¡Tus vacaciones familiares comienzan aquí! Little Silver Hart Cottage es una casa de dos habitaciones y un baño que puede alojar a 6 personas con una cama plegable en el sofá ubicado en la sala de estar de la planta baja. Puede despertarse al amanecer de la mañana con vista al lago con una taza de café en el porche cubierto, o pasar días en la playa de arena y disfrutar del lago en kayak, pescar o usar el bote de remos para cuatro personas. Estamos en Hart Lake (también conocido como Little Silver Lake). Tiene profundidad gradual por lo que es ideal para los niños. Disfrute de los fuegos de la noche (madera incluida) haciendo que los recuerdos de la familia "S'more" alrededor del fogón apedreado. Manistee National Forest está justo al final de la carretera para practicar senderismo, motos de nieve o vehículos todo terreno. La cabaña tiene una ubicación central para aquellos que deseen visitar la Aventura de Michigan en Cedar Point, el complejo de deportes de invierno Muskegon para disfrutar del famoso LUGE, o patinaje sobre hielo, raquetas de nieve y esquí de fondo a través de senderos. Michigan Getaway

We really enjoyed everything about our stay. The home was so clean and had everything that we needed. There was only me and a friend, but this home has so many different areas that it would be great for many visitors. I loved the decor, and Cindy was so helpful when I asked questions while setting the reservation. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again. 10/10!!!

Great Stay

This was a great house for a lake getaway. The house is well appointed. The host was very responsive in communication and we had no issues with our stay. The sunporch and deck are great places to hang out and the sandy beach was great for my preschooler to play. It was nice to have the paddle boat to go out onto the lake. The house was very clean and had small touches that were great like beach towels, a snack basket, and lots of sand toys. There were great instructions on how to use everything in the house and it was wonderful to have the kitchen cabinets labeled. The upstairs is on the smaller side so the rooms are very close together. This worked great with our family and we could go downstairs when the kids were asleep so we didn’t wake them. The location is nice to get to several areas of Lake Michigan to explore. Overall, a great house and a great stay.

Wonderful getaway

Our family had such a wonderful time! It is so cozy with easy access to the lake where our kids spent every sunny moment playing in the water and sand. They have such a cute selection of toys and games for the kiddos. Amazing views of the lake from the deck and upper screened in porch. It was exactly what we were looking for :)

Lovely, peaceful getaway.

Really gave us what we wanted, a beautiful setting right on a pretty lake, not as far a drive as up north from Detroit so we could make it a shorter trip but still have a wonderful time swimming and relaxing. Enjoyed the hummingbirds flitting about and a beautiful blue heron. Kayaked and swam, and enjoyed Cindy’s courtesy which we had a number of opportunities to need since I fumbled a bit with the lease agreement and left some important things behind which she notified me about fast enough for us to turn around and pick up. Thanks!

Great Summer Stay

Loved our stay at the lakefront cottage. Property has great views in a quiet neighborhood. Owners go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need to have a great stay and enjoy the water. Would recommend this listing to friends and family.

Great Getaway Cottage

We had a great stay at Little Silver Hart Cottage. We dropped our son off at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and decided to spend a few days vacationing with our daughter. This cottage provides a great place to relax and enjoy some outdoor life fishing and kayaking. The home was very clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. Cindy, the owner, was always available to answer any question we had during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.

Hidden Gem!

This wonderful home was perfect for our family of 5. The house was clean and well appointed. The kitchen and bedrooms were well stocked. Our hosts provided firewood for the firepit and use of the sporting equipment for the lake. We couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommended this home!

Quiet lake get away

Our stay was from Sunday through Friday. This lake was very peaceful during the week and small enough for paddle boating and kayaking. We loved watching the loons and sand hill cranes everyday. My husband liked fishing from his kayak. The cottage is neat and clean and well maintained. We had great communication with the host.

Fantastic place

Such a lovely place on a great spot. All the neighbors were friendly and helpful. Had fifferent houses on lake set off fireworks for 3 straight nights and we loved it.

Wonderful getaway

Stayed a week and enjoyed it immensely. The home was spotless and had everything we could have needed. It was too cold for us to enjoy the lake but they had everything if we were daring enough! If we’re back this way, I would definitely stay again.

What a perfect stay!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The hosts have thought of literally every creature comfort to make it so cozy and allow you to relax and unwind. There are toys and games for little ones, and for adults! The lake is gorgeous - so quiet and clean! It was a tad cold so we were unable to partake in the water fully (I admit, I had to dip in my toes and grab some shells), we hope to do so in another stay during the summer. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy stay with their family and/or friends! We brought three teenage boys - the older boys enjoyed the basement/sun room and our younger boy hung-out upstairs! It was great!

A home away from home

Very welcoming and comfortable home! Clean, cozy, everything you could need and more. Right on the lake. Wishing it would’ve been warmer to enjoy the fire pit and outdoor amenities, but we will just have to come back during the warmer months.

Super clean and has everything!

I have stayed at many places up north but this little beauty is so spotlessly clean and so well equipped that you absolutely want for nothing! I have never once had a comfortable bed at any cottage.. anywhere... I even bring a blow up mattress and pump... First time ever a comfortable mattress and delightful pillows! You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into everything in that home.. great place!

Labor day weekend at the cottage

We enjoyed the cottage (plenty of room for 6 adults), the paddle boat (we had 3 fishing kayaks of our own) and the deck (including fire pit). The lake was not good/clean for swimming.

Great lake stay

Couldn't ask for a better lake stay, especially with little kids. Everything was clean, organized, and labeled. We made lots of use of the fire pit (with wood included!), grill, paddle boat, kayaks, beach area, and toys. Being only a half hour from lake Michigan was also a big plus.

Great Cottage!

This cottage has so much supplied that others don't have: keurig coffee pods, creamers, sugar and sweeteners; icemaker in the frig; lots of towels for bathroom AND for the beach; spices to use when cooking; newer appliances and TVs; plenty of paper supplies, and cleaning supplies. It is a good cottage for a single family, and would be super for children. Decks are great, and there is a wonderful screened in porch for meals and lounging. Everything worked great. Nice friendly neighbors too. We hope to stay again next year.

Relaxing with Friends

Our second visit to this beautiful, quiet property was everything we wanted it to be. The addition of a covered grilling area was a nice surprise. This oasis is everything that is portrayed online and then some.

Great Spot on the Lake

Our names are Randy and Cindy Peterson. My husband is retired and I am self-employed. We have 5 kids and 6 grandchildren. We grew up in the Muskegon area and enjoy the Twin Lake area for everything that it has to offer. We can't wait for you to enjoy the area as well!

Randy and I chose this cottage because we wanted a small house with a lakefront to enjoy when we retire. This property has unique benefits such as a 3-season room, a screened in porch to enjoy the views of the lake, wonderful neighbors and large deck.

Randy and I love staying here in our home! It is very peaceful here and enjoy watching and listening to the wild life that surrounds us. We also love that it has two floors to enjoy.
