Huntsville is a vibrant town known for its natural beauty, local arts scene, and outdoor activities. Explore the nearby Algonquin Provincial Park, take a scenic drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park, or enjoy local dining and shopping in downtown Huntsville—all just a short drive from Fairy Lake Beach House. Guests have full access to the entire cottage, including the private dock, outdoor deck, screen room, and four-season room. Kayak & canoe are available for guest use, and the sandy beach next door is perfect for young children. Enjoy BBQs on the deck or cozy up around the bonfire pit in the evenings.

In the winter head out snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding on our hill or skating at nearby Arrowhead Provincial Park. Fifth Bedroom: A bright and welcoming space with a double bed, perfect for a restful night’s sleep located in the basement level.

Bathrooms:

Bathroom 1: A full bathroom with a shower, located in the laundry room for guest convenience is located in the Main level.

Bathroom 2: A spacious bathroom featuring a bath/shower combination, offering the best of both options for guests located on the second floor.

We include all linens including bedding & towels, and a kitchen perfect for cooking large family meals!

Huntsville Transit operates a bus service with three routes covering key areas in town, including the downtown core, healthcare facilities, shopping centers, and some residential neighborhoods.

However, if guests plan to explore areas like Fairy Lake or attractions outside the downtown, having a car is highly recommended. Public transit in Huntsville is primarily geared towards essential travel within town rather than reaching more remote areas or major attractions like Algonquin Park. Taxis and ride-share services like Uber may also be available, but availability could be limited.

Our space is located in the woods and we do treat the exterior to keep out pests including insects and mice, this is a reality of being surrounded by beautiful mother nature. Should this be of concern to you our space may not be the best fit.

Animals you may see during your stay include deer, black bears, groundhogs, mice, insects.
