About this property

Rehoboth by the Sea Oceanfront Paradise!

Our two story oceanfront townhouse provides immediate access to Delaware's premiere family beach and private shore community. Walk directly out of our home onto the pristine, inviting beach! With only 36 homes, the beach always has room to spread out and relax. Swim, paddle board, ride your bike or sun bathe...memories from "Fundadore" will linger for a life time.

Our home in the Seastrand Community has central air, heat, ceiling fans, an outside shower, beach chairs, umbrellas, various beach toys, and two parking spaces. It sleeps six and has two full bathrooms as well as a half bathroom. The boardwalk leading to the charming town of Rehoboth is only a three block walk by street or beach. The community is private and does not allow beach access to the public.

Rehoboth is one of the most sought after beach communities to rent a home on the Delaware shore. Walking is a treat but the Jolly Trolly will take you and your family and friends into town to avoid peak parking times. The nearby Tanger outlets provide a wide variety a stores and deals. Fifers Farm market is also walking distance from our oceanfront home.

There is an old fashioned boardwalk in town with many restaurants and shops. Our children grew up going to "Funland" where they loved the games and rides - right on the beach. Weekend evening concerts in the Gazebo are best followed up by a big ice cream cone on the walk . Enjoy the relaxation of a stay at our oceanfront home!

October 2024 getaway

Loved it as usual. I might offer two suggestions: 1) cleaners should clean the bathrooms and kitchen better - kitchen floor and counter were not 100% clean and the master bathroom floor was a bit dirty and 2) the carpet from master bathroom and middle bathroom on the second floor seems really dirty this year. Otherwise we had a wonderful time. The grill worked terrifically. The appliances were all functioning correctly. the new deck chairs are smart! We will be back next year or the year after depending on our schedules. We really enjoy the location along with the character and feel of the place. Sincerely, Rick and Nancy

Beach Vacation

If you want a secluded vacation at the beach, this is the most perfect accommodation I can recommend. My family was very happy. My five year old granddaughter thought it was "wonderful"! I agree. Janet was easy to deal with. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Location, location, location!

The description of this property is spot on - the location on a quiet part of the beach, basically between Dewey and Rehoboth was awesome! The condo is really just steps from the beach, and you have a fantastic view from the master bedroom. Its a comfortable size for a small group - there were just three of us on this trip, but it can handle a few more. The screened in porch was great for dinners with the sound of the ocean right there. Comfortable living room and a new TV with all the streaming apps available (at least all the ones we needed). And the property manager/owner couldn't have been more helpful and responsive. Had a question or two about the property and she got right back to us - great service! Its a short walk to Dewey beach to the south, and about 1/4 mile to the start of the Rehoboth boardwalk to the North. On the beach, it was never crowded, and we were there at peak August timing. Would stay here again.

We had a terrific time. Right on the beach. Roughly a 10-minute walk to Poodle Beach and not too far from downtown. Well-equipped with chairs and umbrellas. We enjoyed the porch and living room. Easy check-in.

Beautiful location and well equipped

You cannot beat the location: relatively close to the shops and restaurants in Rehoboth but still quiet and peaceful on the beach. My husband, infant son, and I had tons of space to relax. The decor and furnishings are overall quite dated but everything is in good condition. The host was always quick to answer questions.

Perfect beach getaway

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at the beach here. The location was perfect, we could enjoy the salt air, the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves while we ate breakfast in the sun room, lounged on the deck in the evening and all night with the windows open. The beach is so close you barely need to pack a cooler and the property had more than enough room for our family of four to be comfortable. Rehoboth & Dewey are both a brief walk, trolley ride or quick drive away. It was a great place to enjoy a week away!

Wonderful location

Our family had a great vacation at Janet’s home. The location right on a private beach was wonderful and we loved the gorgeous view from the second level. The house was nice and when there was a small issue, Janet immediately arranged to have it fixed, which we appreciated. We hope to return for another visit!

You can’t beat the location of this property. We had a front row seat watching the rough ocean waves on two of the days and two other days of beautiful sunshine. It’s always a great spot and I’m sure we will try to stay there again.

Beautiful home and location!

We had the best time. It was our first vacation since having our baby, and it was perfect. The home was beautiful, and had everything we needed to spend time at the beach - chairs, toys, etc. It was also a quick walk or drive away from a ton of amazing restaurants and the boardwalk, and we loved the outdoor shower and gorgeous views. The back deck was so nice to relax outside at night too. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!!!

The Perfect Beach Spot!

Couldn’t be happier with our vacation at “Fundadore!” It’s a beautiful home (VERY clean) with all the amenities you could want. The private beach right behind the house is completely hidden behind the dunes and very quiet; from there you’re just a few steps from the ocean. The location is perfect: easy waking to downtown Rehoboth and Dewey but far enough from both to be quiet and feel secluded. Janet is a wonderful host and very responsive. Just an absolute A+ all around and we hope to be back next year!
