Esta casa es la experiencia de Cape Cod. Estamos a 6/10 de milla de Old Silver Beach, donde hay algunas de las aguas más cálidas del Cabo y la playa más arenosa (sin rocas). La playa tiene duchas, bares y dunas de arena poco profundas. Es una corta caminata o bajada de la casa. En la casa tenemos una gran ducha exterior con área para cambiarse, una gran terraza con bancos, mesa y sillas y una gran parrilla para cocinar con vista a un patio muy grande para los niños.

Hay 5 reinas, 4 plenas, 1 gemela y una cuna para acomodar hasta 14 personas. Hay 3 baños completos en la casa. Una de las camas queen y uno de los baños se encuentra en un apartamento estudio conectado a la casa principal. El apartamento estudio también tiene una cocina y una pequeña sala de estar y será de uso gratuito.

Tenemos un nuevo carril bici detrás de nuestra casa. The Shining Sea Bikepath tiene una entrada para nuestro vecindario a 200 yardas de nuestra casa. Este camino te llevará hasta Woods Hole. Para el entretenimiento nocturno tenemos una mesa de billar / ping pong de tamaño profesional. Para aquellos que desean mantener una rutina de ejercicios, tenemos una cinta para correr, una bicicleta estacionaria y un banco de pesas libres.

Mid August Stay

Our group of 11 (9 adults, 2 children) had a great stay in this property. The house is spacious with a nice yard for the kids to play in. We had a sunny week, but still enjoyed the game room in the basement. With the beach and bike trail so close, there was always something to do outside. We were a little unsure if our 5 smallish cars would fit in the parking areas, but there was plenty of room. Our only surprise was that some of the beds that we expected to be queens, were actually doubles. Overall, this is a great place to stay for a large family group.

Phenomenal time, cloudy days and evenings were fun playing pool, ping pong, and enjoying the yard and deck. Plenty of room. Location perfect. Thankful!

Good Family Reunion Spot

Overall this house was a great stay for our family which included teens, young kids and adults. The house was better in person than it showed in pictures. Driveway was a fine size and ample for our parking needs. The backyard is much larger than it appears in the pictures and was perfect for evening meals, congregating and playing games. The outdoor shower was a nice touch too. Our group did the walk to the beach regularly for our week stay and it was a very safe and convenient walk. The West Falmouth Market is great for breakfast, lunch and last minute items and just a few minutes away. A few drawbacks as an FYI for planning: full size beds are difficult to find sheets for and required some jigsawing of sleepers. One of the bedrooms is a cut-through bedroom - not in and of itself a problem, but the crib was in this cut-through room - which was not ideal for a sleeping 1 year old and the others who had to go through this room to their own. The kitchen was well stocked albeit with some older pots and cooking pans. The trash is small for the house - we dealt with some critters one night given the lids don't seal very well. Would have liked to see larger bins...just something to be aware of. All told I would highly recommend this house to a group or a family. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful and the close path to the bike trail was fantastic. Bryan was a very responsive host.

Great house, many pluses, a couple minuses

Clean; good AC; more spacious than expected; great outdoor shower; rec equipment in basement in excellent condition; yard bigger than it looks in photos, nice and flat for badminton set we brought; easy access to bike path; 18 min safe walk to beach, 4 min drive; amazingly good small mkt a few min drive; charcoal grills in good shape and clean. A negative: the main reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the place advertises two bikes, which we were counting on, but there was only one and it was pretty unusable because the brakes rub so strongly on both wheels. A few minor negatives: even if understandable, having to bring your own sheets and towels is a drawback, as is having to take a day's trash with you when you leave (because trash is collected Fri mornings)--both these things, esp. the second, differ from my many past rentals save 1; the kitchen was good but all the nonstick pans are way past their prime if you're concerned about eating bits of coating.

Family Summer Getaway

What started out as 8 adults and 5 children ended up as only 5 adults and a one year old. We had PLENTY of room and really enjoyed the back deck!! We did go to the beach a couple of times, but it was very hot and baby wasn't a fan, so we ended up spending a lot of time at the house and had a very relaxing vacation. We would definitely recommend the house although driveway could use some work as one side has "washed out" some and makes it a little difficult to get in and out (narrow at the bottom), but it's a very quiet neighborhood. The location is very convenient to all.

Lovely setting convenient to beach

We had enough beds for the whole family. Bringing your own linens was a hassle since most of the beds were full, queen and full. Hard to find full sheet sets. Crib was great, separate apartment was exceptional.

Western Arm of the Cape

We brought the family together to attend the King Richard's Faire in Carver, MA. We also explored Old Silver Beach, Woods Hole Aquarium, the JFK Memorial, the JFK Museum, the Massachusetts National Cemetery, and great eateries like the West Falmouth Market and Pie in the Sky bakery. All in all nice place to return to after a days adventure. p.s. really, don't forget paper towels and toilet paper along with your sheets and towels.

Cape Cod life

We had a wonderful week in Cape Cod. The only "surprise" was the dish washer. It did not clean dishes, never got hot, and smelled rank. Everything else was great, just as listed.

Nice place that was very convenient to Old Silver Beach. House accommodated six adults and four children comfortably. We had a couple of issues with some broken furniture and the driveway is a bit tough to get into and out of but all in all it was a very pleasant stay.

Perfect Getaway!

This is the second year we’ve rented this house - we have seven adults and four teenagers- there is plenty of space for all. The access to the bike trail and to Old Silver Beach makes this location ideal. The house is rustic but works perfectly for us- especially the first floor bedroom four our elderly family member. Bryan was very responsive as well!

Falmouth family vacation

Just returned from a vacation in Falmouth! The house was perfect for 12 of us-6 adults-6 children. The kitchen was well equipped. And there was plenty of space for all of us. We loved the private back yard and made good use of the outdoor shower after super beach days! The location is .7 miles from Old Silver Beach. We had a great stay!

Large house in a beautiful, quiet area

Great house for our stay with our 3 daughters, 2 sons-in-law and 4 young grandchildren ranging in age from 5 months to 8 years old. All the rooms were very spacious. We were all able to spread out. There were plenty of sleeping accommodations. Crib and high chair were added amenities that helped tremendously. The kitchen was equipped so cooking for everyone was easy enough. House was located in a quiet residential area. The large backyard was nice for the children to play and chase the rabbits. Large deck off the dining room with table, chairs, umbrella, benches and grill facilitated outdoor dinners every evening. The outdoor shower was a big hit with our granddaughters. Old Silver Beach is a large beach which we enjoyed everyday. Nice walk back and forth for our exercise.

Large home with trail to Bike Path and close to Beach!

This home is large, complete with a mother in law suite! Great location especially if you plan on biking the Shining Sea Bike Path or going to the beach. Private neighborhood yet convenient to all the necessities. Owner was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We hope to return! Great vacation.

Close to Old Silver Beach and Bikeway

Comfortable home, great backyard and quiet neighborhood. Walk to Old Silver Beach (less than a mile), or go biking on the Shining Sea Bikeway (small trail access at end of street). Bring your own linen, TP, towels, bath soaps, laundry soap etc. We enjoyed cooking our own meals, using the grill, porch and outdoor shower. The air conditioning was very helpful. We were a large group of 14 using all the beds. On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms. If you are using it at full capacity one of the queen bedrooms is the entrance and exit to one of the rooms with multiple beds. All the living spaces were comfortable. The downstairs bedroom worked very well for our elderly family members. The suite with separate outdoor access was ideal for the family members with a baby. Small note, the dishwasher probably could be screwed or glued onto the wall. Weights, and ping pong in the basement. The owner was very responsive, and we hope to come back!

We come to West Falmouth every year and this property was great! We would definitely stay again! Location is great, can walk or bike to old silver - close to the bike path and plenty of room for lots of family and friends!

Great location!

Location was awesome and plenty of room for 11 of us. Owner was very responsive. 9 am check out is pretty early but other than that it was a great week. Access to Old Silver and the bike bath was amazing!
