Fantastic accommodation, beautiful house, fabulous location!!!

We completely fell in love with this beautiful home in a fabulous location. So much attention to detail, we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The location is just a short walk into the centre of Washington and near to all the amenities. We had a brilliant time here. Thank you!

Washington DC visit

The house was very well kept and had everything a guest could need. The host was super responsive in a very quick fashion to every question we had or every need we encountered. The bus systems were super close to the home and it made it easy to go into center DC. All in all, you couldn't go wrong renting this home!

Great house!

We had a nice time staying at this property. It was clean, owner was nice and helpful, easy to navigate and parking on site was perfect. We enjoyed walking everywhere and the property was about 30 min walk to all the sites we wanted to see in the downtown area and being in a commuter city it was so easy and safe to walk. A couple small things we would suggest that would of made our stay even better would of been having summer quilts on the beds, the down comforters were too hot in the summer. Treads on the wooden stairs they are beautiful but slippery! Coat hooks at the front door. Also a list of a few nearby restaurant would have been nice to help us find quick meals near the house. Note: Be careful to not use the bathroom sinks while someone is showering they can adjust the temps in the shower.

Nice home away from home

The property was exactly as advertised - a few blocks away from the Capital. The property was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated the comfortable beds and the much-needed air conditioning. We typically grabbed an Uber to get to where we needed to go. Ed was great with communication. One recommendation: have a visitor's book. We always like to see what other guests recommend for restaurants, local must-see stops, etc.

Sister trip to DC

This is a beautiful space! It was exactly as pictured on line. We loved everything about it. Throughly enjoyed the courtyard for morning coffee and dinner. Stayed with my 3 sisters. So convenient for walking to all of the sites, memorials and Eastern Market. Off street parking was a huge plus highly recommend for adults who like to walk and sight see

Classy Capitol Hill

Property did not disappoint. Pictures true to form. Very comfortable setting. Beautifully decorated. Outdoor patio and garden were an added pleasure. Location was close to H street where there were restaurants all within walking distance. Would like to come back .

Loved this place!

When we pulled up my kids were so excited, curb appeal is 10/10! When we walked in I was instantly comfortable. Place was immaculate, had everything you would need, including a notebook of house rules/instructions and tons of maps for site seeing. Location was awesome and a great neighborhood to walk around and just take in the old fashioned vibe of the homes. Also has shared off street parking which is hard to find so yes definitely recommend 😁 Ed was the best host as well. He is incredibly responsive and just so so nice and that is always a breath of fresh air! Definitely recommend staying here if you're in town, you won't regret it. Highly recommend getting a bus/subway pass for your stay, makes life so much easier.

DC trip with the family

This was a great spot to stay for our entire trip. It was close to everything we wanted to see. We used Uber to get to all the sights. The home was well stocked with paper supplies and kitchen items. We enjoyed the outside patio area.

Great stay!

This was a great home base for our DC adventures! It was comfortable, clean, and well stocked (I really appreciated that there was enough toilet paper and tissues for our stay). The laundry machine was great too. The location felt very safe and close to what we wanted to see. The Uber costs were reasonable as well, when we used that instead of walking. The parking space was great, as we drove to DC, but didn't want to use the car around town. Communication with Ed was great and very responsive. Highly recommended this place! Thanks!

Clean, comfortable, well appointed!

This was a great property to stay at. The home was exactly as advertised, and was very comfortable for 4 (2 adults, 1 child, 1 senior). It had lots of amenities with plenty of seating and thoughtful features (it was nice to stay at a VRBO with towel bars to hang more than 2 towels!) The kitchen had pots and pans, knives, and other cooking utensils. The spiral staircase was narrow, and a bit tricky for a senior travelling with us to go up and down, but we knew that going in, so we were prepared for it. It was a very good place to stay, and I would definitely rent again. Many thanks to Ed for being so accommodating and a gracious host!

Large unique space for 4

Really nice and unique space for up to 4 adults to sleep, and a few more for entertaining. Great location near extended family and can easily get to most everything via ride share or walk.

DC family vacation

We had a great experience staying at this property for our vacation. It’s a quick drive to the National Mall and The Spy Museum which was a family favorite. It was a great central location to venture out to the Air and Space museum in Virginia and a day trip to Annapolis. The house is clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!
