Waterfront Family Retreat, heated pool, 2 miles from the Beach
HEATED POOL! Cleaning discount consideration for parties of 2 and/or short stays.
Located on Forked Creek canal, this vacation home is in Overbrook Gardens, a quiet golf cart community, 2.2. miles from the beach, & minutes from shopping in Venice.
Bring your boat to launch at one of the nearby public boat ramps to enjoy a 15 minute boat ride to the ICW, beaches, & world class fishing.
The space
pool home set on a spacious waterfront corner lot, located in a family-friendly quiet golf cart neighborhood, 2.2 miles from the beach.
The entire backyard is waterfront with a small fishing pier perfect for catching mangrove snapper for dinner.
Cool off in the 16x20 heated pool after a long hot day at the beach!
The main living space has a newer kitchen, fully stocked with everything you need for meal preparation, a dining table for 6, 4 bar-height seats at the counter, a large sofa, 2 swivel chairs, and a large TV with adjustable mounting bracket. Access the lanai from the main living area.
Enjoy a beautiful sunset every evening, dinner for 8 al fresco, or a game of darts, from the screened-in lanai.
Guest access
The garage houses a beach cart with cooler bag, 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys, bikes, kayaks, pool toys, fishing poles, and a shrimp bucket.
Other things to note
Due to Hurricane Milton, the lanai screens are currently missing. We expect them to be replaced June 1.
While trailers/boats can be parked on our lot, boats are not permitted to dock at our shallow fishing pier, without prior authorization and additional fee. Inquire about potential boat dockage on site for an additional fee.

We are from Westlake, OH. We enjoy boating on Lake Erie all summer long.
Why they chose this property
We purchased our home in Overbrook Gardens as our future retirement home. We plan to spend summers on Lake Erie and winters in Englewood. We specifically chose Englewood for our future retirement because it’s one of the few quaint old world beach towns left on the gulf. It’s a modest beach town with little traffic, beautiful beaches, and friendly neighbors.
What makes this property unique
Our home sits on an oversized corner lot with tons of room for kids to play outside. We enjoy +/- 60’ canal frontage active with wildlife and a small fishing pier.
