Long weekend fishing trip

Prime property in quiet neighborhood near boat landing. Surprised to bring home quite a few fish after the hurricane had just flooded the area. The deer walking along the area were beautiful. Plan to come again.

Peaceful and tranquil rest

We thought it was beautiful area and really enjoyed the main at mall and decor mall because it had such nostalgic items and great food too. The place is comfortable but also felt like a step back in time but comfortable. Some of the snacks were out if code but it was nice they had some available. We did not go on the water at all but mostly because weather was a little cooler and cloudy.

Comfortable and well-appointed guest apartment in a great location

The guest apartment was comfortable and the beautiful lakeside location made for a great stay. It was very private and had everything needed for a short stay. We didn't use the beach or dock but we did explore the property and it is a great slice of Lake Norman beauty.

Luxury on a Budget

Perfect amenities. Kayaking, very peaceful on Lake Norman and the kayaks are right at the dock. Beautifully maintained grounds- your privacy is respected. Very spacious. You must hike the Lake Shore Loop at the State Park (15 mins away) TAKE BUG SPRAY. FYI: Queen bed , regular coffee pot, nice toaster oven and microwave. You may encounter another guest on grounds as there’s a traveling nurse vrbo attached. Owners were great and super friendly.

Quaint, Relaxing Getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and had no issues. Nice, comfy bed, very clean and well kept, and having a smart TV with access to Netflix was a plus. The little beach/dock area is lovely, and we enjoyed floating out on the lake and kayaking. The owners gave us our privacy, and I would have never guessed that they lived right above if I didn’t know. We were able to take in the sunset and enjoy a fire on the beach as well. Great little place to stay for a little couples’ getaway. My husband and I wanted to enjoy a relaxing, kid-free getaway, and this was just that!

Beautiful location

Our accommodations were lovely, private, spacious and quiet. Had coffee on the private dock every morning and watched the sun set in the evening with a glass of wine. A compact little kitchenette but had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and very well appointed accommodations.

Romantic and peaceful

Quiet. This is not for one who wants city hustle and bustle. Yet there is everything one needs, shopping, restaurants, within 15 minutes. The place actually EXCEEDED my expectations. Make sure you read you check in instructions BEFORE arrival. The phone reception is terrible until you grab the WiFi, which is in the instructions, lol! After that the WiFi is GREAT! BEAUTIFUL scenery, we had coffee on the patio, grilled one day, and fished as much as we wanted, and enjoyed the pool table.. And GrubHub delivers there. Huge curved screen TV. Bed is a tad tight for us big people, but aok for normal size folks. Ceiling fans on remote control, lighted patio and yard, fenced in property. Well-maintained.

Lakefront Gem

Bill's place was exactly as shown online and the directions provided to the property were accurate. There were snacks and bottles of cold water available to us upon arrival and were very much appreciated after a long day of travel. The check-in process was very easy with the instructions provided by Bill. We found Bill's place to be very clean and we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable with room darkening curtains in the bedroom. There was ample privacy and it was so quiet that one would hardly know the host and his family were upstairs. We were able to utilize the dock to watch the sunset over the beautiful lake. Very peaceful and relaxing!! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would stay again if the opportunity arose and would certainly recommend Bill's place. What a beautiful lakeside gem we found!

Relaxing weekend away

This is a beautiful spot! It rained and stormed our entire weekend there but we were still able to sit under the gazebo on the dock and have a relaxing weekend away. The host was courteous and allowed us our privacy but was available if needed. The neighbor was kind as well. They left us a basket of snacks and a couple of bottles of water which was appreciated since we arrived later in the evening. The living area is well equipped and has everything you may need. I was especially appreciative of the light-weight quilt that I found in the cedar chest at the foot of the bed. I was smoldering under the heavy comforter! If you are looking for a scenic and relaxing getaway, I highly recommend this place!

It was very good. Host was very patience as to our confusion about self check in. He was great to allow the use of the beach for our grandson & his family. My only wish was that he had a coffee pot that used pods.
