Blueberry Cove Cottage is a 3 Bedroom, 1.5 bath, waterfront cottage perfect for a family of 4, comfortably accommodates 6. It is located near Sunday River Resort and Bethel Village. Enjoy hiking, golfing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and biking. The Appalachian Trail, Shelburne NH Trails, and The Mahoosucs are just a few good hikes nearby or a short drive to Rangley is beautiful during autumn colors. Canoe not just Songo, Lake Christopher, Round, North, and South ponds are close by not to mention the Androscoggin River has some of the best fly fishing in New England.
North Conway New Hampshire, tax free outlet shopping is just under a 1 hour drive near Mount Washington. Or in under 2 hours you can drive to the coast, Freeport, ME home of L.L.Bean and outlet shopping and beautiful beaches.
Blue Berry Cove Cottage is a beautiful Maine retreat built in 1930 that sits on 2 acres on the shores of Songo Pond. Enjoy your morning coffee listening to the loons from two private docks! Rental includes use of 3 kayaks and a canoe on the property. And yes, there are wild blueberry plants throughout the property!

Songo Pond, having an area of about 1 square mile and 196 acres, lies in the northern part of the unorganized territory of Albany. It is the source of the Crooked River which eventually discharges into Sebago Lake to the south.

Great dog friendly cottage!

Erika’s cottage was perfect for our stay. The fenced in yard is great for dogs and ours loved to swim in the pond. The house had the basics and the town of Bethel is so close which was great. We would definitely stay here again!

Great lakefront spot!

This is our second stay at this property and it was again perfect for our needs - our dog loved the fenced yard and we loved the docks and having the boats (canoe and kayaks) available for use. We look forward to returning next year!

Quiet and cozy

Nice, dog friendly property on the water that had everything needed to enjoy our vacation. Canoe and kayaks were a nice feature. Had a nice time by the fire pit.

Very nice lake setting.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blueberry Cottage on Songo Pond.The cottage is on the small side and we spent most of our time outside enjoying the lake. We would love to come back next year.

Beautiful Blueberry Cove!!

We love Blueberry cove! It’s our 4th time staying there we like it so much. Very clean and well stocked but not cluttered, plenty of room for your own things. The yard and fire pit are spacious and lovely. The fenced in yard is great for a dog. The kayaks are good and the cove is very well situated. The host is excellent with communication.

So nice we came back for a second stay

We had a great week at this rental! It was our second time staying here. The location is perfect and we love being right on the water. The fenced in yard is perfect for the dog. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and we would definitely stay again

Perfect Comfy Home, Great Fenced Yard, Quiet Lake

This is our second year here and it was beautiful, both times. Communication was always quick and kind. The house is homey and well equipped. The beds and furniture are super comfy. The wifi works great. Our dog loves the fenced in yard for running and playing. This is truly a peaceful haven and we can't wait to return.

Great stay

As usual we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to get together with family and enjoyed getting take-out at the Good Food store, pastries at Gemini , and having dinner at the Bethel Inn. The weather was great--cool nights and pleasant days. Thanks Erika PS. TV was no problem. It would be helpful to specify which trash can is for recycles--we were confused.

Really enjoyed our second stay here.

Peaceful, Beautiful, Blueberry Cove

This is my second time at Blueberry Cove and it is lovely! Clean and comfortable, with everything you need there, or easy to get in town just a 10 minute drive away. The fenced-in yard is spectacular and the docks on the pond make for easy boating and water play. I was traveling with my adult siblings, older mother, and large active dog and the space suited us all perfectly! Would definitely stay again.

Blueberry Cove Cottage

It was our second time in renting this water front cottage. Very comfortable and close to area attractions. We enjoyed our stay despite the wet weather. Area was flooded from excessive rain but the property owners were very responsive and helpful. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. Would recommend this rental to others.

Exactly as pictured and perfect for dog

The home and property is exactly as pictured - not fancy, but very clean and the lake front is so pretty! It was also really great to have a fenced yard so we could relax on the dock without watching the dog every second! It was also very nice to have the kayaks and canoe as we didn't use them enough that we could have justified renting them, but had a few fun outings with them. The town is just a five minute drive and has a good basic grocery store along with a lovely coffee shop. We would be glad to return to this home!

Great spot by Songo Pond

I have family in Bethel so we needed a close spot to hang out. 3 adults and 1 child stayed comfortably, any more could feel a little crowded because the house is small - but very cute. The picnic table outside became our central eating spot. Songo Pond has clear water (not too much algae) and wasn’t busy with motor boats. There’s no beach but the rocks are not bad off the dock in the shallow area.

Autumn Bliss in Bethel

This is my 3rd time staying at Blueberry Cove, it is a beautiful property, well kept and very cozy. The fenced in yard is roomy and fenced up to the waters edge making it perfect if you’re travelling with a dog. It’s close to town but very quiet on the pond. The host is very easy to communicate with and prompt to answer questions. They provide kayaks and a canoe that are easily launched from the boat dock. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and utensils and the beds and pillows are newer and comfortable. I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying there again.

Mountain Getaway has It All

Songo Pond was a perfect location for so many activities in the Bethel area. Blueberry Cove was also the ideal spot for just hanging out on a quiet day; very peaceful and idyllic lakeside retreat. The canoe and 3 kayaks plus 2 docks and a float made sure we got in lots of lake time. Had to share cove with loons and a heron. The cottage was well equipped and all appliances were operational. A comfortable living room + a Smart TV were welcome on a long rainy afternoon.

Sweet, peaceful cottage

We were looking for a laid back space and this was it. Songo Pond is so quintessentially Maine. Peaceful and quiet and yet only three miles to the lovely town of Bethel. The bullfrogs and loon serenaded us all night! The cottage was charming and clean. And Erika responded to our questions immediately! It was perfect for us, a retired couple, but would also be great for a lively family of four. Thanks for a lovely experience.

3rd time as mich of acharm as the 1st and 2nd

We stay here because the owners are very understanding of pets as family. Our family has many paws and they are always accommodating and understanding. They have the water sports supplies you need, and are always quick to answer questions on the fly. The instructions and guidelines are well defined, and not suffocating. This place is ideal for us. We go on vacation to get away from tourists, we live in a seaside community. Away from it all is just where we end up staying here.

Cozy Cottage in Maine

Cottage was the perfect size for my husband and I and dog. It was cozy and clean and had direct access to the pond. Loved that it had a yard for my dog to roam around. We took advantage of the canoe and kayaks on site. Cottage was near downtown so that we could grocery shop and not too far from North Conway where we took advantage of Outlet Shopping on an overcast/rainy day. The only issue which wasn't that important to us due to the cooler weather of late August was swimming. There is a swimming pier on the property but the water was very shallow. Overall we had a great time!

Fall weekend getaway

Really nice place to get away for a few days. Great trails for biking and walking in the area, and lots of scenic drives. It was pretty windy, so didn't do any kayaking. Le Mu in town is great! Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware, we took full advantage of that. Brought our dog, the large backyard is wonderful and care has been taken to ensure quality enclosure. Had an issue with the toilet gasket not sealing right and the toilet was running. A plumber was brought in the next day for a fix, and Erika was great to communicate with. Definitely highly recommend.

Great Property

This is the second summer in a row we stayed. Great all around property with everything you need for the week. Kitchen was well equipped. Canoe and kayaks were fun. My only complaint would be the master bed is uncomfortable. Plenty to do on the area. ATV rental at Northeast Snowmobile was a great morning activity. Pontoon rental at Moose Landing Marina on Long Lake (about an hour away) was a super fun day of tubing, fishing and swimming. I recommend Mallard Mart in town for convenience needs and pizza. Sud’s Pub had the best food around hands down.Also this year we tried Mountain View Massage and they were amazing! We had a great massage lakeside!

Perfect week at Blueberry Cove

My husband, our fur-babies, and I spent the most relaxing week on the lake. I'm honestly not sure who enjoyed it most: us or the dogs! The cottage was clean and courteously appointed with necessities: linens, beach towels, kitchen ware, fans, area maps, etc. The kayaks and cornhole were an added bonus. We spent more time outdoors than in the cottage, enjoying the gorgeous sunsets on the dock and swimming/kayaking on the lake. We even squeezed a day trip to Mount Washington in, a 30-min ride away. Erika was easy to communicate with, making herself available, yet giving us the privacy we crave while vacationing. Thanks so much for a lovely visit. We hope to come again! Krista & Greg Borrero
