Questa bellissima baracca del lago che dorme sei [due camere da letto più un soppalco aperto che ha un letto queen size nascondere un letto] è situato in un porto con una splendida vista di Brockway Mountain e il faro di Copper Harbor. Una breve corsa in bicicletta vi porterà alla città di Copper Harbor che ha molti ottimi ristoranti e negozi di souvenir. Il Parco Statale di Fort Wilkin si trova a breve distanza a piedi. L'area è conosciuta per i suoi grandi sentieri per mountain bike e kayak. Noleggio sono disponibili sia per lo sport. Sedetevi vicino al fuoco aperto e godetevi i bei tramonti e le luci del nord sopra il lago Superior. Spiacente, ma è disponibile solo dal 1 maggio al 31 ottobre. Non accetteremo le prenotazioni per l'estate del 2018 fino al gennaio 2018.

Nature lovers paradise.

Another phenomenal stay. Gorgeous sunsets over Brockway Mountain, Hooded mergansers fishing, Belted Kingfisher chatter and a family of otters provided the best entertainment. We watched the fog roll in one morning. It’s quite the impressive thing to see. Can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s in the best location, super comfy, good Wi-fi and has a great fire pit. I dare say, it’s perfect. We hope to stay again next year. It’s a highlight of our fall UP trip.

Copper Harbor Cabin

What a peaceful and private spot to use as a home base to enjoy the Copper Harbor area. The cabin is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is well supplied. The view of the harbor and the beach outside the door is enough to spend the day right there. We loved it.

Great place to get away from things!

This was the second time we have rented this location. It has some of the most beautiful views we have ever seen. House has everything that you would want. It's clean, comfortable and gorgeous!

Peaceful with sounds of Lake Superior

On top of the U.S., clean, welcoming, tranquility at its fineness. Perfect relaxation, breath in the cleanest air and enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets. Owners communicated well. Definitely would love to stay again. Thank You Again!!!

Truly unique spot

There’s no spot like this in CH. Secluded yet 5 min drive to downtown. Perfect view of the harbor. Wonderful swimming. Beautiful home with great amenities. 👍👍

Sunset Views and Solitude

Seeking an escape? Look no further. All the conveniences and amenities you could ask for at a remote and serene location. Beautiful sunsets over Copper Harbor lighthouse, private road offered room to stretch our legs, sightings of otters frolicking, beavers gathering sticks, wood ducks floating, eagles hunting for fresh fish, and signs from larger land predators. We enjoyed all of the above. Unique property with very responsive hosts. (Note from host approved Labrador: Good sniffs on walks. Swam a lot. Saw frens in lake fetching sticks, but they didn’t speak dog and tails were big and flat.)

Beautiful home and location

An amazing cabin and lake view. Great experience for our family. Cabin was amazing, the view of the lake was spectacular. The cabin is beautiful and clean. Muriel and Keith were easy and great to work with. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to get away to.

A little piece of heaven on earth!

Wowzas! First time Keweenaw visitor here. This place was so beautiful, I am convinced it is heaven on earth! Muriel and Keith’s place was everything as described and more. I booked the cabin specifically for the western facing sunset views and Mother Nature did not disappoint- I got to see the sunset followed by a crescent moonset - woah! Mind blown!! My only regret is that I didn’t bust out the kayak sooner. It was an amazing experience paddling out to the lighthouse and back! The ding of the booey, gentle wave splashes, and bird talk.. I loved all the sounds out there. The cabin has a great set up outside with picnic table, bench, swing, chairs, fire pit, it was very comfortable! Inside was just as comfy with fully equipped kitchen, nice leather furniture, soft beds and pillows. I had a mini freak out moment because I forgot my pillow from home, but I slept like a baby! Honestly I did not want to leave and I would definitely stay again! Thank you Muriel and Keith for sharing your exquisite property with us!

God’s Place-Haven

The best, by far the best place I have ever stayed and visited. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay there during the 4th of July. Great quiet place to enjoy and relax. Outside of the house no phone service just the wilderness! Definitely recommending and will visit again! Great an lovely ownership!

2nd visit

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at the house at the same time of year last fall. 1st time I’ve ever stayed in the same place twice and that’s because the place is perfect for me. There’s absolutely no beating the location. Long walks every day, amazing sunsets; and even when the weather didn’t cooperate it was peaceful space full of interesting local history to read up on. Thank you for sharing your home with our family.

Nature lovers paradise

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was perfect. The views were amazing. Watching the wildlife, the sunsets or the fog rolling in were a highlight of our day. Exceptional!

Wildlife, nature, sunsets, and stars abound at this sweet cabin on the shore. We felt welcomed and at home from the first moment we arrived and appreciated the ease of communication with Keith and Muriel. The busy red squirrel made us laugh and the amazing skies left us quietly humbled. The property's location and included amenities gave us a fresh perspective on Copper Harbor and provided new adventures in a place we have visited and loved for many years. Everything was perfect!

Peaceful Getaway

We stayed at this lovely home for a peaceful getaway and peaceful it was. The property and house is beautifully maintained and had everything we could have ever wanted or needed. The host Muriel was kind and responsive and last but not least the view and sound of Lake Superior right outside your door was sublime. Will definitely stay here again. This cabin is absolutely perfect. The sunsets are amazing. The ammenities both inside the cabin and outside are wonderful. The cabin was impeccably clean when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. We hope to be back one day!

Cabin on the Lake

We had the best time at Copper Harbor in this beautiful cabin on the lake. The property is gorgeous with breathtaking views of Lake Superior and Brockway Mountain. The cabin is super clean with all of the amenities to make yourself right at home. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need and there is a cute little grocery store in town that has all of the necessities. There is plenty to do between the nature walks during the day and for the evenings, they have a good selection of movies and games to play. It was one of best vacations I have ever had. This is a perfect spot to spend some quality time with the people you love. I highly recommend.

Fantastic property

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The house is well laid out, clean and inviting. Some of the most amazing sunsets ever! The fall colors against the Lake Superior background are incomparable. A very hard place to leave.
