You´ll love our condominium, Quintas del Mar. Great atmosphere, it is very quiet and close to everything!

The common areas are great, 4 swimming pools, large grass areas, palapas with tables and chairs, the beach, and the amazing view of Isla Mujeres and the Hotel Zone.

The people at Quintas del Mar are great too, very easygoing atmosphere. Some live there, others come on vacation. All vacationers come back, always! Quintas del Mar is famous for it. Some, a few times a year, others for many years in a row.

Some of us at Quintas del Mar like to get together for barbecues and hanging out at the pool. But if you like to be by yourself, we respect that, as long as you know you are welcome to join us!

Another great thing about Quintas del Mar is you can get up in the morning and step out to go for a jog or a walk while enjoying the view.

It is very close to everything.
It is withing walking distance to a 24 hr convenience store, a small local grocery store and to the ferry that takes you to Isla Mujeres. (very beautiful Island).
A couple of large supermarkets are only 10 min away.

Transportation is good and safe. Local city bus around $0.50 USD and taxi to center around $5 USD.
If you go to the Hotel Zone you are better off taking the bus, taxi will cost around $15 USD

The city center and the start of the hotel zone are only 10 minutes away by transport.
The central bus station is 10 min away. They have first class transport at really affordable prices. There, you can take buses to Playa del Carmen (1:15min), Tulum (1:45min) and many other places.
The airport is 35-45 min away.

And very close by, you can enjoy luxury shopping, low key, or local markets, cinema, restaurants, snorkeling, windsurf, kayak, many other everything, because like I said before....Everything is close by, Cancun is quite small.

I would say it is perfect for those who want to enjoy the tranquility but still be close to the party scene and more crowded areas in case you want to experience it.

***And don´t forget about the $$$, by staying here you´ll save hundreds of dollars that you can use to do more activities!!

We had everything to have a comfortable stay. Pools and the sea are at the door. Just so wonderful! Very friendly and lovely host, always around to help with questions. Local authentic restaurants, downtown, maya ruins (El Meco) in few minutes distance.

Beautiful Condo and setting

We truly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful pool just steps outside of our door. The gulf views were also amazing! The condo was quiet and just what we needed to relax.

The host is great. The apartment is as explained. The neighborhood is not close to the resort area. Way more authentic, which we love. Short walk to the beach from the residence.

Lovely and restful

Wonderful property. Got up every morning to watch the beautiful sunrise over the ocean. Comfortable bed. Compact but efficient kitchen. Owner just a few doors down, so easy to communicate with.

Nice spot right on the ocean

It was our first time to Mexico and we were pretty adventurous with this plan. We were very limited on the language and this was a challenge. The property is about 1/4 mile from the ferry to Isla Mueres and 1/2 mile the other direction to a nice restaurant. We got amazing sunrise photos from the patio every morning.

Great place to enjoy the ocean!

Condo is located right on the ocean! Walk out the sliding glass door and there’s a pool or the ocean for a swim! Open all the windows and sliding door and enjoy a gentle breeze all day. <3

Great hosts and alternative location.

We had excellent hosts. The location is great if you don’t want to stay in the hotel zone and would like to go to other spots like Isla Mujeres which is close by. Ado bus station is close on the city bus line. There is a great pubic beach next door.

Beautiful Views

We were seconds to our pool from our door wall overlooking the ocean with beautiful sunrises every morning. Located in a quiet strip down from the hotel zona - secured well. Landowners live on site. Very clean. Walk to outside Mass overlooking the water. Two restaurants within walking distance. We were there for dental procedures - it was perfect to relax and heal. Very quiet and enjoyed our stay very much.!

So Close to the Gulf

We were here for 13 days and have never had more help from a host and manager. The host picked me up at the airport upon arrival and told me all about the property. I was amazed at how close the condo was to the ocean. The pools were right in front of the condo and we could throw a stone to the ocean. Water sports are abundantly available. Would definitely visit Lirio and Natalia and their families again.

Peaceful and beautiful

We had a wonderful week. The condo was as described with beautiful views! JP did a great job communicating before we got there and Lirio was exceptional in her care of us! She had great tips on where to go and what to do. It was nice to be close to the city but in a quieter neighborhood.

Oceanfront bliss

Walk out your patio door to breathtaking views and sunrises that will leave you truly grateful that you chose this wonderful place! Ocean access and the very pretty Playa del Nino right next door make this place very special. Hostess Lirio is very kind and accommodating. I felt very welcomed and included in the condo community. As a solo traveler travelling over the Christmas holidays I was even very graciously invited to her families Christmas celebration! Only minutes walk from shops and restaurants and very accessible to Cancun Centre I had a wonderful time at this place.

Love this place and our host

I loved my stay and will return with my family. Lirio and her family were so gracious. She and her daughter even took me to Isla Mujeres with them. About the only negatives I can say is that the outdoor furniture needs repair or upgrading and some of the afternoons were a bit noisy as they’re updating the exterior and one of the pools. It was so peaceful watching the sunrise and the birds every morning. It’s far enough away from the hotel zones to be quiet yet only a short walk to the ferry . Cabs were close by and reasonably priced. Thank you so much

Delightful and affordable

We stayed for a week in March and absolutely loved being at this property. Being on the ground floor, we could walk right out to the pools and relax or swim near the gorgeous azure sea. We did two tours (Chichzen Itza and Tulum/Xel-Ha) via a hotel that was less than a ten minute walk away. Our (on property) host, Lirio, was exceedingly helpful in setting up the tours and suggesting activities and places to eat, including the wonderful nearby Marbella and driving us downtown to an great little place called Los de Pescado (inexpensive and delicious). Getting around was pretty straightforward. Buses are a bit confusing as you need to be somewhat familiar with surrounding landmarks, but grabbing buses to Pto Juarez seemed to get us home just fine. Taxis were also nearby. Having a kitchen was very useful. Waking up and eating fresh papaya and pineapple, yogurt, etc. Staying in and making chicken tacos after getting home late from our Chichzen Itza tour. In fact, everything about the property was quaint and cozy and wonderful! Our flight was cancelled on our return home and we all got bussed to Riu Cancun, an all-inclusive hotel, and I am SO glad that we didn't end up going that direction when we booked our accommodations. Ultimately, I loved staying here and look forward to returning again as soon as we are able.

Relaxing condo in the sun

My son and I spent a week at this condo. We enjoyed the beautiful view and the breeze from the Gulf of Mexico. We found the condo to be secure, clean and comfortable. Throughout our trip, we took bus trips to the hotel zone, downtown Cozumel and Punta Sam. There was a convenience store and restaurants within walking distance. This is a nice place to stay if you want to be away from the crowds yet close enough to travel to the hotel zone.

Quiet and relaxing vacation

I loved this place. They picked us up at the airport and took us to their sons place for mexican hot dogs and hamburgers. They were yummy. We loved the place and basically had the pool to ourselves during our stay. They were even nice enough to help us book a cenotes visit, we jip lined and did atvs too. They have a bbq if you want to cook and we found out even had a kayak. The public beach is right next door but there is no beach behind it is rocky but it is beautiful. It was only about 50 cents to take the bus downtown and takes about 30 minutes. We would definitely stay again!!!! It was also only a 9.00 taxi ride to walmart to get stocked up with supplies or there is a gas station walking distance to get snacks and drinks. Great vacation, quiet and relaxing.

Relaxing

This place was perfect for what I was looking for. I just wanted a place where I could get a tan, read some books and rest. Lirio and Jean Pierre are wonderful and very accommodating. I recommend this place for anyone who just wants a nice place to rest and relax. The gentle breeze from the ocean is a great way to fall asleep at night and to wake up to in the morning!

PERFECT!!

Our stay couldn't have been better! To start, our flight in arrived a little late and we did not arrive to the apartment until almost 9pm but even at that time Lirio met us as we arrived with a beautiful personality. She explained everything we could possibly need to know with such patience. She was definitely a great host. The property itself is absolutely beautiful!! Next door to Playa del nino as soon as you walk out your back door you have a beautiful view of the ocean. The property is gated with a security system so we always felt safe. It's only about a 15-20 min drive to the hotel zone depending on your driving. The apartment was so comfortable with everything you need in it. Our next time back we will definitely be booking here again. Thank you so much for having us!

Beautiful view! Relaxing, quiet, friendly place to unwind.

My husband and I stayed 3 weeks at Quintas del Mar in January 2018. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Many of the people we met come here year after year because it is "away from it all", yet easy to get to restaurants and shopping when you desire. Our unit was on the ground floor, and we loved having direct access to the grounds, pool, and palapa from our patio. There is also access to the water through a gate in the sea wall, or at the public beach next door. If you like to walk, the sidewalks are good, and quite a few restaurants within a mile in both directions. The ferries to Isla Mujeres are also within walking distance. Our unit was comfortable and well situated, and the owners live in the complex and were very accommodating to our needs. We would recommend this property for those who want a quiet getaway and a beautiful ocean view!

Nice apartment, very friendly and helpful people

We had a wonderful week in Cancun. Lirio, Jean-Pierre and our neighbors had useful hints for our stay. Our personal highlight was the invitation to join them for the christmas party. We had lots of fun and really delicious food. Thank you to for making the vacation really special. The apartment is in good shape and clean. The location is quiet and about 4km from the city center away. By using the Collectivos, which pass around every 10 Min right in front of the complex, u will be in the city center and ADO stations in around 15 Mins. The ferry to Isla Mujeres is just a small walk of 15 Mins away.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a Wonderful stay at Quintas del Mar. Our hosts Lirio and JP made us very welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. The locals are very friendly and welcoming. The condominum is comfortable, quiet and well appointed. The bed was firm but comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals including preparation and storage items. The only downside was there wasn't an oven but there was a microwave and toaster oven and grills outdoors. There was also bottled 5 gallon water. The bathroom had plenty of space and storage. The shower was roomy with good water pressure but had a slow drain but didn't flood. Also the water temperature would cool off but there was plenty of time for one person at a time. The air conditioners worked fabulously and all the areas had fans. Also there was a lot of closet, shelf and cabinet space! The patio off of the condo was perfect for relaxing. It was in direct sun until late afternoon but there are shared pergolas within a few feet. The pools were nice and clean and not overly chlorinated. They were a little cool while we were there but it was also cooler than normal at night during our stay. The location of the condo is not in a typical tourist area. It was a 20 to 30 minute drive to the hotel zone beaches and about a 20 minute drive to the hotel zone entertainment area. The local beach shack type restaurants were great! There was also a Suprema Wal-Mart (small grocery store) a few minutes away which accepts credit and debit cards. We brought our two small dachshunds with us and they had a blast as well! The Cancun dog beach was about 30 minutes from the condo. The beach next door doesn't allow dogs but is a pretty nice beach! It was a fabulous beach for being steps away We would love to come back!
