In the winter head out snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding on our hill or skating at nearby Arrowhead Provincial Park. Huntsville Transit operates a bus service with three routes covering key areas in town, including the downtown core, healthcare facilities, shopping centers, and some residential neighborhoods.
However, if guests plan to explore areas like Fairy Lake or attractions outside the downtown, having a car is highly recommended. Public transit in Huntsville is primarily geared towards essential travel within town rather than reaching more remote areas or major attractions like Algonquin Park. Taxis and ride-share services like Uber may also be available, but availability could be limited.
Our space is located in the woods and we do treat the exterior to keep out pests including insects and mice, this is a reality of being surrounded by beautiful mother nature. Should this be of concern to you our space may not be the best fit.
Animals you may see during your stay include deer, black bears, groundhogs, mice, insects.
