Charleston beach vacation

This was a great place to stay. We loved it. Great view and easy access to the beach. Not too far from Charleston. Far enough away from the main drag, but not too far. We had a great time.

Superb home for comfort, location and views!

We had a Thanksgiving gathering with 3 generations of family. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom! There were comfortable gathering areas on all levels and perfect tv viewing for all the football games. Gorgeous views on all levels and perfect central location for restaurants and shops!

GREAT Beach House!

We loved the house and location! The house was enjoyed by all - ages 4 to 80. There are some great communal spaces to enjoy eating and socializing together. The house has 3 great decks and beach is only a few steps away. Beach in this area is amazing, especially with replenishment work that was done earlier this year. It's also short walk to the pier or Burt's grocery store. Highly recommend!

The house is a little shabby but roomy and comfortable. The kitchen could use some organizing, but the double fridges and dishwashers are a plus. Great porches!

6 1/2 Days of Beach Construction

The beach construction was supposed to be complete at our location and we didn't find out until we arrived. The landscaping is unkept and the grass is dead or gone. The pots, pans and baking hardware are a jumbled filthy mess. I had to scrub every pan before I could use it. Fire alarms are hanging from the 3rd floor ceiling and inoperable. The kitchen microwave is inoperable that we were told about after arrival and the back-up 700 watt is marginable. A decent back-up was necessary. The sliding glass doors are difficult to open and close. The mold at the kitchen is disgusting and unsanitary. The property needs a thorough inspection and corrective action. Definitely not woth the rental fee.

Beautiful beachfront home

We were a group of 9 cousins, and the house is very large so we could all be together for meals, playing games, etc All 5 bedrooms had ensuite baths, which was great. The location could not be more perfect, just steps from the beautiful beach. So peaceful to have morning coffee or evening happy hour on the decks. You are a few minutes walk to all of the restaurants in Folly, and a 20-25 minute drive all that Charleston has to offer... what a great town! Our host Kate was wonderful....she also responded very quickly to my questions, and provided a very long list of restaurants, sightseeing options,etc Thank you Kate for a wonderful stay in your lovely home!

Perfect house and location

We had an amazing Spring Break in this beautiful and well appointed house! The location is absolutely perfect! Walk right out to the beach and easy walk to restaurants and shops! Gorgeous ocean views from many rooms! Communication with the owner was absolutely perfect! She was so accommodating and the hospitality was much appreciated! We will definitely be returning!

Fabulous oceanfront home!

Kate’s spacious home is well kept, well stocked & clean & she takes great care in making her guests comfortable. High quality linens & furnishings make this home extra special. The views are amazing from inside or out. Spacious decks provide beach enjoyment without leaving the house. Sunrises & sunsets are incredible to watch from the rooftop deck! The elevator makes luggage & grocery transport a breeze. With all bedrooms having their own bath & the extra den with ocean view helped to make our girls trip even more wonderful. Folly’s restaurants & downtown area is a short few blocks away. It’s a fabulous home!

Our family has been having some difficult times and we headed to Folly to relax and refresh. We were so happy with our stay with room to spare and the ocean right outside us. We just loved this house and we hope to return!
