Misrepresentation of unit, hair in/on bed
The pictures in the listing give the impression that there is only one bathroom and one bedroom in the unit -- a one-bedroom loft-style apartment, perhaps. The listing shows one address, which, when I google-mapped it, reveals a small house which might lead one to think that a one-bedroom apartment might be inside. However, after booking the place, another address is revealed in an email from Lyuda -- the actual address of the unit, which is located in a much larger apartment building. The fact that the addresses were inconsistent was a warning sign that the unit might not be what it seemed. When I arrived, I noticed that there were multiple bedrooms in the apartment, and that a guest was already inside. This was not at all what I expected, and I reported this to Lyuda, who never directly addressed my concerns about the presence of the other guest. If you are looking for a space to yourself, and a private bathroom not shared with anyone, this is not the place for you. In addition, I found hair in the bedsheets and on the floor of the bedroom presumably assigned to me. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and disgusted, and I departed the unit just an hour later, requesting a full refund from the host which I am still waiting for now. Lyuda's automated messages asking "how was your stay?" only further added insult to injury, implying that she has not taken the time to read or respond to my messages. I do not recommend this stay.
