Sandbox sits directly facing the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. There is nothing between you and the water except sand and sea oats!!
Sandbox has all of the amenities you could ever want in a beach vacation home without the noisy, crowded elevators of a large condo property. We have four spacious bedrooms, 3 nice bathrooms, ample parking underneath home and in adjacent parking area, a large pool, and a storage closet for easy access to beach chairs and pool items. We have some infant and toddler furnishings too!!
As you walk into Sandbox, you will notice that it is tastefully decorated with comfortable, designer furnishings. This home has 5 TVs, 2 DVD players, a CD player and free WiFi access. The four bedrooms are configured with 3 king-sized beds, 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed and there is a sofa bed in the den for additional sleeping. The first floor has a kitchen, great room den, laundry and one king bedroom with adjacent bath. The well-equipped kitchen has stainless appliances, granite counter tops, an eat-in bar for four and a dining area that seats six. Just off of the den and kitchen, there is a large partially covered deck where you can enjoy spectacular views of the dunes and water. The second floor has THREE Bedrooms. Two bedrooms share a bath, and the gulf front master bedroom suite has it's own private bath and reading nook. The master bath has a dual vanity, a shower and a spacious garden tub. The master bedroom even has its own private balcony where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the surf, spectacular sunrises and the glows of the sunsets.

WE REQUIRE a damage deposit that is refunded after your stay with satisfactory inspection. Reservations are confirmed when rental agreement is received. Winter discounted rates apply to small groups of 2-3 guests for a minimum of 4 nights. Additional fees charged for additional guests in winter.

Right on the beach
Great kids and family house just a stumble over the dune from the beach. Plenty of room for the nine we had. Like most of these kinds of rentals there is a sofa bed but that would start to make it really tight. Decent size table and bar gives enough seats for the group at mealtime. Kitchen is well equipped enough to do most things but if you have a specific requirement just bring it. For us that is a basic citrus juicer for making decent margaritas! Always part of the travel kit. Lots of stairs on the property so keep that in mind for those with mobility challenges. Kids had a blast and the provision of significant beach gear is a huge plus. The 5 pm/9 am check in/out was the only thing I’d change really. That timing means after dark arrival in the winter and the short morning at the end makes for a bit of a rush. Overall though highly recommend for a beach getaway.

The Sandbox is a great place for friends or family to get away and enjoy being on the ocean. The house is clean and exactly what is shown. Bedrooms are large and decorated beautifully. We all had a blast and would love to come back!

Perfect location on the beach. House was very clean and smelled fresh and inviting. Kitchen well stocked with everything my family needed. Beach chairs were a big plus too. I recommend bringing beach umbrella’s so you can sit next to the water. Would stay here again for sure. Excellent property to stay at.

An Awesome Family Vacation
Our family of 9 had an awesome vacation in Orange Beach at this house. This house is very clean and is exceptionally nice! It was easy to communicate with the owners. The decks were great for those wanting some shade. The ocean proximity was perfect. A pool was perfect for our grandchildren. We will be back!

Beautiful property. Spacious rooms. Gorgeous views of the ocean from upper and lower decks. Owners are easy to reach should any issues arise. Clean and comfortable. Lovely Beach House
This property is well maintained, tastefully furnished and very clean. Has everything you could need for a relaxing vacation @ the beach. The views from the deck are exceptional with sunrises and sunsets to enjoy and dolphins feeding early mornings. The beach has been recently refurbished so the sand is fluffy and clean. The weather was great for February. Great little coffee place just down the street and lots of restaurants to choose from. All around great house and location.

Great getaway. The house was conveniently located and beach front. It had everything we needed and was furnished so nice. The sunsets were amazing as was finding so many pretty shells. The owners answered all questions f our questions almost immediately. Highly recommend!

Successful 1st family beach vacation
My family really enjoyed our 1st beach vacation. The rental was very clean and had easy access to the beach, especially for little kids. The owner was also very responsive to my messages. The only issues were I wish check in was a little earlier and check out was a little later. Also wish more trash bags were provided, didn't feel like 2 large bags were enough for a whole week.

Wonderful family beach house
This was our first stay in Orange Beach and it turned out perfectly! The house was beautiful and was in a great location; right on the beach and close proximity to restaurants and stores. The property had everything we needed and even an abundance of beach items available to use. We had 3 teens, a tween and younger child and they all had a great time. The adults liked the decks for morning coffee and whale watching. We would definitely stayed here again!

perfect vacation
This duplex has 2 identical units. Each has 4 bedrooms- 2 masters with private baths and 2 other bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom. One side has a additional 1/2 bath near laundry room. We had rented the Sandbox two years ago and were going to rent again this year. we loved it 2 years ago. The day before we came, owners found out the dishwasher was broken. They called right away and gave us the option to stay in the unit or move to the other side. It is called Aquavista. We chose to move as we cook a lot and eat in a lot, so wanted the dishwasher. The owner bought a new dishwasher but was going to take 2 days to be installed. We loved the Aquavista just as much and maybe slightly better because of convenient 1/2 bath on first floor. These condos are the best stocked Vrbo's I have stayed in. Had 3 sets of beautiful dishware, that I used to set beautiful beachy tables for all our dinners Every cooking pots and pots were top quality.. We had our family of 6 and friends who stayed nearby. we had beautiful dinners for 11 people. Plenty of seating. The units have plenty of nice towels and many beach chairs and toys. my family will be back in 2 years, as we vacation together every 2 years. I will rent either side that will be available on our dates. The two balconies were awesome. Had plenty of outdoor furniture. I especially loved the upper balcony with tall chairs. My daughter and I set out and watched the dolphins almost every morning. so peaceful. Beautiful park nearby

wonderful place to stay, plenty of kitchen and ocean toys and chairs. proximity to beach is incredible, wonderful views from all balconies. plenty of room, we had 9 people. we had people on other side but never heard each other unless both were headed to beach. easy to get in and out of property. worth every penny for the smiles on grand kids face. would stay there again.
