Montgomery Bay Lodge Am Gogebic-See

Die Montgomery Bay Lodge ist ein 4.000 m² großes, voll möbliertes Anwesen mit vier Schlafzimmern und drei Bädern und einer Rundumterrasse für 10 Personen. Es bietet ein rustikales Ambiente mit Blockabstellgleis und umfangreichen Holzarbeiten sowie allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten eines neu erbauten Hauses.

Die Lodge verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer und ein Vollbad im Erdgeschoss (1 Queen & 2 Twins), eine Master-Suite im Loft (1 King, Vollbad) und ein riesiges viertes Schlafzimmer und Vollbad im Streikkeller (1 Queen) , 2 Zwillinge).

Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über einen geräumigen Wohn- und Essbereich mit Fensterfront und Blick auf den Gogebic-See. Gourmet-Küche mit Kirschholzschränken, Insel mit Platz für drei, Granit-Arbeitsplatten und Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl. Wäschemöglichkeiten in voller Größe sind in der Master Suite verfügbar.

Ein fertiger, begehbarer Keller bietet einen geräumigen Erholungsbereich mit Flachbildfernseher, Tisch / Stühlen und Trockenbar mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine.

Das Gelände umfasst fast 8 Morgen bewaldetes Gelände, 800 Fuß Front am Lake Gogebic, einen 64 Fuß langen Pier mit Badeleiter und Shorestation-Bootszug sowie eine Feuerstelle zum Braten von Marshmallows und zum Beobachten des Sonnenuntergangs.

Genießen Sie das 4G LTE-Signal im ganzen Haus und ermöglichen Sie Anrufe und den Internetzugang von Ihrem Smartphone aus. Oder erstellen Sie mit Ihrem Smartphone einen WLAN-Hotspot, um alle Ihre Geräte zu aktivieren.

Our group of 6 had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to be back soon! Huge house, nice beds for all and tons of space. Great kitchen with everything you need. Close access to snowmobile trail, easy access to lake, etc.

The Lodge

The Lodge did not disappoint! We rented this for a snow mobile trip and while the trails had not been in the best shape that week the lodge provided us with a great home base. The place is beautiful with plenty of space. We will be using this place again on our next trip.

Trees block the incredible lake view, patio doors beautiful but taped shut

Beautiful lake frontage but over grown trees block the lake view from the deck and house- all the double patio doors were taped shut and could not be used- out of 5 deck doors only one could be used to access the deck and it was opposite of the kitchen area. Super odd. Also the oven did not heat up and the owner claimed they had plans for a fix prior to stay but it did not get fixed. Ice dispenser did not work in fridge door- ice trays all weekend. Toaster did not work and this was the first time I stayed at a VRBO that didn't have coffee at the location, which in the middle of Lake Gogebic isn't great. pretty disappointing overall - beautiful place - just needs so up keep and deep cleaning. Dead flies everywhere and dust under everything, dead bugs in lights on deck (inches deep). Huge house and bedrooms and living area were outstanding sizes for the group, just not really clean and a few disappointing things for the money.

Lake Gogebic Vacation

Great house in a private location with plenty of room for the family to spread out. House is steps away from the lake and great for swimming, boating, paddle boarding, fishing, etc. There is a restaurant (The Root Cellar) just down the road, but bring your groceries; there are limited options nearby (which host pointed out prior to or visit.)

Wedding central!

We tied the knot at Bond falls! This was the location we used for our siblings to stay with us and to get ready / do family meals. It was great! Very clean, and spacious. Beautiful master lost bedroom!!!!! (View of lake from bed) Would definitely recommend for families and get togethers up north!

Made the best of the winter

Our group of 10 snowmobilers dwindled down to 2 but we made the best of the trip. This house would have been perfect for our group if there was only snow. The owner was great to work with, plenty of parking and very clean! Hoping for snow next year!

Amazing location and view!

Great property with a great view of Lake Gogebic! If you snowmobile, boat or fish, it’s perfect, as you can access the property right off of the lake. Lots of room for everyone in the home!

Homecoming for mom

Our family gathered together at this lovely home to bring home our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Auntie to scatter her ashes in Ironwood, where she was born. The home and area are just what we needed and it was a grand celebration of a life well-lived.

Beautiful home on lake in secluded setting

Spent a week enjoying the privacy and serenity this home offered as we toured the various sites in the western U.P. At times the lack of air conditioning was an issue due to the very hot weather the week we were there and the many uncovered windows and doorwalls, but the lower level was always cool and the views through the windows were wonderful.

50th Anniversary Family Vacation

This vacation was a celebration for my parents 50th anniversary and this house and location did not disappoint. As a party of 9, we all fit comfortably in the home. The property provided the privacy, peace, and serenity we were after. A great place to unwind and really soak in the beauty that nature provides. We had kayaks delivered to the house from Sylvania Outfitters, went swimming in the lake, caught some fish, and spent many nights around the fire. Jason provided a lot of information prior to our trip and was very helpful. Porcupine Mtn. State park was beautiful and enjoyed a meal at Konteka Black Bear Resort. If I had to complain about anything I would say some of the kitchen pans / baking sheets need replaced and possibly some trash containers to place trash bags in until you are ready to drive over to the dumpster. Nothing that stopped us from having a wonderful time and building memories that we will cherish forever. Thank you Jason for sharing your home with us!
