A truly fabulous property

We’ve just had an amazing stay at this property as a group of eleven (two families) with children aging from 8-13. You will struggle to go wrong with this place - it’s awesome. The kitchen is great, lounge comfy and dining space ample. The “hideaway” club facilities down the road are good too. Pool, slides, lazy river and drinks etc are nice. Gym good too. Driveway big enough for two big vehicles, garage with a few games for kids, washer dryer. Wi-Fi was brilliant, smart TV in lounge and big fridge freezer with filtered water / ice. BBQ looked new and was great to use. All rooms nice / beds comfy with a couple of big bathrooms and a number of smaller ones. Place felt spacious despite lots of kids and adults. The pool is a nice size, could be a stretch if all 11 wanted to get in, but was fine for us. The ‘hot tub’ is the same water temp as the pool but with bubbles (still lovely but not a hot tub as I would know one in the UK). Niggles for balance only: - Lacks a clothes airer for those that can’t dry in a drier and wont dry outside due to humidity - Pls update the main picture in the listing. The view from pool is now very different with lots of new properties and a bridge next to property (no issue - all lovely to look at) - We reported an issue with the pool, good comms but took just over a day to sort meaning one lost pool day (not major) - Strict one bin bag per day rule on managed site hard to stick to with 11 people. Overall - you should BOOK this fab place.

Lovely Villa & Resort

We had a fantastic family stay at this lovely villa. Ideally located on the Storey Lake Resort, with a South Westerly rear view over a quiet lake. The clubhouse was a 2-3 mins walk away with it’s lazy river, waterslides, splashpark etc. That was a huge asset in entertaining the kids. Disney a very simple drive, around 20 mins away. Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within a very short drive. The villa was very clean and tidy, decorated to a nice modern standard. The 6 beds, 5 bathrooms handled a large family group with ease as the villa is pretty spacious. There is pedestrian bridge just to one side of the villa, but hardly anyone uses that (1 person per hour maybe during our stay). Being lakeside means the outside rear pool was pretty quiet and ideal for an evening chill out. The gas BBQ included came in very useful for that too and big enough for family sized catering. There maybe could have been more outside furniture, but not really a showstopper. The open plan kitchen / living room along with decking area allowed for plenty of space for the extending family to liaise. A couple of large screen tv’s, converted garage games room & complementary wifi were useful too. The upstairs master bedroom, ensuite & walk in wardrobe were massive and proved a hit with the lucky occupants. All the bedrooms were tidy & well decorated. We had a lovely family stay at this villa (and Storey Lake Resort). We have stayed in a number of Orlando area villas over the years and this this proved to be the best one yet. Well recommended.

Lovely villa

The villa was lovely and clean very good position, close to the club house .The negatives, its a 6 bedroom villa sleeps 13 guest. The problem being ,only 4 outdoor chairs and 2 lounges. Not enough outdoor space, no pool towels, no plastic glasses for pool area, no kettle( we bought one) Games room very, very basic, washing and drying very basic, only one small towel(bathroom) per person, only 2 hair dryers in the villa, pool heating broke down twice! Kitchen utensils , very limited . Lots of hidden costs ( check other charges before booking) We paid over 200 for insurance that covered only 400 worth of damages. Normally pay a deposit which is returned once the villa as been checked etc. Paying quite a lot of insurance and getting nothing back, is very annoying!! The resort its self is fantastic! Would certainly stay on Storey Lake again but not at this property for the reasons I mentioned above. The villa is in my opinion over priced for the facilities

Nice Stay

Property fit our family well and we had a nice stay. They do need to update picture of view because has changed. Did not impact our visit, but picture is out of date (developed on other side of lake and there is a bridge). TVs a little cluncky to use, but did not spend much time watching tv. Water park area is nice and short walk to get there. Be aware need to pay for some things at the park (miniature golf, kayaks, etc.) Pool, waterslide and splashpad free. Baby guard on pool was helpful.

Perfect for Large Families

This house is perfect for large families. The house was clean, rooms were large with different options of beds in several of the rooms. The house is close proximity, quick walk to the community area where you find a large pool, lazy river, water slides and more. We got the pool heated for our stay in December and glad we did, nights cooled down, but with the heated pool the kids were not deterred from swimming. The BBQ grill was clean and very convenient for family dinners. Only thing we wish this property had was pool/beach towels to take to the community pool. We’ve stayed at Storey Lake Resort twice now and have enjoyed the resort amenities and close proximity to Disney, Universal and so much more.

Great Large home

Rented this home for 5 adults for 3 nights. I chose this home so we could not only each have our own room & bath, but also because it had two living areas and a pool patio giving everyone ample space to spread out & have some alone time. The home was neat & clean and the management was very easy to work with. I also appreciated the fact that we could pre-register which was a convenience. Would definitely stay here again.

Felt like a home away from home

Not a fan of the misleading cover photo. There are homes across the way and a bridge and walking path 5 from the pool. The cover photo as of July 2024 shows no homes or a bridge in the back yard. The view is drastically different and it’s not an accident. They need to update that photo and I’d give it a 5 star. The home is great for groups needing 6 rooms. This isn’t a home for young kids as much as it is for families with older kids or groups of people. It would be great for a work trip. Over all it was great.

Home away from home

When looking for a place to stay for our family vacation we knew we needed a bigger place for all 10 of us. This house was perfect for all of us! Everyone had their own room and bed and with a full kitchen and living area we didn’t have to worry about anything. Pool was great and we all enjoyed our stay. The only thing we weren’t happy with is that there was no heat for the hot tub. We were so looking forward after a day at the parks to be able to relax in a hot tub. The other thing is we had a hard time finding a dumpster for our final out. With a family of 10 we did have more trash by the end of the stay and being able to only put one bag out was hard. We had to go hunt the area for a dumpster to throw our trash out. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much! The guys enjoyed being able to fish as well. When we get ready to book our next family trip to Orlando we will for sure use VRBO again!

Our stay was amazing. This home does not disappoint, it was hard to leave! Everything is as pictured. The residence is well kept, clean and stocked. We loved the family of ducks that stopped to visit every day.

Best Property in Stoney Lake

Clean, large home walking distance to the clubhouse and pool. Pre-registration is a game changer.. no lining up with the crowds at 4pm to enter the subdivision. Management company is the friendliest annd most efficient we have encountered here, and we have rented many times.

Pleasant stay despite weather

House was very nice and easily accommodated 8 adults and 2 children. We were very happy to have the pool since it rained the entire time we were there but the kids didn't mind they were already getting wet. If you go in the winter months definitely have the pool heater turned on. I'm one day it made such a difference. Wish we could have used the other amenities but the weather didn't cooperate. Would definitely stay here again

Quiet area and beautiful home

We enjoyed our stay, the location was good. However, the gates were never closed like other areas of story lake so definitely not a gated area. The house had plenty of room, parking for 3 cars, all kitchen utensils. There was no propane on arrival, but was quickly resolved the next day. The communication only being between certian hours isn't ideal. There was no check out instructions, for garbage, linens, etc. I was left to assume the cleaning fee covers this. We had a leak on our second last night, which was left for 18 hours, a safety hazard leaking water with electrical near by. Over all our stay was good, but definitely feel theres room for improvement.

Nice house, lots of rooms & very roomy. The only thing i would change would be to put a ceiling fan in the living room. It gets warm with the blinds opened. Overall great place to stay!! Resort area nice!

Great house that met almost all our needs

This place was fantastic. Even the spa was hot. I wish it did have a little more privacy. The people next door were smokers and very loud and could even hear them in the upstairs master. This is beyond the rental companies control. Just worth mentioning. The only other thing we noticed was that the game room was not as shown. There is no air hockey table as pictured. The air in the Mikey Mouse room was not blowing. Every other room seemed to cool down at the set temp of 72 as noted you can not lower it past that point. My teenage boys did say they had a hard time sleeping all night. We did not notice this in the upstairs master or in any of the other rooms. These were very minor critiques and by no means drastically affected our experience and I still would highly recommend this property. The cleaning upon arrival was great and I didn’t not notice any issue. There was more things even offered then mentioned. Like soap for dishes and some extra bags. Thank you for making our stay a great one!

8 Nights - jus not enough

Loved the entire property; the house and pool/jaccuzzi, the lake, the hideaway club -everything! The house is so well stocked. A couple with a baby visited us and the play pen and stroller came in sooooo handy. The separate upstairs den was perfect for the teenagers. This is our second stay at Storey Lake and we will definitely be back again. Oh btw, the staff is very responsive and helpful too. Love, love, love this place.

Perfect family vacation

We stayed here with extended family and it was absolutely wonderful. Easy location to get to any of the parks in Orlando, but also private enough for a quiet pool day. We were already planning our next vacation here before we left!!
