Amazing Property

The boathouse was a great place to spend the weekend for a golf trip. Nice and close to nearby courses along with plenty of restaurants in the area. The house is beautiful and is exactly as described. Lisa was so nice and helpful and was super flexible in allowing us to check in early. Sadly didn’t have time to utilize all the outdoor amenities, but would love to come back!

Handicap Accessible

It is very hard for us as a family to take trips due to my daughter who has challenges in mobility but is an amazing being. The Boathouse afforded us an opportunity that we have not done in 6 years as a family, everyone being together. Very relaxing and the family is accommodating. The Boathouse is a special get-away for this who want to escape the hustle and bustle of life. Thank you very much

Great Lake house

The location was great right on Green Lake. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We had a group of 10 and all fit comfortably. The owners house was right next door and were very friendly and helpful. We hope to make this our new tradition.

Grandson's Initiation to Fishing and Boating

Super comfortable property with lots of room outside and dock very convenient. Grandson caught lots of fish off the dock. The boat house was just right, not so fancy that you had to worry about anything but good sized rooms and easy to keep up. The view was ideal.

Perfect, cozy lake house!

This house was perfect for it trip. House is right on the lake with a large dock. Perfect house for small groups to hangout and boat, fish, or just hang out. Owners were friendly and easy to communicate with. Looking forward to going again!

Awesome time fishing. We had 4 of us. Enjoyed every minute of it even though dealt with cold weather and rain. Perfect for groups or families. Great spot on the lake. Great communication. Will come stay again.

The property was as advertised, clean and right on the water. There was green space for kids, easy to access. Our family really enjoyed our stay. The DVD/VCR player needs to be updated (took multiple times to get a decent picture), and maybe a few more board games. But we also were at GL off-season. Summer weather, we would have our nights occupied. Would love to come back in the summer!

A lovely spot, even during a rainy week

The Boathouse is a special place on Green Lake. You can't get closer to the water than a place that literally hangs over it! The lake is huge, and beautiful. The property is true to the photos and was immaculately clean. Great kitchen and plenty of space on two levels for the four of us to spread out. It rained every day that we were there, but we had a wonderful time kayaking and exploring the area. Lisa, the owner, respected our privacy but was easy to reach and quick to respond to questions. We hope to return to Green Lake again.

Restful Getaway

House is perfect for a family getaway. It is spacious and allowed for plenty of personal time when needed. The lake is a little weedy but that is just the lake. Float out a bit and all is good. Overall would highly recommend.

This property is owned by two families who love Green Lake. It is a true gem and without question among the best rental properties on Green Lake in terms of location, amenities and all the comforts of home. This is available year-round so take advantage of every wonderful season in Wisconsin.

Why they chose this property

Green Lake is the deepest inland lake in Wisconsin. It spans 7 miles and maintains the same clean waters as 100 years ago. We all have so enjoyed the sandy shallows of Norwegian Bay, the oak and maple trees lining Green Lake's shores, and fun nights around the fire pit. While we feel like we are away from it all, we're just a quick walk to the ice cream parlor, Sassafrass coffee shop, quaint downtown Green Lake, Thrasher Opera House, Crossroads Supermarket and Tuscumbia/Lawsonia and Mascoutin Golf Courses. The area boasts amazing bike routes around the lake; unbelievable fishing and ice fishing; the ability to rent boats, jet skis and paddle boards; great swimming and just general all-around fun! There's no better place in the world during the summer and fall! When winter rolls in, the Boathouse serves as a haven for ice fishing. Lots of fish caught right in front.

Fully remodeled!! This house is right on the lake! The deck balcony literally hangs over the water as the house was once a functioning boathouse. Guests enjoy their own boat lift, stone patio, picnic areas, outdoor seating, fire pit, balcony, central air, gas fireplace, all new stainless appliances, newly remodeled bathrooms, Weber gas grill. From inside, guests enjoy incredible lake sunsets and views, as well as all the comforts of home. The house also features two large living areas, sleeps 11 comfortably and is perfect for family gatherings.
