This is the 2nd time staying at the property and it was the perfect place again for our family to get away for the holiday weekend. We would stay here again and recommend the property very highly.
We had such a fun stay at the lake house. This house was plenty big for 4 couples and was close by to some fun attractions/restaurants. Hoping to rent again in the summer when the weather is nice!
All that is in listing is true, plus more. Cleanliness A plus. home essential needs are an A plus. Quiet n serene A plus. Friendly neighbors A plus, etc.
Overall this house worked great for two families with small kids. We loved the view, enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit, and were able to use the house as a base for other NH activities.
Quiet lake where we could enjoy kayajing, canoeing, fishing, swimming, and relaxing! House has all amenities needed and more! Definitely recommended for families of all ages.
We had a wonderful time, plenty of room. We skated, rented Skidoos enjoyed the hot tub. Great house. Clean had everything we needed. Would be a great place in the summer as well.

3rd time at Shellcamp and it doesn’t disappoint. We have enjoyed the set up, love having 2 bedrooms on each level, enjoy the outdoor spaces, including lower one when the occasional shower pops up, allowing you to remain outside in fresh air without getting rained on, enjoyed the hot tub … nothing bad to say about it! all positive! Boom your time today!
We returned again this year -- same place, different time of year. Another wonderful stay. We would return again.
This time, not quite as clean as last year, but still incredible stay.
This was a great stay, house is as lovely as the pics. Kitchen was well stocked, looking at the water while drinking our morning coffee was priceless. It's a pond so those of us who didn't want to feel the bottom wore water shoes. It is shallow until you get out a bit, easy to get into. Area is great everyone was so friendly, nice places to walk around. Plan on coming back next year!
We had a great time staying at this house. The house was clean and plenty of space for 7 adults. When we were ready to leave and all in our cars one of our cars wouldn't start. June and her husband were so kind and patient and kept offering for us to stay in the house till AAA got there and then we had to wait for a tow truck. Her husband was waiting to snow blow the driveway but never got upset that we were still there. Very nice people and a wonderful house. Would highly recommend anyone stay there!
Nice property just like pictures. Best parts: very clean, lake is large and scenic with no houses across the water. Kitchen is best we’ve had as far as amenities and quality of items. Stocked with all necessities to cook any meal. Downside as shown in picture is upstairs living room has one small 1.5 seater more of an office reception loveseat and one recliner. If you are looking to hang out with more than two and relax the only space is the basement which is still a basement. Overall a beautiful space.
This place was PERFECT! We loved kayaking on the lake, floating in tubes, and just enjoying the quietness of it all. Sitting by the fire at night making smores and reflecting on our day. My husband caught 2 bass during the week which made his time here all the better. Beach towels, bath towels, beds made with fresh linens, spices for cooking, dish liquid, hand soap, a starter pack of firewood, toilet paper, etc.
Having the hot tub was awesome.
June was a fantastic host.
The only thing that that would make this even better would be the addition of a half bath. We just alternated showering at night and morning. There is a lot of plant life in the lake so as long as you k ow that going in you won't be disappointed. There are two public beach areas (small ones) within a few houses to etiehr side if you want a more "clean" swimming area. This is a very private lake so if you're looking to really get away from it all this is the place for you!
This was my second stay. It was just as memorable this year. I became a repeat guest because of what this place has to offer. You can actually catch fish from your own dock and sizeable ones too. There are four kayaks for your use along with assorted life vests. There are various items in the shed if you should need an extra rod or fishing net and a fun basketball type game we've grown fond of playing. There is a heavy duty metal fire pit and plenty of Adirondack chairs to move around it. They even supply wooden marshmallow sticks in case you didn't bring any. The kitchen is fully stocked so all you need to do is bring your groceries and beverages. Having that dishwasher is super important while being on vacation. Washer and dryer is certainly handy, especially since your staying at a lake front property. After a day of fishing, kayaking and such it is fabulous to unwind in the outdoor hot tub. There is a bathroom on each floor which is very convenient as well as multiple televisions. We watched very little television as the weather was great and we were busy having fun. The hosts are constantly improving the property and it shows. Quiet neighborhood and not overcrowded on the water like large resorts or camps. We saw a bald eagle, blue heron along with ducks and Canadian geese within a few yards from us. Can't wait for next year.
My family of 4 had a great time at the Vaillancourt's. The home had plenty of space, was very clean and comfortable, and was accurately portrayed on the listing.
