Recently renovated, the chalet combines modern comfort with rustic charm. The open-plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for six, and a cozy lounge. The master bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom has twin beds that can be joined. Relax on the outdoor terrace, dine al fresco, or enjoy the stunning views of waterfalls and base jumpers landing in the valley.
This incredible Lauterbrunnen chalet boasts views of some of the most spectacular scenery in the Bernese Oberland. Recently renovated, the apartment has all the comforts you would wish for in your home away from home.The open plan living/dining/kitchen area offers plenty of space for the whole family. Meals can be prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. There’s a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, and as every Swiss holiday needs, a fondue set. The Dining table seats six and upon request we can provide you with a high chair. The flat screen TV has channels in many languages, there’s a blu-ray DVD player, and you can log into your Netflix account too, but you may be too busy enjoying the views from the large french doors.

The master bedroom has a large queen sized bed and the second bedroom has twin beds - crib available upon request. The bathroom has a walk in shower and double wash basins. It is equipped with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

A spacious outdoor lounge is the perfect place to dine “al fresco” with waterfall views.

Great family skiing chalet

Everything was well thought out to make an ideal base to stay at during out skiing trip. The only thing to note would be garage was a very tight fit.. width wise if you have a large car. Plenty of length & height but thought the driver may need to climb out through the boot!. ( we have a VW Touareg) Having said that its great to have a garage and once there we had no need to get it out until we left.

Fabulous stay in a fabulous setting!

We have stayed in various apartments and homes and this is by far the best equipped EVER! The apartment had everything and more to make our stay comfortable and the location of the property was just about perfect with views from the patio of the mountains and the Staubbach waterfall. Diarmuid came to greet us and gave us useful advice about the apartment and the area. The bus stop was less a minutes walk and this whisked us to the station in Lauterbrunnen in only 4 minutes. From here everything in the local area and beyond was easily accessible. Our favourite was taking in the fabulous views from Harder Kulm whilst having a relaxing drink! This part of Switzerland is a spectacular and special place made better by having such a comfortable place to come to at the end of each day.

Loved it!!

Loved our stay in this top notch apartment surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Perfect location, close to all the major attractions. Shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Great to be able to take our two dogs on all the trains and gondolas (for free) and enjoy the fantastic walking routes everywhere. Owner Diarmuid was extremely helpful and very welcoming.

The location of a lifetime

The condo unit is very nice. Great and comfortable furnishings, nice space, good cooking equipment, a washer, dryer and comfortable bed. The owner was flexible with our departure time and gave us great advice on how to spend our time in the valley. It is a pleasant walk and easy bus ride to Lauterbrunnen and other locations in the valley. All of that warrants a high ranking but the views are astounding. On one side is the beautiful Stellbach Falls, on another is the view looking down the valley to the stunning snowcapped JungFrau. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could have spent more than our 4 days and 3 nights at this location.

Beautiful and excellent facilities.

Diarmuid was a great host, very informative in helping us to dicide about places to visit during our short stayed in Lauterbrunnen. The house very cleaned and well equipped,comfortable beds.The view from the house is fantastic. Very strategic location as it is close to the bus stand and within a walking distance to the town.

Spectacular Swiss Stay

As a family of five we had an amazing time at this wonderful chalet. Fabulous spotless accomodation with lovely views of the waterfall and snow capped mountains. It was nice to be able to walk into the village...hardly used the car at all. Plenty of walks in the vicinity...from the chalet or just a train or cable car ride away. This was our fourth holiday in Lauterbrunnen... we just keep on going back !! Thank you, a lovely time had by all.

Fantastic apartment beautiful location

We could have not chosen a better apartment or village to base ourselves for our stay in the Swiss Alps The apartment itself is situated in a small complex about a 10-15 minute walk or three stops on the bus from the rail station in the village. Everything is so accessible from the apartment and being in Switzerland we quickly learned that transport timetables are completely reliable. You really do not need a car if you chose to base yourself here. The apartment was very clean and spacious and the owners were fantastic to deal with. The kitchen is well equipped and being on the ground floor our children were able to run around outside without having to use the main door. Diarmuid popped round soon after our arrival and took the time to orientate us and recommend walks and things to do in the area We felt that we made an excellent choice both with the location and apartment itself. Highly recommended on both counts for a fantastic stay in the beautiful Swiss alps

The perfect retreat in a magical setting

This truly is a stunning apartment in a perfect location for exploring the Berner Oberland. This was our first trip to Switzerland and after some careful research we decided to make Lauterbrunnen our base for the week. Neither the village nor Cascia and Diarmuid's beautiful apartment disappointed, and both became a perfect retreat at the end of a busy day's adventures! Cascia was so accommodating after our flight was delayed and really took the time to ensure we had everything that we needed in the apartment for our stay. She offered great suggestions for things to see and do in the area and it was wonderful to have some insider knowledge. The apartment itself is impeccably clean, modern and the best-equipped I have ever stayed in. From towels to cooking oil, every need had been considered for guests staying there and it made our stay so relaxing and comfortable. We spent many mornings and evenings on the patio just admiring the amazing view of the waterfalls and snow-capped mountains over a cup of coffee or glass of wine - the most incredible start and finish to busy days of hiking and sightseeing! We cannot thank Cascia and Diarmuid enough for their hospitality and hope to make a return visit in the near future. Danke vielmals!

Perfect for family of five

Ideal location right at the base of the Staubbach falls in Lauterbrunnen. So glad we stayed in charming Lauterbrunnen and not another town. Everything was perfect and perfectly clean for our family of five down to the fact that there was a fondue pot and a raclette grill. Wouldn't change a thing about this chalet condo and its amenities. Darmuid was very welcoming and gave us good advice for things to do with kids (ages 8,10, 14) for the week (some of which we should have taken and didn't: Don't leave any later than 8 am for the Jungfrau or you will get caught in hoards of tourist groups). My kids immediately took to the nearby stream, playground, bridges and fields-- the foreground surrounded by alps and waterfalls in the background. Epic playtime!

A gem of a find.

We find usually the photos of the accomodation are better than the real thing. This appartment was better than the photos! Everything was like new, clean and all the appliances worked. The kitchen was very well equipped. Bathroom quite large (lots of hot water) and beds clean and comfy. We did not use the car all week. The cable cars and trains are wonderful and on time. Walks can be as difficult or as easy as you want and are well signposted. On a clear day do not hesitate go to Schilthorn as the views are magnificent. Eating out can be very expensive but the camp site over the river at the side of the appartment is good value fresh food with friendly service and not too far to walk back after a busy day. The town is 10 minutes walk with bank, supermarket, cafes, restaurants etc. We realised we could not have been more central and liked Lauterbrunnen the best of the towns around. I would have no hesitation at all to recommend this property.

Lovely property in fantastic location.

The apartment is in a great location in a beautiful part of Switzerland. We have been to lauterbrunnen 5 times now and this experience rates amongst the best. The hosts were extremely attentive and everything was well explained and easy to connect with. An excellent holiday experience.

Komfortable Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage

Bei unserer Ankunft fanden wir eine komfortable Ferienwohnung vor die der Beschreibung entsprach. Die Ferienwohnung liegt ruhig in einer Ferienhaussiedlung mit guter Nahverkehrsanbindung. Mit Skischuhen lässt sich die Haltestelle in 2 Minuten erreichen. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und lädt zum Faulenzen nach einem langen Skitag ein. Die Ausstattung mit Geräten in der Küche und zum Entertainment ist üppig und WLAN ist selbstverständlich. Sauberkeit und Ordnung lassen keine Wünsche offen. D. kümmerte sich vorbildlich um unser Wohlergehen und bereits vor der Anreise erhielten wir viele Tipps zum Skifahren und den örtlichen Gegebenheiten. Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen oder unseren Freunden empfehlen.

Great appartment in a a very nice valley !

The appartment is really nice. Everything is good condition. A perfect kitchen with a very easy to handle pot for cheese fondue. The bathroom is large and has everything you need. We were here now for the secend time. The bus to the ski resorts start 50m away from the appartment. Just perfect ! The owners are very very friendly.

Great apartment , fantastic location

Our stay in this apartment was great, it was really clean and the location was perfect. We loved the setting and it was very peaceful.. The owners were extremely lovely to deal with and the description of their apartment was accurate. The apartment was well set up and included tracking sticks that were fantastic to use on the mountain walks plus everything else you could possibly think of. We spent 8 days here and there was just so much to see and do I wish we had booked for longer. The scenery from the apartment is picturesque and the beautiful stream and river just added to the appeal of the place. We bought a 5 day Jungfrau pass and used the train, cable cars and the boats in Interlaken. There are so many opportunities to walk beautiful tracks in the mountains plus flat paths near the village. We visited a couple of the restaurants and cafe's that Cassia and D recommended in there guest booklet and they were all really good. We would definitely recommend this property and hope we will be able to visit again. Banff Family Qld Australia

Luxory Apartment in Perfect Location

We recently spent a week in the accommodation on the outskirts of Lauterbrunnen (10 min walk to the train station). The apartment is in a beautiful location with great views down the valley to snowcapped peaks and waterfalls. The apartment is fitted out to a very high standard, with all the little extras (cooking spices, washing powder, dishwasher tablets etc etc), provided to make the stay so very easy and enjoyable. Eating out in Switzerland is very expensive, so having a fully fitted kitchen with lots of crockery and utensils etc enabled us to cook great food at an affordable price. There is a well-stocked supermarket in Lauterbrunnen open 7 days a week. Booking was very easy, lots of pre-arrival information was provided upfront, and Cascia and D were available to help with local advice on passes, sightseeing etc. Overall, the apartment had a real luxurious feel about it, and was in a very peaceful and quiet location. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it to friends.

We will definitely come back

We spend a wonderful week in this chalet this August. We were 2 parents and 3 kids (13, 9, and 3). It was perfect in every way - size, shape and location, exactly as you can see in the official site. All the pictures are magically true to life - the falls and the rivers and the green and the mountains. One fall and one little river are practically on the porch! Cassia, the owner, was friendly and charming. I really don't have anything bad to say. We will definitely come back again - next time for 2 weeks! Treasure in Lauterbrunnen

My wife and I recently stayed in Lauterbrunnen, from which we had a magnificent week in the Bernese Oberland area. Contributing greatly to our experience was where we stayed. We elected to rent an apartment for the week, and chose one just outside of the main part of town (about a 10-minute walk from the train station). The apartment is in a residential complex of chalet type buildings. The apartment itself was modern, with a living room, a kitchen equipped with many amenities, two bedrooms and a bathroom (the shower has great water pressure). The apartment had the added benefit of a washing machine and dryer, which was a huge advantage for us. The apartment is on the ground floor and has a patio with a table, chairs and BBQ. But most of all, it is in the shadow of the beautiful Staubach Falls. It was an amazing place to sit and have a glass of wine before dinner. A critical component of going the route of renting apartment vs. a staying in a hotel, is the people you have to deal with for the rental. Our experience with this property began with my first communication with the owner/manager, who did an excellent job in answering all of my questions, accommodating certain important requests and being attentive/not intrusive once we arrived. It was clear that the comfort and concerns of her clients is of the highest importance to her. If you're thinking of staying in the Lauterbrunnen are, you'll do well to consider renting this apartment. I know we will definitely return and I look forward to staying in the apartment again.

Best ski holiday

We had a fantastic week skiing staying in what is a superb location to ski in Wengen, Murren and even Grindlewald. There were a large party of us and we had rented a number of apartments in the same location. Everyone agreed that this apartment was by far the most well equipped and stylishly decorated of the three apartments rented by our group. Cascia was extremely helpful both ahead of our arrival and by calling us on the mobile phone in the apartment during our stay to check everything was OK with our visit. We had no emergencies or problems during our stay but I certainly got the impression that if there was a problem then I could call Cascia and she would help sort out any issues. We have visited Lauterbrunnen before a number of times both in summer and winter to ski and have to say it is a "hidden gem" in the mountains. Our children are 20 and 15 and don't always holiday with us but don't often refuse a visit to Lauterbrunnen. Unfortunately our 15 year old son broke his collar bone shortly before our trip and therefore wasn't able to ski but with a "hiking and sledging" pass he was able to get himself to pre-arranged lunch stops to still be part of the holiday. He certainly made the most of the apartments satellite TV and Wi-fi for Internet access. We know we will be returning to Lauterbrunnen and will certainly attempt to book this apartment as our first choice, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Great apartment and fantastic hosts!

The apartment was as we expected, very clean and comfortable, plenty of room to spread out and our family of 5 was easily accomodated during our weeks stay. All the mod cons needed. The service provided before, during and after our stay was exceptional! Cascia helped us out by shopping for us as we arrived on Christmas Eve ... THANKS The apartment is located with easy access to both Murren and Wengen ski fields in a very picturesque Swiss Alpine setting, close to transport/shops, away from the main road with a fantastic outlook/view. Would definitely recommend to others, hopefully we'll be back one day!

Best Apartment to stay in Lauterbrunnen!!

This was the most awesome place to have rented. We really didn't know much about Lauterbrunnen, but being in this town and staying at the holiday apartment was just the best. Lauterbrunnen is a lot more quiet than Interlaken and has less places to eat, but the scenery is just amazing and well worth the stay there! It only takes about 20 minutes with public transportation to get down to Interlaken. The facilities were so nice!!!! Very clean and modern. Nice kitchen, bathroom, laundry facitilies and the bedrooms were great!!! The apartment fits 4 people very easily but could fit six. The heated floor was amazing after being out in the cold. We loved looking at the mountains and the waterfalls right outside the patio door. Just breathtaking!!! We enjoyed going to the Top of the Alps, taking the tram to the villages above us and just enjoying the beauty of Switzerland. It was a perfect place to stay for the daytrips we took around the Berner Oberland. It was so nice to come home from a day of sightseeing and relax in this lovely apartment. We really felt at home. The owners have done a very nice job and they were great to work with. If we could go back each year we would and it was very memorable for our family. If you want a spacious place to stay in a great scenic getaway, this is the place!!
