lights when you leave the property.

- Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation

- A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.

- There is no daily housekeeping but if you need a cleaning service during your stay, it has an extra cost – Please let us know in advance. This service does not include changing the bed linens or towels. If you would like to add this service, additional fees will apply.

- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $200 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during your stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture
- Pets are not allowed.
- Please avoid hanging towels or clothes on the balcony/terrace railings.
- It is requested to use the Safety Deposit Box for all your valuables. We will not be held responsible for any loss or theft.
- Pool and common area regulations and opening hours have to be respected. The use of musical devices in common areas is prohibited. Glasses, glass bottles, food or coolers are not allowed in the pool, the use of disposable or plastic glasses are allowed.

Fun with Family and Friends

We thought the unit was very clean and was what we thought. They don’t allow you to drink at the pool or have any music what so ever outside. There is zero activity at the pool. The beach has plenty of options and are near by, but the pool area isn’t much. We had a great stay overall.

Perfect Location

The location was perfect. Greet cafe right outside property. 5th avenue was steps away. Unit was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Property was well maintained. Nice pool! Access to pool and beach towels was a big plus. Wish there had been a few more hand and face towels, maybe just extra towels in general, and maybe some throw blankets. Nice stay!!!!

It was ok

The pictures were a little misleading. It looked like the beach was right out front. The closest beach to walk to was pretty gross so you had walk around to the other side of property about three blocks. The garage was sometimes not open causing us one night to park on the road which was paid parking which I didn’t see and we got a boot on the van. My fault for not seeing the sign I guess but the garage to property should have been open. Another complaint is that check in time was 4:00, we arrived at 6 and the cleaning people were in there looked like they were kinda hanging out. So they hurried up and “finished” but was not super clean. That all being said the condo was spacious for nine people and a block from fifth avenue if you like the shopping and restaurants and clubs.

We loved the location!

Great location! Walk to the beach for the day or walk to 5th Ave! This location is the best! We did enjoy our stay! There is no dishwasher (the ad says there was supposed to be one) The showers look like they need some heavy bleaching and mildew/mold cleaning. Definitely a dated condo, don’t expect brand new. The beds are pretty small, ok if your smaller people, we loved the one room with all the bunks, the kids slept there and loved it! Lots of space for everyone, lots of storage.
