Twin Maple Farm: Charming Modern Farmhouse

This updated 1920s farmhouse centrally located in the Berkshires is great for family vacations with a large backyard for kids to play and parents to relax. The large living and dinning rooms allow for family time but bedrooms provide privacy. Down the street is Taft Farms, great for fresh fruits, vegetables and baked goods. Downtown Great Barrington (5 min. drive) is a fun area for shopping and food. Within a 20 minute radius there are ski areas, hiking trails, waterfalls, museums, and theaters.

The Neighborhood: The greatest advantage about the neighborhood surrounding Twin Maple Farm are all of the local food options only minutes away. Just a quarter of the mile down the road you will find Taft Farms, great for fresh fruits, vegetables and baked goods. Depending on the season, Taft Farms also has a petting zoo, corn mazes, and much more. A mile past Taft Farms is Berkshire Mountain Bakery, some of the best bread you will ever try! Not only do they have great bread, they also have amazing Take 'N' Bake pizza. Adventure a little further down the street and you will find Windy Hill Farm great for pick your own berries and apples, Butternut Ski Area, and downtown Great Barrington.

Interaction with Guests: My intention is that every guests fully enjoys Twin Maple Farm and their time in the Berkshires. I offer assistance as needed but also respect guests' privacy. Upon arrival I meet guests to show them around and answer any questions such as good places to eat, the best things to do with kids during each season, etc. Once guests are settled in I respect their privacy but am only a phone call away.

Family Friendly Farmhouse

Beautiful farmhouse in a wonderful location. Great, family friendly home with everything you need to be comfortable. Very family friendly location with big beautiful backyard. Couldn’t ask for more. Stayed for a Fall long weekend with friends and three children. Cozy, clean and very comfortable. Hosts are easy to contact, available and accommodating. Will surely return.

Our third autumn visit to this charming, light filled home in the Berkshires. Clean, bright and comfortable in a peaceful spot, yet minutes to downtown Great Barrington. Stockbridge and Lenox a quick ride away and the best market a walk down the road for morning treats! The most lovely hosts always at the ready to answer any questions or share a favorite spot. See you next year!

Excellent Stay in a Fantastic House

Saiid was a wonderful house. He was great introducing the kids to the animals on the property on our first morning. The house itself is just as advertised. It’s spacious and in a great location. It had everything we needed for meals and was spotless when we arrived. We had a great visit!

Great rental for a group

My 3 friends and I stayed here for a girls get away in the Berkshires. It was clean, comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen, hardwood floors and nicely appointed furniture. Great light/windows (and one is stained glass!) Owners left excellent instructions and available for questions while also giving us our privacy. I would happily rebook this property!

Best of the Berkshires

Our second year back to this beautiful home in Great Barrington! A beautiful setting on a quiet street that is close to absolutely everything fun in the Berkshires. The house is comfortable, light filled, always spotless and has wonderful hosts that are always eager to share tips for everything in the area. We will definitely be back for a third visit! Monument Mountain is right around the corner, which is great for hiking. Taft Farms is just at the end of the street, where we always find way more goodies than we are looking for! :)

Beautifully Renovated - Quiet and Peaceful

The house is lovely and beautifully renovated. Our group consisted of 6 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The pastoral setting is beautiful, yet you’re only a short drive to restaurants and shops. The owner was wonderful to deal with and was very responsive to any questions we had. Loved our stay!

So Wonderful

Our family had such an amazing time at this property. It was the best Vrbo listing we actually every stayed at - better than described, so clean, had everything for cooking you’d need. The house is a 5 minute drive to town, and if you have little kids they’ll love the animals in the backyard and a short walk away at Taft Farms. So great!

Fantastic Owners and Great Place

The place was just as described. The owners live very close but were not at all intrusive - just there when needed. The main bedroom on the first floor has terrific morning light and great views. Taft Farm is super close and easily walkable. Great Barrington is a short drive. And, of course, the animals are a super special addition. We will be back!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Saiid and Sera’s pristine property in the Berkshires. The location was wonderful and the hosts were the best! Puzzles and games galore plus an actual pony on property had my 5 year old giddy. Thank you again for helping us craft such lovely memories.

Wonderful stay

This farm house is comfortable, immaculately clean and nicely furnished. Windows across the downstairs master give lovely meadow views. Our grandchild loved feeding apples to the rescue horse, donkey and pony. Less than a 5-minute walk away is Taft's deli with good local sausage, produce and sandwiches. Great hiking is very close, too. The host is remarkably helpful with suggestions.

Berkshire beauty

Beautiful spot in the Berkshires…we loved absolutely everything about this beautiful property. Pictures don’t do justice to how charming it is! Filled with light and immaculate. Taft Farms down the road has everything, and we fell in love with the animals on the property. Flag Rock hike in walking distance and worth it! Take Willow’s trail to Flag Rock and great view. We will definitely be back! Super lovely hosts. hosts.

Lovely getaway

The perfect place for a getaway in the Berkshires. House was super clean and comfortable and had all the equipment you would need for a longer stay. The location was great - walking distance to Taft Farms and a short drive away from various little towns. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Property!

Our stay at Twin Oak Farms was wonderful! It was a cozy and (very) clean house for college friends to re-connect and spend the weekend together. The kids loved feeding the animals and we enjoyed walking to the corner farmer's market to get food and goodies. The market also has a large petting zoo area and corn maze for the kids. The property itself was beautiful, we were able to open the curtains and watch the animals from our bed in the master bedroom downstairs. Very peaceful but also close drive to downtown to go shopping/out to eat. We will be back!

Beautiful renovated farmhouse on peaceful, scenic property

This is an immaculate and comfortable renovated farmhouse in a great location with beautiful grounds. Hosts Sera and Saiid were gracious and responsive to every request, yet respected our privacy. We were here a month and sorry to leave. Hope to stay here again. Lovely!

Delightful and Restorative!

Great, accommodating hosts/ meets clean, pretty, well-appointed farmhouse… add spectacular views, an outside deck overlooking bucolic rolling hills, with the extra bonus of a bustling farm/store down the street, and minutes from quaint Great Barrington ….all resulting in a wonderful vacation with loved ones.

Wonderful family home

We had a fantastic week with grandparents at this farmhouse just a short ride to downtown GB. Lots of games and puzzles for older kids/adults, and foosball and air hockey in the basement (my 5 yr old could have spent all day down there!). The kids loved feeding the horse, donkey, and pony. Hosts were so lovely and welcoming!

We had a wonderful time in Great Barrington. The house was perfect for our family of 5 and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. The kids loved seeing the animals every day. We did several hikes around the area. We can’t wait to go back!

Great Stay at Twin Maple Farm with the Family!

We really loved our stay. Saiid was great at painting a picture of what we'd need in advance and things to do on the property and in the area during our time in Great Barrington. The house was immaculate and had all the comforts we needed with our two little girls, aged 3 and 5, in tow. It's definitely a spacious, charming farmhouse feel with some games and puzzles for the kids to play with (on top of what we brought - new stuff gets more attention!) and a nice big kitchen table for us to cook and eat breakfast together to start our day. Our girls also made fast-friends with the animals on the property - a horse, pony and donkey - we'd visit them a few times a day and they are still talking about them now two weeks later! There's a great little farm store within a 3-5 min walk past a field that abuts the property that has everything you'd need - milk, eggs, butter, bread, juice, fruit, veggies, cereal, etc. The house is under 10 min away from Butternut and near great hiking trails like Monument Mtn. We'd love to thank Saiid and his family for a wonderful stay and would look forward to going back; just what we were looking for!

Perfect chill property

Lovely time at this chill property in Great Barrington. Peaceful spot next door to a farm with fresh goodies. Short drive to town and a perfect spot to explore the Berkshires. The house had everything and the owners are wonderful and kind. Will recommend to friends!

Great Barrington, MA house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Twin Maple Farm. The house was spacious with lots of natural light, the kitchen and bathrooms were very well furnished, and the location was excellent. The street is quiet and a short walk from the Taft Farm farm stand, which has scrumptious baked goods and and locally made food products. The house is also a short drive to Great Barrington, one of our favorite towns. We highly recommend Twin Maple Farm for others who want a quiet and comfortable getaway.

Our daughters never wanted to leave!

We rented this house for a Butternut Ski trip for our twin daughters' 6th birthday. They loved going out to visit the horse, pony, and donkey and the owners were very welcoming and kind. The location of house was wonderful: close to town but you still feel like you're in the country when you look out onto the open field. The kids loved walking the length of the property and throwing snowballs in the river. We hope to come back!
