Toller Urlaub in einer tollen Gegend in einer tollen Unterkunft

Der Urlaub am Comer See in Nesso war wunderschön. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend, sehr groß und vor allem der Ausblick von der Terrasse, wo wir gefrühstückt und abends gesessen haben, ist phantastisch. Die Kommunikation mit John (Eigentümer) und Djego (Cousin un Ansprechpartner vor Ort) war völlig entspannt. Dank der guten Busverbindung (Bushaltestelle mit kleinem Café unmittelbar vor dem Grundstück) nach Como und Bellagio mit Anschluss an Fähre und sonstigen Bootstouren haben wir das Auto bis zur Abreise überhaupt nicht bewegt. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Von hieraus nochmals viele Grüße und vielen Dank an John und Djego. Anmerkung: Man sollte vorzugsweise mit einen Automatik anreisen, da die Straßen- und deren Steigungsverhältnisse (u.a. Auffahrt zum Grundstück) teilweise „nicht ganz einfach“ sind.

Prachtig huis in Nesso

Het huis is prachtig gelegen, met een adembenemend uitzicht over het Comomeer. 2 grote slaapkamers grote keuken en woonkamer. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Eigen parkeerplaats. Goed restaurant om de hoek en kleine supermarkt op 5 minuten loopafstand.

Lovely property, in great area. In need of updating, but comfortable with everything you need. Had some great meals on the balcony. Ferry to lots of places on lake 10mins walk away.

Peaceful Nesso

My wife, 3 year old son and I all really enjoyed our stay in Nesso. It was a peaceful town to stay in with a short walk to the market and waterfall and there was a private place to park. It is also located right next to the bus stop if wanting to go to Como or Bellagio by bus instead of driving. Nesso was a great place to stay since easy to get to Como and Bellagio and then ferries from there with or without a car. The host was very responsive to inquiries and accommodating. We had a wonderful trip at our home away from home and hope to go visit again in the future!

Wonderful stay

We had a great time in Nesso. The house is very comfortable, well appointed and clean with large bedrooms and principal rooms. It is also easy to find and convenient to bus stops. Parking is easy if you have a car although we don't think you need a car to enjoy this place. The views from the rooms and the terrace are beautiful and we enjoyed hiking around the village and in the surrounding hills. It was easy to take the local bus for day trips to Bellagio and Como. Also we arrived by boat from Como which was ended up being a wonderful tour of the lake. One word of caution - there are steep stairs or a longer trail from the boat dock to the main road where the house is located, so I would not recommend arriving by boat to anyone with mobility concerns.

Lovely

We loved staying in this beautiful place. Roomy apartment, huge kitchen, big comfortable living room, beautiful views of the lake, large verandah, parking, and best of all, it's location with Nesso at the bottom of the driveway. We stopped in at the bar every afternoon for Aperatif, had dinner at the local restaurant and at the pizzaria walking distance up the hill. The bus stops at the bottom of the driveway, there is a little market a bit further past the bar and the ferry stop is a 10 minute walk farther down the hill.

Wohnung mit tollem Ausblick

Wir haben schöne Tage dort verbracht. Saubere, gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit kleinen Mängeln. Kaffeemaschine und Toaster könnten mal ausgetauscht werden. Der Föhn, der nicht funktionierte, wurde gleich ersetzt. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist das Beste. Netter Kontakt zu John per Mail und Diego vor Ort. Im Ort ist nicht viel los. Wer was erleben möchte , muss nach Como oder Bellagio fahren. Typisches altes italienisches Dorf.

Fabulous

Just fabulous! The location of the apartment is amazing. The view of the lake is stunning. The apartment is traditional and has everything we needed and is clean and comfortable. Even during the hot weather it is possible to keep it cool and comfortable with the shutters and lake breeze. We spent most of our down time on the balcony just enjoying the afternoon sun and the view. Parking is great which in that area is a bonus. The village of Nesso is delightful and it is great not always having to go in the car. From the apartment it is a 2 min walk to a bar/cafe for breakfast/coffee/drinks and we walked to 2 restaurants, the gelateria and a pizza bar during our stay. We definitely hope to return!

Great villa with great view.

We had a lovely stay in this Villa in the heart of Nesso. From the amazing view to the spacious rooms to the ample parking we could not have been happier. John the owner communicated well and his cousin Diego who manages the property was always kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

Les lacs Italiens : Une merveille

Notre préférence va au le lac de Come. Notre villa était belle et trés bien située, mais mal isolée phoniquement, car située au dessus de la route. Mais ça restait acceptable . Nessos trés beau village idéalement situé pour les déplacements en ferry. Beaucoup de monde, donc eviter les périodes de vacance.

Schöner Urlaub am Comer See

Der Balkon bietet einen fantastischen Blick auf den See. So haben wir herrlich entspannte Abende dort verbracht. Die steile Auffahrt erfordert etwas Mut, ist aber machbar. Vielleicht wäre ein kleines Hinweisschild nützlich, wir sind zunächst zweimal dran vorbeigefahren. Die Wohnung ist groß, auch gut geeignet für befreundete Paare. Die Küchenausstattung ist teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen. John, der Vermieter, ist jederzeit per eMail erreichbar und hat direkt nach unserer Info für Nachschub von neuer Pfanne und Topf gesorgt. Den restlichen Töpfen fehlen die Deckel und sie sind ziemlich zerkratzt. Die Kaffeemaschine ist nicht benutzbar. Diese kleinen Einschränkungen haben unser Urlaubsvergnügen jedoch nicht getrübt und wir können die Wohnung weiter empfehlen.

Can’t recommend it enough!

We absolutely loved our stay at this Nesso villa. Photos don’t do it justice. With sweeping views across Lake Como, our 5 night stay was like paradise. The location was ideal for us, we did many hikes around Nesso and loved being outside the main tourist area. The fully equipped kitchen was just want we needed, and meant we enjoyed a lot of meals on the balcony soaking up the view.

An enchanting experience in a wonderful town

The property is a very authentic, older Italian house with a great deck, large windows and unbeatable views of the lake. It has all the conveniences of home. The local property manager is there to make sure all goes well without being obtrusive in any way. Recommend this home as a great place to explore the lake particularly for longer stays.

This is my family home.I spend at least three months there in an apartment downstairs. I am a retired Professor who lives in St.Louis, Mo.USA. I was born in Nesso and this was the house my father built when he retired. It has been completely redone.
