This property is located with an adjoining 60 acres of land that you will have total access to during your stay. The back part of the 60 acres overlooks Lake Cumberland which is one of the largest lakes in the country. Within the gated area you may ride ATV's and bicycles or just take a nice walk. We frequently see deer and wild turkey on the property. The property is also located along the Sandhill Crane migration path. You may see them fly overhead or landing in the lake. There is a dairy farm across the street and we like to watch the dairy cows come in and out of the field during the day. Year-round you will see baby cows in the fields around the cabin.
We have added a very nice pontoon to our amenities and this boat is available for our guests to rent. Our property manager will launch and load the pontoon and can be hired to drive the boat for you if you just want a scenic cruise!

Great place and would recommend! It was odd that we had to meet someone to check in and sign more papers, but it was clean, big, great property and fit our crew perfectly!
We come to the lake every year with our kids and friends. This year we decided to just hang out with our friends. This cabin was perfect we had such a great time. There was plenty of space and we enjoyed the peaceful setting and the outdoor fire pit. We will definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful weekend at the Wolf Creek Cabin. Everyone was clean, in great working order, and convenient. Easy to get in touch with owners and property manager. We cant wait to go back. Highly recommend!
My husband and our friends had such a lovely time at this gorgeous cabin. So much so that one of our friends' mothers was interested in booking a stay in the future! Thanks again for a streamlined process. Would love to book again sometime.

Cumberland Cabin
This cabin was beautiful and in a great location. The listing was a bit deceiving and there were a lot of rules and stipulations. Overall, a great experience but some of the expectations were a bit annoying while on vacation.
We took our family of five and a couple of my sons friends came to stay as well. The cabin has plenty of room for everyone. I enjoyed walking the beautiful property in the mornings and having the master suite jacuzzi all to myself at the end of the day. My boys enjoyed riding the ATV 4 wheelers they have on property. We had fun on the pontoon tubing! The property manager Tim is very helpful, he made sure we had extra gas for the ATV's. Such a relaxing place to stay out in the peaceful countryside. Highly recommend. Hope to visit again next summer as well!
We had a wonderful time and great boating weather. The house was perfect for us. We had 8 adults and 1 8 yr old. Plenty of space. The landscaping outside was very well kept and the inside is beautifully decorated. We appreciate the owners letting us use their boat slip at the marina. It was so nice not having to launch and load the boat each day with as much boat traffic at the boat ramp. Thank you so so much. I hope to book our next year stay at your home again. I hope you still have the boat slip. LOL 😂❤️. The parking was excellent for 4 full size pick up trucks and a boat trailer, incase anyone wants to know. It's a beautiful place.
Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The mattresses were not comfortable. We searched for a long time for the steps down to the lake, but never found them. The property manager was very nice, but it was somewhat inconvenient, that we had to know the exact time we would be arriving so he could meet us prior to entering the home. Also checkout was 9AM and at 8:30 the property manager showed up at the home as we were packing up our cars. It felt like we were being watched and not trusted.
The cabin was located in a private, beautiful peaceful property. We had plenty of space for our family. The basement was perfect for teens! They really enjoyed the ping pong table and stayed up past midnight playing. They watched Dish network on the projector screen and hung out, played some chess as well. Our sons had fun riding the ATV on the trail to the back of the land. My youngest rode daily! There are plenty of deer on the property, the boys saw a doe one morning, my husband believed to be fawning out in the open area. We went out on the pontoon and went tubing and even fished a bit. We took a cooler and had a picnic on the pontoon! Back at the cabin, I enjoyed the sunrise daily from the front porch swing and painted in the early morning light. We grilled out a couple of nights and also sat around the fire pit one evening singing. The cabin was very clean and can accommodate multiple families. We would love to book another stay in the future!
Our family which ranged in age from 7 years old to 90 years old had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with the essentials for our stay. In addition, the cabin was spacious with great sleeping accommodations for our family. Tim, the property manager, was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the property and some of us using the ATVs. I bet we saw at least 12 deer! Also enjoyed a fire in the fire pit each night of our stay. The "icing on the cake" was being able to rent the pontoon. We had a blast cruising the lake and swimming for hours. I could definitely see us returning in the future!
This was our second family vacation to the cabin on Lake Cumberland and we love it every time. Great spot to relax, the day out boating is always great and the room for the kids to roam on the trails is always a blast. ♥️
We enjoyed the cabin and the space around it. It was nice to check out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Thoroughly enjoyed striper fishing on Lake Cumberland.
Enjoying all the comforts of home in the beautiful cabin while spending time in nature and away from city life. Playing on the ATV’s in the private acreage and bonfires. Truly relaxing and thrilling
This beautiful home is in an awesome location, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but close enough to all its necessities. We had a great experience there. We were greeted by Tim, who helped us make it in safely and showed us around the ins-and-outs of the home. Our boys were lucky enough to venture out on the TAGs in the 60 acres of land behind the property, which they loved! Overall this was a very peaceful environment for us to get back to the fundamentals of family. We would like to thank you guys for allowing us to use your beautiful home to make lasting memories:)
Our family of 10 loved this cabin. Very clean and lots of good amenities. Excellent selection of kitchen pots/pans/utensils. Owner and property manager were very easy to deal with.
I have stayed at several VRBO cabins/houses/condos and this was one of the best. The location is secluded and there is a lot of property to explore.
The only recommendation I have is to get better pictures of this great cabin and property. We were very surprised when we arrived, because the pics do not do this place justice. The theater room is awesome. I would call this a 5 bedroom with the set up, not 3 bedrooms. We will definitely return.

About the host
Hosted by Jeff and Glenna Sanders
My name is Jeff. My wife Glenna and I are the new owners of this property. We have always loved the water and wanted a place near Lake Cumberland. This is a great place to make new memories with family and friends. And we hope our guests can do the same.
Why they chose this property
This is a very unique property with very unique circumstances. The logs used to build the home are native to the site. This is truly a custom home. It is located on a quiet road and we have spent weekends there and only seen a few cars pass the house. The only buildings you see from the cabin are the dairy barn and silo more than half a mile away. This property makes a great place to visit if you want some peace and quiet and really get a connection to nature or it can be a place to be very active. If you are a sportsman and like to fish, this property makes a perfect place to stay. You can go to the marinas and spend a day on the lake fishing with your own boat or charter a guide service. Several striper guides use Alligator II marina as their home marina. We have a pontoon rental for our guests that can be used for fishing or to pull a tube or skier. If you don't have a lot of experience driving a boat our property manager will be happy to drive the boat for you and let you relax.
What makes this property unique
If you would like to escape your hectic work week schedule, this log home property will provide instant relaxation. Instead of traffic, noise and light pollution you will look into clear star filled skies with the sounds of birds, frogs, peaceful content dairy cows and rustle of leaves blowing in the wind. You can enjoy long peaceful walks or just sit on the comfy porch swing letting yours cares slip away. This is the perfect property for everyone. There is plenty to do for both adults and children or it is perfect for a quiet romantic getaway.
