Great Location

The Painted Rock was a perfect place for our women’s getaway. The location was great with close proximity to wineries, breweries, and distilleries as well as a local creamery. We were also able to walk to restaurants near by. Our accommodations were very nice with comfortable beds and cozy blankets. The view overlooking the lake was an added bonus and the host was very accessible. We would definitely book the Painted Rock for our next stay!

Perfect house for a getaway

We had 3 couples visit for the weekend. The house was very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. Location is convenient right in town. One thing to note, the house is three floors. It didnt bother us but if you are traveling with elderly it could be an issue. We will be booking again for our next visit.

Great time on the Lake

This was our 2nd stay at this property and it didn't disappoint. Clean, great location and views. We will stay there again the next time we visit the area.

Enjoyed our stay

Many great things about the house: beautiful view of Lake Seneca, easy walk to town, big rooms and bathrooms. Deck was nice for an afternoon cocktail enjoying the water. None of us recalled a mention of three flights of stairs, or lots of traffic noise, somewhat uncomfortable living room seating. Kitchen doesn’t have large drinking glasses and has small coffee mugs. Host was very responsive.and helpful.

Lovely

We’ve stayed in many places in the Finger Lakes region and this was beautiful. We had 2 king suites, 4 toilets and loved it. I had initially booked this to go with friends but they couldn’t go so our daughter and son in law went with us. We all had our privacy but could also hang out together. There are alot of steps but I knew that was the case.

Great place with beautiful views

The condo worked out great for our annual sister/niece trip. The property condition was 5* and we had parking available for 2 vehicles. Restaurants, shopping and an entrance to Watkins Glen State Park are all within walking distance. It is a nice walking location during daylight and at night. Loved our time in Watkins Glen. We did miss mention when booking that there were 3 flights of stairs. It didn't matter that much for our group but would be a problem for those with leg or knee problems.

Amazing Stay

Really enjoyed out stay at the property. Very clean, very convenient. Parking was easy. Nice patio and bbq setup available for outdoor dining. Lots of stairs so be prepared for a bit of exercise. Overall, great stay!

A total of two senior, and one soon to be senior, couples stayed here to attend the Watkins Glen Vintage Grand Prix. The location is accurately described. The amenities were numerous and appreciated. The hosts, Ann and Dan, were congenial and helpful. We intend to return.

Convenient and beautiful

There are no shortcuts taken on this property. The view and convenience are unbeatable. You get the spirit of the lake and the feel of being in your cottage. We’ve stayed here several times. Never disappointed.

Perfect location. Very clean and plenty of room. Equipped just right. Easy access to downtown shopping, dinning and entertainment. Highly recommend. Evenings at the fire pit just relaxing and enjoying the views and sounds of the lake were priceless.

Ideal Location for Exploring Lake Seneca & Watkins Glen

The property itself is great and this is our second time staying. The view of the lake is wonderful, and it's only a short walk to virtually everything Watkins Glen has to offer. Be prepared for stairs, and if you have little ones you will want to ensure you are bringing wide baby gates. For the convenance, price, amount of space, and quality of the units and furnishings, we don't think this can be beat.

Location, Location, Location

Very nice, large 3 level townhouse. The spaces are spread over 3 levels for privacy. The main living area with a balcony is on the upper level, providing great views of the harbor and beyond. Easy walk to Watkins Glen to several restaurants and pubs. The dock area with the gas fire pit and seating is a nice touch. Highly recommend!
