Kaunis tilava järvenrantakotimme (90-yksityisellä telakalla!) sijaitsee Hendersonin satamassa, NY, Eastern Lake Ontario, ja tarjoaa maailmanluokan kalastusta, veneilyä, purjehdusta, uintia tai vain rentouttavaa järvenrantaa, josta on upeat näkymät, auringonlaskut ja tähdetäytöt. Kaksi täyttä kylpyä. Täysi keittiö 1. kerroksessa ja keittokomero 2. kerroksessa. Toisen kerroksen kannella näköala järvelle. Todellinen pääsy viehättävään merikylään ja koskemattomaan järveen, mutta paljon lähistöllä sijaitsevia kohteita ja aktiviteetteja.

2300 neliömetrin kodissamme on järvenranta nurmikko, oma telakka, järvenrannalla sijaitseva terassi, ulkogrilli ja jopa palokammio nauttiaksesi lämpimistä kesäyöistä ja tähtien katselemisesta. Molemmissa kerroksissa on makuutilat, keittiöt ja kylpyammeet. Nauti tilavista kokoontumisalueista Lakeview-perhehuoneessa / ruokailutilassa ja viereisessä viihde- / TV-huoneessa, jossa on baarikeittiö. Kalustemme kaikki liinavaatteet, pyyhkeet, keittiötarvikkeet, keittiövälineet ja tarjoamme täysikokoisen pesukone / kuivausrumpu, kaapeli-TV ja nopea langaton internetyhteys - kaikki sisältyy vuokraan.
Majoitamme jopa 8 henkilöä, enint. 6 henkilöstä yli 15 vuotta.

Hendersonin satama, Golden Crescent, on yksi Pohjois-Amerikan parhaista makean veden kalastuksista. Siinä on Smallmouth-basso, Walleye, taimen, järvi, hauki, pickerel, ahven, Steelhead ja lohi (kuningas, Coho ja Chinook.) Sekä amatöörit että kokenut kalastajat arvostavat ammattilaivaajia. Osallistu Spring Classic -kalastus Derbyyn toukokuussa, vuotuinen PIENEN SUU-BASSI & WALLEYE DERBY-KESÄKUU.

-Kolme venesatamaa, julkinen veneiden lasku ja Yacht-klubi ovat kaikki 5 mailin päässä. Purjehdi olympiapurjehduskokeilun entisen kodin vesillä. Kanootti ja kajakki pitkin mailia rantaviivaa. Lapset nauttivat kalastuksesta laiturilta, lähellä sijaitsevien Westcottin ja Southwick Beachin osavaltion puistojen suojatuilta hiekkarannoilta, "Vanha McDonald's Farm" -eläintarhassa ja New Yorkin osavaltion eläintarhassa Thompson Parkissa, Watertown. Seikkailunhakijoille kokeilla koskenlaskua Black Riverillä lähellä olevaa Watertownia, joka tarjoaa luokan Neljännen kosken korkeuteen asti.

- Nauti paikallisista satamaravintooista tai hienosta ruokailusta, museoista ja taistelukentän säädöksistä lähellä olevassa Historic Sackets Harborissa. Tutustu paikallisiin viinitarhoihin ja käsityöpanimoon. Vieraile maailmankuulussa antiikkiveneiden museossa ja Decoy & Wildlife Art Show -näyttelyssä lähellä olevassa Claytonissa tai kiertää Boltin linnaa tuhansilla saarilla.


Mökin 1. kerroksessa on järvinäköala-oleskelu- ja ruokailutila sekä viihde- / olohuone, jossa on baarikeittiö. Nauti veden katselemisesta suuresta makuuhuoneesta, katedraalin katolla, mahtavasta Afrikan mahonki-antiikkisängystä, kirjoituspöydästä, keinutuolista ja isoista kaapista. Ensimmäisen kerroksen toisessa makuuhuoneessa on vuodesohva, joka avautuu kahdelle erillistä vuodetta nukkumiseen, ylenmääräinen mukava tuoli lukemiseen, kääntöpöytä ja omat suuret kaapit. Suuressa kylpyhuoneessa on suihku / amme ja istuva turhamaisuus.

Keittiö on täysin varustettu, ja viereisessä pesula-alueella on kätevä täysikokoinen pesukone ja kuivausrumpu.

Kattotuulettimet saavat järventuulta ja mökissä on myös vaihto- ja sähkölämpö.

2. kerroksessa on kaksi makuutilaa, minikeittiö ruokailutiskillä, täysi kylpyamme ja olohuone, josta avautuu upea rantaparveke / puinen kansi - suosikkipaikkamme aamiaiselle, yksityiselle aurinkoa ajamiselle ja auringonlaskujen katselulle. 2. kerroksessa on myös kattotuuletin, vaihtovirta ja sähkölämmitys.

What a GREAT Place!

Fantastic location, beautiful home, right on the water, great sunsets, clean house, friendly hosts. Everything we needed was there in the house. Has to be seen in person to appreciate. The adults loved it, and the kids loved it. This has to be one of the best places available in Henderson Harbor. Check in was simple. Everything we needed was easy to find. I don't remember having to bother the hosts with anything once we checked in. Our family all enjoyed the accommodations. We had 6 people there most nights, but it didn't feel crowded. The kitchen was small, but perfectly functional for fixing meals. The boys enjoyed fishing from the dock, but never caught anything. The yard was big enough so that we set up a badminton court. There are lots of things to do in the small village and the surrounding area. Overall, I doubt that we will ever find a better place for a relaxing vacation with our family.

Great spot for relaxing, boating or fishing.

This property had it all. A great location, a working dock/pier and protected area for the boat, awesome fishing from dock, quiet neighborhood, nice fire pit area, an interesting house with all the things you need for a great vacation. Any issues were addressed by owners right away. Free state boat launch is only a couple miles away. Only draw back is limited parking available (only 2 vehicles) we were able to leave boat trailer at local marina for $10 for the whole week. Bottom line is I would (I mean will) return for another stay next year, We all liked it so much.

My group of gentlemen anglers decided to rent this location first our annual fishing trip. Nice accommodations, amenities, location, private safe harbor for our boats, and one of the best locations to watch those famous Lake Ontario sunsets. Would certainly stay there again.

Combination vacation and family wedding in the area.

Family was in and out for 10 days around a family wedding. We did use the dock for fishing and swimming. We did not use the canoe. We would have preferred kayaks. We would have liked a way to get dogs access to water. We greatly enjoyed the view from the sunroom and the backyard was really nice. We did not really have need for the upstairs kitchen. We would have used the upstairs deck more if there was an outside light. We missed baking sheets and large serving bowls. Any drawbacks were minor. It was beautiful. It was great to have fresh water, cable, WI-fi and internet! ( These are things we did not have at a previously rental nearby.) Overall it was a great vacation and a lovely spot. We would definitely recommend it!

Peaceful and Quiet

The property was beautiful, but we were limited to only a part of it. The previous renters let their dog pee on the carpet, and when we arrived it was very evident. This was a turn-off, which is sad because the house was cute and had charm. But, seeing that as soon as we arrived didn't make me happy, I'm a bit OCD in the clean department. We also had to wash the bed linens before we left which seemed somewhat weird, especially with COVID, I would think the owners and their cleaning team would want to do a really great job to prevent any issues and make sure all the linens were washed before the next renters would come in. What about comforters and blankets??. Again, I hate to say bad things, but these were a couple of things that were a turn-off. But the neighborhood was quiet, and the views were awesome. The lake was low, so fishing wasn't good at the time we were there either.

Beautiful property

Our stay was great! This property is beautiful and right on the lake. Couldn’t be closer. The house was a bit older, but very quaint. The upstairs studio was great, with great views from the balcony. The host, Janine, was very helpful and quick to answer any questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Bathrooms, especially upstairs, needs major update. Bath didn’t drain well and left gritty stuff after every shower. Couldn’t use as a tub for bath. Kitchen was just ok. Rethink your laundry of bed clothes at checkout requirements. We won’t be back.

Fun & Relaxation Guaranteed

This cottage is located in a very private area directly backing up to the lake. We spent every night watching the sunset and every day kayaking, fishing and hiking. Plenty of space for 7 of us. The florida room was a nice place to sit and play games and view the serene lake. Great place for a getaway!

Memorial Weekend Getaway

Everything we could have asked for and more. The perfect lake house for our Memorial weekend getaway. The owner, Janine and her housekeeper Chris were so easy to deal with and could not have been more welcoming. The second kitchen upstairs along with the balcony deck made laying out, listening to music and catching up with old friends a breeze. It’s a great house for families and friends looking for a place on the water with a large yard, fire pit, and one of the nicest docks in the harbor. We are already planning a return trip next year!

Week in the Harbor

Very nice time, away from the Texas heat. I am originally from the area and try to get home every year to visit family and relax. This property afforded us the room we needed as well as the quiet to enjoy family. My 9 year old hooked into the fish of his young life on the first day right off of the dock. The location was great and made it easy for some of my old friends to stop by and say hello.

Week of Fishing

What can I say! Great location, with walking distance into Henderson. Wonderful boat dock, we did not need to worry about our babies(boats). Beautiful homes surrounded the property. Great fishing just wish we were in town a week earlier when the Walleye were in. Ryan's Lookout was just around the corner, GREAT FOOD!! General store in town was convenient as was the store across from Wescott Beach, it also has a liquor store. The cottage was quaint and perfect for our family, we also invited my brother-in-law and his fiancé. The cottage is perfect for 2 families as the upstair has a bath and small kitchen. Perfect set up. Can't wait until we return next year!!!!

Unforgettable vacation!

We arrived for a two-week stay with family and had a tremendous experience. The pictures just don't do this cottage (and the view!) justice. It is absolutely beautiful. The cottage was clean, spacious, and contained pretty much all amenities any guest would need. The best part of the cottage is the large front lawn with sitting area and chairs. We spent many nights watching the sunsets and marveling at the stars. Located just a short drive from Sackett's Harbor and the Thousand Islands area, there is plenty to do - but also plenty of peace and quiet if that's what you're looking for. The owners were very helpful and responsive to any questions and/or minor issues that arose. We have already booked this cottage again for next summer and hope to make it an annual tradition.

Beautiful and inspiring sunsets on the Lake

We stayed for two weeks at this spacious and well kept cottage. (home) Everything you ever needed was here. All you had to do was bring yourself and those you love. We had guests fly in from Ok and they were very impressed not just with the cottage but with the surrounding area. Our hosts supplies great information for surrounding areas of interest and the internet works great which the young people really appreciated. The listing on this property is certainly accurate, but can't convey the beauty and peacefulness of the sunsets and sunrise. Can't wait to return again.

New England Lakeside Charm

This is what you think of when someone mentions words like "New England", "Lakeside Cottage", "Charming". The house fronts right on the Harbor -by that, I mean that from the glassed-in front room, upstairs kitchen, and second floor terrace you see the lake front and center. It is bright and sunny, but also has a cozy feel, particularly in the family room which features a large sofa, a rocking chair, and a cast iron wood-burning fireplace (we only stayed during the summer, so never got to fire it up). I also love with the wet bar just off of the living room...it was custom-made using a marine sink off of an old boat -very cool. The interior of the cottage is very clean, in great shape and tastefully decorated. As a boater and fisherman, I love the water access and great fishing (even from the dock), and have to admit that you could not pick a more perfect place to watch the sunset. Looking forward to next year's visit. I would say more, but I don't want to have too much competition when I make my reservations to stay there again next summer. Tight lines!

Great lake view, dock and deck!

I've stayed at this cottage on Henderson harbor for the last several years and we love coming back! There's nothing like waking up and walking right out onto the dock for an early morning swim. The place has a great lawn that leads right out to the dock so there is plenty of room for activities both on land and in the water. The 2nd level deck provides great views of the water and there's plenty of room to lay out or have a cocktail with your group. The hosts were helpful, super nice and very knowledgeable about the area. They provided a clean house with linens and are willing to help with anything you need. If you're looking for a nice relaxing getaway right on the water then this is it. Oh and the description doesn't lie...the sunsets are perfect from this place - right across the lake.

Wonderful & Relaxing Vacation at the most Charming Cottage

We had a wonderful and relaxing 8 day stay at this charming cottage; which is larger than the pictures show. My brother and sister in law flew up from Florida to stay with us.We would wake each morning and have coffee in the sun room, overlooking the bay. We brought our 20 foot open bow boat to fish and also explored the bay. We launched the boat at the public docks just a few miles from the cottage and moored to the great dock included with the cottage. The ferry to Kingston Canada, Sackett"s Harbor, Clayton and Bolt Castle tour in Alexandria Bay are not far away and are great places to visit. In the evenings we would either cook or barbeque. Everything you would possibly need to prepare your meals is there. No need to bring linens, towels or any bedding. We also dined 2 nights in a row to Ryans...the best food ever! The internet and cable work well, so we where able to take care of emails. There is plenty of room in and outside of the cottage for quiet and alone time to read or nap if the mood strikes. The property is well kept and the cottage is a beautiful place owned by a wonderful and pleasant family. THE SUNSETS ARE INCREDIBLE! We would love to return in the fall and do highly recommend it.

The spacious 2300 sq ft home has an efficiency apt on the 2nd floor with its own private wood deck overlooking the lake. Plenty of opportunity for family water fun on the lake, at the same time that baby naps upstairs, or grandma reads in a quiet back study room, and dad charters a fishing boat!
