Questa casa ben tenuta a un piano è dotata di 3 invitanti camere da letto, 2 bagni completi che possono ospitare sette persone per la vera ospitalità. Due camere hanno nuovi materassi Posturepedic e cuscini ipoallergenici per il tuo sonno tranquillo e riposante. Entrambi i bagni sono comodamente collegati alle camere da letto. Goditi la connessione Wi-Fi gratuita e il comfort di guardare la TV SMART 4K UHD con UHD Netflix nel soggiorno e SMART TV nella camera da letto principale. Venice, FL è la "Capitale del dente dello squalo del mondo" e la spiaggia di Caspersen è una delle migliori spiagge di bombardamenti del mondo e un posto eccellente per trovare denti di squalo preistorici! Ci sono percorsi naturalistici che viaggiano attraverso paludi d'acqua dolce e salata, aree di mangrovie, pianure di marea e eccezionali opportunità per esplorare e imparare la fauna selvatica della Florida.
Il gazebo del Centennial Park è il luogo di frequenti concerti gratuiti per tutto l'inverno. Il mercato degli agricoltori del Detwiler è un'ottima destinazione per chattare con la gente del posto mentre acquisti prodotti locali per i tuoi pasti sani e deliziosi.

Great getaway with a fantastic pool!

We had a fantastic stay at this home! The highlight was definitely the pool—our kids absolutely loved spending time there, and it made our vacation extra special. The house itself was comfortable and well-equipped, and although we encountered a few minor maintenance issues, the owner was incredibly responsive and took care of lt right away. We really appreciated the prompt communication and attention to detail. Overall a great experience!

Wonderful home close to beach and shops

Gregg is a super nice host! My family stayed a full week and thoroughly enjoyed the house and pool. We would stay again if we have the opportunity.

The house was found to be in clean order. We found everything we needed for our short stay.However, the landscape could you a tidey, as well as the garage. As a former landlord, I understand not wanting to spend money on a property. But a few bucks would go a long way with this property renting for more money.

Venice Stay

First impression outside was an eye sore. Grass and plants around house was grown up and need cutting badly. Surrounding houses lawns was cut and neat. House was very clean. A little updating especially furnishings in living room and removing the couch in the screen patio, would make this more pleasing place to stay.

2 month stay in Venice Gardens

Property was "as advertised. Location was excellent for ease of access to Venice and the surrounding area. Bird life was especially good for viewing in the back yard and we had at least 3 small alligators in the lake. Interior of the house was clean but could use some further maintenance (eg not all the blinds are in good repair.). Host was responsive and easy to work with.

House was as pictured in the listing. Enjoyed bird watching from the back yard every day. Pool was a nice extra, kids wished it was heated to a warmer temperature. Plenty of space for a family of 4! Proximity to the beaches were within reason too.

We stayed a week in the home to vacation and visit family friends in the area. The home is comfortable, clean, and conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and beaches. Enjoyed the pool and backyard setting.

Not worth the stay

Overall the property was clean, furniture is outdated, but clean. Pool area was nice. Outside of property was definitely not the same as what the pictures depict. Landscaping was dead and there were dead bugs stuck all over the entrances. The biggest issue is that the air conditioning was not cooling the house. We arrived at 10pm and the inside temp was 83. We set the thermostat to 72 and there was no cold air blowing from the vents. So we decided to stay in a hotel for the night, came back the next morning at 9am and the inside temp only went down to 79. We made several attempts to discuss this with the owner, but the owner did not believe us, even though we had pictures and videos and called us liars several times. The owner was rude and unwilling to resolve the problem. We've been renting from VRBO for over 5 years and have never had such a bad experience. I'm sure the owner is going to say something negative about us in a response, but my review is based on facts.

Property is in a great location to downtown Venice, shopping,restaurants, and beaches. We really enjoyed the Lanai and heated pool. Had a great time watching the birds and wild life.

Another Lovely Stay

This was our second stay at this property. We had a great time! The property had all the necessities and then some and the location is very convenient. Whenever we were not at the beach we enjoyed the pool and bird watching. Absolutely will plan to book again in the future.

Disappointed

We were very disappointed to find out that this house was not a 3 bedroom but really a 2 bedroom house! The 3rd room is not a bedroom ( does not have a closet) but is instead a den that is connected to the master bedroom with a sliding glass door to separate the two rooms! This actual room doesn’t have a bed but has an old sleeper sofa with a very uncomfortable thin mattress on it and didn’t have bed sheets for it so we had to improvised!! The blinds on the slinging door are missing/broken so no real privacy there either! Not to mention that our bed sheets had stains on them! They were clean but had big red stains that didn’t come out after washing them. The sliding glass door in the kitchen is literally missing the handle that we actually found in one the kitchen cabinet drawer. Light bulbs on lamps were out and I didn’t feel like it was my responsibility to take care of it! This property is to me not well kept as described on the website. I think someone should check the maintenance of the house before guests arrive to make sure that everything is working and in order!

House is in a nice location

The house was Ok. The furniture is old and the house is in need of repairs. TV was spotty which frustrated my husband. The orange plastic fence around the pool killed the vibe. It just needs comfy furniture that will fit a group of four and good internet and cable. Just a little TLC and it would be a great place.

Disappointed

I discussed our concerns with the owner and VRBO support when we refused to check-in upon arrival. There was hurricane damage to the lanai. The pool was filthy. I would not recommend staying at this property.

Clean and comfortable

The home is older but was clean and comfortable and the owner was very responsive when needed. Venice is a great place and this house is close to everything. Unfortunately hurricane Ian destroyed the pool cage and it's awaiting installation which friends have told me takes months. It's no fault of the owner but that took away from the outdoor enjoyment. Some new lounge chairs for the lanai would also be helpful .

Pool issues

We selected this property primarily based on the pool and the photos of the pool vista. When we arrived we found the pool heater out of commission and the pool shelter removed. Refunding the heating fees does not fairly compensate for what we felt was an impaired property. We completely understand the shelter was hurricane related damage. But there has been plenty of time to amend the listing to note pool is not as depicted in photos.

Birds!

This rental is on a bird sanctuary. If you’re a bird nerd, you’ll love this place. I would highly recommend bringing binoculars for bird watching if that’s your thing. Lots of bird books around the house for reference. This house is located in a residential area rather than tourist area. It was close to everything via car. It was wonderful to have the private pool to relax at the end of a busy day.

Great Location and View!

Cute house that felt spacious and open with the sliders to the lanai and pool. Loved the privacy fences and the kids were in the pool ALL day and ALL night. Close to public beaches and eating options. Host was responsive to a small issue with the fridge and had a back up on hand in the garage which was helpful. It would be helpful to have understood the layout of the 3rd bedroom being just off of the master bedroom but it all worked out fine. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

Perfect Getaway

My family very much enjoyed our stay at this property! The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed the pool and lake very much. Outside by the pool enjoying the view of the lake and all of the wildlife was the perfect spot to drink our morning coffee. Quick drive to local beaches and food/grocery shopping. Great spot! Hope to visit again next year.

Family vacation

This property is absolutely amazing! Everything was convenient and easy to figure out. The views from the backyard are serene and the pool was incredibly refreshing. The neighborhood was charming and felt safe. I can’t think of a single negative aspect about our stay here!
