About this property

Ocean Hills Awaits

Calling all explorers and city slickers! Ditch the ordinary hotel and dive headfirst into the Brooklyn vibe with this spacious and stylish retreat in the heart of Ocean Hills. Perfect for solo adventurers, dynamic duos, or anyone who craves comfort and convenience, this awesome space offers:

Your own private pad: Stretch out and relax in your very own haven, complete with a full-sized bed and a comfy futon. Plenty of room for two or spread out and enjoy the space all to yourself!

Subway surfing made easy: Hop on the subway or bus just a stone's throw away (under 3 minutes!) and ride the waves of urban excitement. Manhattan's hot spots, quirky shops, and delicious eats are all within your reach. Plus, JFK and LGA airports are a quick 35-minute drive, so you can jet in and out with ease.

Foodie paradise: Unleash your inner chef in the fully equipped kitchen! Whip up a gourmet feast, experiment with local ingredients, or simply enjoy a late-night snack attack.

Bonus Features:

Canine Co-Residents! Just a heads-up, the ground floor of the building is home to two small, adorable (but strictly off-limits to guests) dogs. They have their own locked-down doggy dominion, so you won't encounter them. However, if you're rocking some serious dog allergies, you might want to pack your extra-strength antihistamines, just in case. Consider them your tiny, furry, and completely separate building managers.

Security You Can See (and Some You Can't): Rest easy knowing the building is monitored by 24/7 CCTV on all exterior and interior hallways. Think of it as your own personal (and very vigilant) robot security team. But don't worry, your private areas (bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.) are camera-free zones. We respect your privacy! Plus, the building is equipped with smoke and fire sensors monitored off-site, so if things get a little too "hot" (literally), help is on the way, fast.

Good guesthouse

the room was clean and had everything I needed. It was close to two stations so convenient for transportation. There was a cheap and delicious Chinese restaurant nearby.

Misleading

It’s not an entire home, as listed it’s multiple rooms, within the apartment. Linens were dirty, shared tub drain had hair all over it, the only amenities was a roll of toilet paper. I ended up getting a hotel.

Good location

Large brownstone divided in half. One side for owners other side for guests. 6 small guest rooms sharing 2 bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Heaters in each room that were sufficient during the extremely cold weather. Lots of art work decorating the rooms and halls. Very tiny bathrooms. Dreary interior could be vastly improved with table lamps Great deli on the nearby corner and great restaurant. Pita Point and Good Friends Deli. Grinstead of the overhead lighting.

About the host

Hosted by Antonio Datt

Host profile image
Greetings, discerning traveler. I'm Andy, your host in the esteemed borough of Brooklyn. While my formative years were steeped in the vibrant culture of the Caribbean, I've found my professional home amidst the dynamic energy of New York City for some time now. Currently, I lead a prominent holding company that encompasses a range of ventures., though my earlier career included a stint refining the art of hospitality from behind the bar – a skill that, I assure you, translates surprisingly well to ensuring a seamless guest experience (and perhaps crafting an exceptional nightcap upon request).

Though my days are often spent navigating the complexities of the business world, I maintain a deep appreciation for life's finer, quieter moments. You might find me enjoying the curated tranquility of a private garden, perhaps contemplating the nuances of a rare single malt on a properly atmospheric evening. (Yes, I'm one of those individuals who finds a certain understated elegance in a well-dressed rainy day – less… commotion.)

Brooklyn, in my estimation, offers a compelling juxtaposition: the relentless drive of urban ambition balanced by pockets of genuine, unpretentious charm. From innovative culinary experiences to discreet cultural enclaves, there's always something of interest to discover, often just beyond the well-trodden path.

I find genuine pleasure in hosting, viewing it as an opportunity to share a more refined perspective on this remarkable city. My aim is to provide a stay that is both effortlessly comfortable and authentically reflective of Brooklyn's understated sophistication. Should you have any inquiries, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am always pleased to offer my insights.
